Thank you for your lovely tutorials. I have been loom knitting for a few years now but as I have a disability and do not have full use of my left hand, I prefer the more basic e-wrap patterns. Until I found your channel I had not come across many "easy", but still interesting ones to do. So I thank you so much for renewing my faith in loom knitting! xx
Do not remember if I told you. Did a blanket in this and was not wide enough so I added owl eye border. I would not love looming if it were not for your no purl stitches. So fast and lovely. Thanks again and again!!
I have loved this stitch for about 2 1/2 to 3 yrs now. Anyway I was needing a strap or something and I didn't want the typical I Cord so played with your stitch a little and came up with something wonderful not only for a strap but for the edging of say on washcloths and or blankets. Some might say it's a picot edge but I've done a few of those and this is different. I'm not quite sure what to call it and I was hoping to see it in at least one of your videos but haven't or anyone's for that matter. It looks like little nubby mountain peaks. I was working in the flat for a washcloth so only the sides have this edging. Based on the little info do you think that would be considered picot or scalloped category or something new I can name, lol
It's okay I showed my husband and immediately without thought he says spine stitch, pretty simple. When I have my finished pieces to show family and friends I'm still going to mention you, for several reasons one because I am using your owleye stitch and two your stitch was the inspiration behind what I came up with. It's just fair and the right thing to do. I subscribe the other day and saw some new stitches that I'll have to try out but for now I'm going to owleye myself out, lol. Have a great day and God Bless you.
Thank you Deborah for this lovely stich. It is easy to do and looks neat. I am using it now to make myself a sweater vest to keep me warm this winter. Using I Love this Yarn, 4 weight, on 1/2 inch loom. 🥰👌🍁
Thank you for showing this stitch and a different way to "cast on." I saw this cast on, on a different video, but, never heard the name it was called - I forgot how to do it - and, was "scared" I might never see it again because I forgot also which loom knitting video I had seen it on. So - *THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU " for sharing this video with us!!! Am now going to try and loom knit a blanket for myself on a large loom - will prob have to knit two or three panels, maybe four, to make it wide enough to use. Do you have any suggestions as to how to "sew" the panels together so that the "seams" won't show or so that the seams will be "next - to - invisible "? I may just do many squares and turn them in opposing directions to give the blanket a bit more of a "special " pattern. Or, does the "Owl stitch" look the same in all directions? Thank you for any and all info you can give me. I am new to loom knitting, and, (pun intended) am " hooked" on it, now!!! LOL!!! Thank You again for sharing. Am a new subscriber, now. God Bless You and yours!!!
This is the ewrap owl stitch And i have other stiches with owl in the name as well. You can attach this one on the loom in panels if you want or do a 10 stitch style with it and i have videos for both on my chanel.
I too have a disability, no use of right side, so need projects that can be done one-handed. Is there anyway you can do some videos showing single handed work. I really would love to do creative stuff, so, thanks for all you do. 😻
I keep seeing videos posted about dollar stores that sell yarn. I shop at dollar stores and have never seen yarns being sold there ever. So does anyone in the New Jersey area on this channel know where yarn is sold at???

Using for blanket with Anniversary Cakes and coming out beautiful and nicely textured. Thanks Deborah

@@YahwehsKnitWit i based all my borders on owl eye too, its so good because it keeps it from curling.
@@DeborahShaw I agree I'm getting ready to post my video, not as professional as you but that's not my calling. lol
So excited! I have a loom set that I haven’t used in awhile! Nice to see patterns and instructions!

It will look different in different directions but that may be cool.
That would be cool to do a blanket and put the squares all different ways I might have to give that a try as well
Can the owl eye stitch be completely by it self for blanket?
yes
how to fix a slipped e-wrap stitch after casting off?
I would just find a way to blend it in
I too have a disability, no use of right side, so need projects that can be done one-handed. Is there anyway you can do some videos showing single handed work. I really would love to do creative stuff, so, thanks for all you do. 😻
many people do one handed work with my videos

What multiple of stitches are you using? Us that a 5/8 loom guage? Bulky yarn? Beautiful stitch!
The info should be in the video but that is a 3/4" loom and its a ribbon yarn that is a bulky but its thinner than most bulkys.
Do you need border for blanket if you use owl eye stitch?
no you dont
Okay, so owl eye is just like ewrap, except it's going around two pegs at once instead of one at a time. Is that right?
no its not
watch a video about just owl eye if you need to see how to do it.
What cast off do you recommend?

How to do this in the round for a baby hat?
same way
u can make this into a hat
yes you can
