Great job on the install video. I was just installing 1800kv Fusion on my TRX4, and my install video will be coming up shortly as well. As for cutoff voltage, Intermediate (default) is 3.2v/cell, Low is 3.0v/cell and High is 3.4v/cell. I was debating about installing fusion on Ecto, but I think I am going to stay brushed setup.
Thank you sir! I'm very impressed with the Fusion setup. Been tempted by one for ages and nearly got one for my GSpeed rig. Glad I finally went for it on the Ecto though. Look forward to seeing it on the TRX4. Thanks for the voltage info, might switch it to high, 3.2v feels a bit low for my liking.
@@PhilBrindley My main concern on Fusion was 2-1 unit, but I have been hearing that it's pretty reliable. First impression so far, I am pretty impressed with it. I think it will work really well on Ecto. I debated it trying it out on Ecto vs. TRX4, but I ended up putting it in TRX4. As for voltage cutoff, 3.4v might be safer bet. I am going to try the default intermediate setting and see how that works.
Very nice! I have an axe setup in one of my trucks and I really like it. But Ive been wanting to try one of the fusions, I wish the had a little higher kv options though.
Great video, new subscriber. My Fusion 1800 kv motor arrives this week and I didn’t think about the lighting system. Where did you end up running your lights from? Thanks
The outrunner motors are cheaper, but the esc for them is super expensive. Take a look at the new Hobbywing Fusion Pro range. They look like very good value.
It feels a little slower to me, but not much. I don't tend to use full throttle much but am hoping to get out on Monday with mine and a pretty much stock Ecto so I can do some side by side tests!
Hey Phil great video! I love this truck 💗 where can I find those windows and the fan on the back? Thanks in advance and keep crawling! 😀 Great channel.
Thank you! Both things are 3D printed. The radiator and fans are technically for a Capra, but scaled up to 120% they work perfectly. The nets are just a printed grid that I trimmed to fit. They are printed with a flexible TPU filament. Hope that helps. 🤙
Yep, the Fusion is an awesome powerplant. I'm running it in my SCVX10 II,HPI Venture and RST bitsa but for now I'm running a 1080 esc and stock motor in my Ecto ruclips.net/video/FSiUljnRWBg/видео.html

Ottimo lavoro! Complimenti.
Thank you. 🤙
Can I get a video on all the parts in the build? I think the truck looks amazing and would like to build something similar
Nicely done Phil you are good on camera and you come across really good no waffle etc keep it up like what you do I'm going to DM you in a minute 🤞🤞👍👍
Thanks mate, that's very kind of you to say. 🤙
cool job! big like! 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers! 🤙
Nice truck!!
Thanks 😎🤙

Thanks. Yes, a 2100 or 2200 would be awesome would have more pinion options for sure.

@@Joey.Boogie can’t quite remember and don’t have the truck now. I think I just ran them from a 5v and ground on the receiver.
This system is next. I decided to get an AXE system for my element build.
It'll go well with an AXE system in it that's for sure! 🤙
Hello what do you think about outrunner Motors ? I am about to buy an ecto but These brushless Motors are very expensive

@@PhilBrindley yes i think i will buy an Fusion SE
How is the fusion speed compared to stock 14t motor?

I think the 1080 and stock motor are a great combo for the Ecto. I only really went with the Fusion as I've been wanting to try one for ages 🤪🤙
