Correction The Big Drum the march played by The Band of the Royal Airforce is called "Under the Double Eagle" composed by Josef Franz Wagner (20 March 1856 - 5 June 1908).
Looks as though the Director of Music is marching at the front of the band, alongside the Drum Major leading the RAF Band and I presume the Band Warrant Officer is marching at the rear of the RAF Band.
You're all wrong. The first march is "Gibraltar" played by the Band of HM Royal Marines, with the composer being Lt. Colonel Richard Waterer, RM, who was a Principal Director of Music in the Royal Marines some years ago.
Hello, I'm creating a short stop motion animation directed at young kids with the aim to teach them the importance of the poppy and in a section, we need to show one of the character's watching the Remembrance parade. Could we have your permission to use this video, please? We will credit you of course :)
Superb opening with visuals of the memorial closeups and music in background,i had this favorited but lost last account and thankful in rediscovered it.👍

How come the RAF Band have 2 directors of music? one in the front and one at the back?
Just a guess - maybe it's two bands combined?
Thanks

The French Horn player in the RAF band is indeed also a qualified Drum Major, hence his 4 upside down chevrons with a drum badge above them.
