I think sindhees wear sarees but punjabees are not..very little no of Punjabees in india too wear saree.. People of bangal normally wear sarees even in indian bangal or Bangladesh.. Bangalees normally very proud of their culture everywhere

I have also seen so many younger women preferring shalwar qameez over sarees. People of Pakistan don’t wear saris but different varieties of Shalwar Qameez. It’s only the Hindus or the muhajirs (muslim migrate from india) who wear it. Before 1980s it was a common party west and that’s why many women even politicians like nusrat Bhutto use to wear it but post 1980s the trend does but it snow regenerating and saree is getting more and more space as a party west however saree was never the dress of the masses of the Indus Valley region on a regular basis

I learned kathak dance in school and they also taught us hip hop, it seemed like a fun class but then the fun doubled into confidence. it made me feel very happy, healthy and strong. art is a way to express yourself and no one should obstruct that. from Lahore

Kathak became a classical art in the court. It is, in fact, not Vedic. I have no issues with it being Vedic, though. Bharatnatyam, Dhrupad are more in line with Sam Veda and natya shastra.
