that ,s the best long range shotgun shooting ever, they were the size of sparrows but they still came down with a thud.top shooting by the best shot about be it crows or clays.
He is shooting one of his target shotguns, that is why it has extractors rather than ejectors. You pull out the spent cartridges by hand and deposit them into a bucket at the clays station, or put them into a bag in order to take them home to reload. Much tidier than flinging spent hulls where they will be underfoot.

A tip when hunting in the woods, don’t shoot the crows as the others will recognize you and alert other wildlife. My father shot them for years out of anger only to find out he was just making it worst. They recognize faces and will alert each other as well as deer/hog and a variety of wildlife.

I think the problem is, the "normal" people are not educated enough over the facts of land live or the country side. i am a licenced hunter from Germany and here we have the same problems with these people. Everything that didnt fit into their way of living is considered as "bad" or "evil". Especialy when it is connected to guns and hunting or shooting. they have no problem with buying shitty meat from the supermarket, but dont know how it its "made"
I think the world needs more environmentally friendly facilities and energy, plus vegan sandwiches. I am a proponent of renewable energy, such as wind farms, where the machines have a 200 meter span, or 'bird choppers' as they are known around here. Just put an environmentally friendly wind farm near your farm, and the bird shooting thing will become unnecessary.

Great shooting. For anyone who thinks this is cruel, take a visit to the country during lambing and get a farmer to show you a new born lamb with it's eyes pecked out by the crows. If a ewe struggles having the lamb, the crows take the opportunity to peck the lambs eyes and tongue out. They also peck out sheep's eyes and anus if the get stuck on the ground. Not a nice way to die.

We use both electronic calls and wood mouth calls in Virginia USA. My hunting buddy can mouth call with just his voice. . A lot of times we shoot cows during Canada Goose field hunting. Off season , shooting crows are a fun time to get together and make some noise.

As a Clay shooter, I know what an excellent shot George is, I tried shooting Pigeon once, but I was rubbish tbh, I'm only an average shot with the clays tbh. But maybe thats the key, could it be that part of George's success with clay is down to his game and quarry experience, its certainly a great deal more difficult, I know, I've tried it. Hmmm
Derek, as an angler and having seen these birds increase in number over the years and how efficiently they hammer the coarse fish, I strongly agree. I take great interest in nature and I love our UK wildlife. It's obvious that controlling the numbers of certain more successful species (predatory ones in particular) benefits many of the other more vulnerable species, helps to maintain diversity and enriches the environment. Careful wildlife management through protecting and generating habitat and predator control is the responsible thing to do.

I just wish Digweed had joined the army. I have no doubt he would be a prodigy with a belt fed machine gun in afghanistan or any gun in fact when it came to running targets, just so long as he himself didn't have to run at at any point. We have a variety of birds that we feed but the one bird I absolutely hate is the crow which robs other birds nests and sit outside squawking at the highest peak in the trees waking up who ever is within range. These nuisance birds are actually protected in Queensland Australia by a political system who live in crystal towers where their are no trees who ban people from keeping roosters who only crow of a morning but are ignorant to the fact that crows are squawking morning and evening day in day out.
Whilst nothing like the plague of crows in Britain, they have established themselves as a minor pest in NZ, but to get rid of them we simply blew their nests out of the trees. PCP rifles are useful nowadays.

I just wish Digweed had joined the army. We have a variety of birds that we feed but the one bird I absolutely hate is the crow which robs other birds nests and sit outside squawking at the highest peak in the trees waking up who ever is within range. These nuisance birds are actually protected in Queensland Australia by a political system who live in crystal towers where their are no trees who ban people from keeping roosters who only crow of a morning but are ignorant to the fact that crows are squawking morning and evening day in day out.
