    Not my own deal but I would put a camera on the last car to be able to see the whole train going in the turns.

    I have hundreds of HO locomotives and rolling stock i have been collecting for over 30 years here in Alaska. Most have never been run on track, never had the time or space for a layout, but at 63 years old i really, really wish to buy a home near Orlando to build a layout.

    That first train needed those three brutish, six-axled engines to lug all that heavy steel and big machinery, lol. I can't identify the 3rd unit, though. Looks like an GP40. I like the good speed at which the train runs - not train set fast and not painstakingly slow.

    Any other videos on this superbly done layout. So much fine details whisked over. Would enjoy a lot more SLOW PANS of the actual layout. The loco running shots are nice but more justice would be severed scanning various sections from city to trestles rock formations etc etc.. Missing the main focal of this great layout--the general overall shots that capture the various sections that appear to flow so well. Just saying----the layout deserves a video grapher with an eye for shooting one fine accomplishment.

      Agreed... Waaay too many closeups of engines and cars . Some others raved about the great layout, but this video really does not show it.

    Why only one train? No meets with other trains, no switching, just the same train over and over again. Pretty boring, but layout show lots of potential if you like roundy-roundy.

    How would I know this is the best layout in Orlando? I'm staring at an engine, loads and couplers. It's like you went out of your way to avoid showing scenery. I was going to unsubscribe until I checked out your channel and you actually DO have some awesome, amazing, beautiful videos of trains and close ups of scenery! I'm just not a fan of "chasing the train" close ups of the engines. Yes, I see you have engines, cool ones, but the whole video that's all I'm staring at, while blowing past all of the scenery. I'm staying a subscriber because the other videos on your channel are superb, unfortunately, not this one, in my opinion (The next guy might not like the scenery ones and only want to watch trains, so there ya go, lol)

    On average, what distance is represented per metre of Track on this Layout?

    • @joe_ln_modeler6964
      @joe_ln_modeler6964 5 лет назад

      It's HO (1:87) scale, so 1 meter of track should be 87 meters in real life.

    • @nevillemadden5210
      @nevillemadden5210 5 лет назад

      @@joe_ln_modeler6964 Okay, Thanks. Yes, I'm aware of the Scale Ratio System/s. But I was wondering if you had actually used Precise Metre for Metre Measurements; because, depending on specific circumstances and Location that a Layout is Modelled from, that's not always possible.
      I'm looking at using a part or parts of FEC Railways for N Guage, but for what I have in mind, doing that would not be possible: To represent 1 Mile, I would need 33 Feet of Track, or 1 for Kilometre I'd need 6.25 Metres of Track. So, I'm trying to a reasonable compromise, so that a Train with about 8 Cars/Trucks behind the Loco wouldn't look out of place.
