I have the Ryzen 5600H version that I upgraded to 16GB (can go to 40). The display is underwhelming but the device is excellent for office work.
Hi iam planning to buy the 16gm variant with 5600h is it worth to buy now? Does the display cause eye strain?
@@The_unsung Mine doesn't cause any visibility issues. It may not be the best screen but it doesn't cause me any eyestrain. But I usually use it with a monitor whenever I'm in the office and only use the laptop display when I'm out and about.

@@The_unsung After the initial updates, it works seamlessly, even if it is unsuitable for more than casual gaming due to weak integrated graphics. The screen works great, even if I mostly use it when I want to take notes using a Metapen M2 stylus. For Office work, and even some technical work like editing video, coding and modelling, the 5600H seems to work fine without any major lags. I find myself using it more than my more powerful desktop.

TBH, There's not much to say. The display is full HD and serviceable, but its color accuracy sucks even if you are not a display enthusiast/expert.
IT's a FHD but with a 16:10 ratio. So 1200px on the shorter side.
I bought this laptop and I agree; the colour is beautiful and very underrated!

Didnt you get a fan tray that connects to the bottom of the laptop? That is very useful if you decide to use the laptop over about 8 hours . I just bought this laptop and the tray fan comes for free.
Mine gets noisy with prolonged use, but I don't mind it as it is quieter than my PC. The laptop works as expected in most tasks I've tried.
Is there a graphics card for a Core i5 processor with 512 storage space?
Is it good for editing?
I hesitate between this or the 13.3" Zenbook Flip. The Zenbooks's hinge is supposted to more durable, however the Vivobook is slightly lighter (because of the materials used) The Vivobook's screen, front camera and some specs are also better. Which one do you recommend? (it's for a high school kid) I have a 15.6" Vivobook pro myself, so I am fine with Asus.
Correction: I am talking about both with OLED screens
I've been using mine for months and it doesn't seem to degrade. I always assume "affordable" systems like these are supposed to be treated carefully.
@@GuantaiN I'd assume a 2-in-1 foldable laptop with military grading should be supposed to last. Needless to say you don't smash and bump it around.

Dell G5 and G7 are the best with the rtx series.
Love everything except the color. Blue doesn't go well with anything (interior or clothing). Wish it were a neutral color like white, grey or black.

Kann man mit diesen Laptop gut mit einem Stift benutzen? Ich will ihn für die schule benutzen und muss dafür viel von hand auf dem Laptop schreiben. Bei meinem alten laptop hat der Stift immer gezittert.
My S14 Flip laptop. I was working and left it for a few minutes. When I came back, I was surprised to be asked for a new PIN code and that the old one was disabled and could not be accessed (explorer.exe - System Error). The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application) I felt frustrated and spent 9 hours trying to solve the problem, but the problem was not solved, and I do not know what is the reason for this problem. By the way, it is a completely new laptop that has been in service for only 4 months, an Asus S14Flip Ryzen 5600 laptop, a Radeon card, and RAM. 8 JB and its performance was very slow when browsing websites, but I noticed that sometimes its temperature increased.

My Vivobook's USB-C port failed suddenly while the power adapter was plugged into it. Suddenly, while I was browsing, a message appeared on the screen saying that power had been disconnected. Nothing was wrong with the power adapter, and I have an alternate power adapter to test with. The USB-C power yet worked with an external hard-disk. The second USB-C port yet works for charging the laptop. .... LENOVO notebooks also have this problem. It is an Intel USB-C Thunderbolt port driver issue and LENOVO has a fix for it while ASUS is totally unaware.

On the Intel version you can play GTA V at 1080P medium settings and get 30 - 40 FPS on the Ryzen 5 version you cannot

May I ask why is it terrible?
@@crysthaliasutandy9423 touch digitizer is visible net on the screen. At distance of 0,5m or more it is not visible, but when you look closer, it is very visible and if you are sensitive on quality, you wont enjoy any content. It would be ok if you just work on it in normal distance, but since it has also tablet mode, you want to hold it closer to your face often.
