This is a video of my Balla Stitch Shawl. it works up fast and easy and is good for beginners. My Ravelry Store www.ravelry.co... My Facebook Group / 1476150792635430
You are such a good teacher. Your explanations are easy to understand and It really helps that I can stop the video as needed and work along with you. THANKS!
TY for this wonderful video. I've been searching for shawls on looms forever, and FINALLY I've bookmarked this. So, when I get my yarn I'll follow along. You have a very nice teaching style and I hope I'll be able to find more of your loom knitting videos. Thank you again.
You always do such great videos! There is a friendly manner to them- like you are sitting next to the viewer as a friend, showing them how to do your latest stitch or project. When you make mistakes and leave them in, it conveys a sense of ease and acceptance that makes the viewer feel encouraged about loom knitting and mistakes are not something to feel bad about. It’s so compassionate and relaxed to do that!
I had a beautiful loom pick just like yours, with a peace sign on it. One day, while dealing with a few difficult stitches, the polymer resin cover began to crack and it just got worse from there. 😞
Tyson much for responding so quickly. I actually do want it wider. YAY thank you for adding the more wider statement. I Subscribed so I'm hoping that means I'll have access to more of your videos @@DeborahShaw

They never made one with a peace sign, I dont think, so it must have been someone elses.
Wow !!!!!
Me again. I would like it to be longer. How do I go about making it longer-a bigger loom w/ more pegs, or??? TY again
more pegs is wider...to go longer do more rows

Want to make a prayer shawl with this stitch
I have a couple brands of the plastic looms. What are the advantages in your opinion of the Cyndy Wood looms? Your voice is so easy to listen to.
Better made, and a pleasure to use.
Moring. Do you think we can can use this for a blanket. Regards from a sunny South Africa
You could its not a tight stitch though
Will give it a tray and see.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ love
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ have good day
Also, how do you add yarn if a single skein isn't enough?
Same as with any other stitch
This is my first time ever making a shawl how long should it be? I'm making it for my mother who is 5 even. Also would a worsted weight be ok?
Yes worsted is fine and you can make shawls any length you want. Some do it from the length of one hand to the other stretched out
Thank you
@@dallascolla2079 i googled this for you....Classic shawls tend to be 70 to 85 inches long and 30 to 45 inches wide
do you have to use bulky yarn?
no...i should have gone over that in the video, but match your yarn to the loom and do a swatch first to see how it looks.
Does it make a difference of how many pegs to use?
nope use as many as you want.
