One of the ways society has improved, unequivocally for the better, is that it’s now expected that Dads spend more time with their kids. As a dad, I am profoundly glad of this. As someone who isn’t PM I would fight tooth and nail to protect that. And even at 5 my daughter says and thinks things that give me pause and makes me a better, less cynical person. We all know that a PM is always on call, but frankly, the societal expectation, thankfully, is that a PM absolutely should make time for their family, if for no other reason than to keep themselves sane.
