Never have I ever thought I'd enjoy hearing Yankee fans grasp for reasons why they couldn't put a game together. My perspective, as a Mets fan. It's a team effort. Sometimes the tip of our lineup gets the job done, sometimes it's the bottom. JDM got hot and then other guys got hot. Judge and Soto get hot, and the rest of the team goes into the clubhouse because that's where the AC is. The team isn't going to magically get better if the other no name players don't make a name for themselves. The Yankees got lucky with Judge and they sold the farm for Soto. They won't increase the payroll to put something better on the field. They won't take chances on players (thanks for Sevi and Torrens, we love them dearly) and they seem to be giving chances to has beens (JD Davis) that can't perform in the city. Baseball is a lot more exciting with the Kings of Queens.
