You can tell he smirked and sort of got emotional when they showed the first shot because of his injury he was astonished at how he could reach that ball back then
😞😢
That slice dropper against Kohlschreiber is the greatest drop shot ever played, especially in the context of it being match point down.
and he went on to win that tournament
The most true comment of all time. All the other "great shots" are often just because of a guess/read or the relative positions of players or just the pace of the ball. This is just class defined and the fact it was instinctive too. 1000000/10
His best shots are first the lob then his back hand. He was a great defender and retriever. I felt his forehand was good but not great and often was not punitive enough and his second serve was below par when it comes to competing with the elite. His lobs are the best I’ve seen.
As a lob fan 😁 I confirm too that he's the best lobber I've seen.
He had a good return too, was very fast and a great ball counterer
Opponent: *about to put away the easy winner
Murray: "Who decided that?"
It's kind of nostalgic watching these clips. Hope to see him playing freely again soon.
We just have to hope 🥲
He was playing so well in Madrid , and that stupid food poisoning had to happen.
@@ryoshusuke2108 If it's true. He looked pretty washed after that game.
He was playing incredible tennis though.
@@ml1916 Abuserev should beat up whoever made what Andy ate
That’s impossible…
No.2 Absolutely fantastic point.
3:56 Actually Kei won that set. But Murray went on to win the match 6-7(9), 6-4,6-4.
The level he played when he was at his best was incredible
Very much spent his career under the radar, in any other era he wins 10 slams in my opinion one the greatest players to grace the game. Triple slam champ 14 masters titles and a truck load of more titles. along with the only mens double Olympic gold medal winner in singles. I guess he did alright
Hope to see Murray back on court
A gain He's so favorite. !
Want more of these kind of videos. Loved it
Big 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Great player.
The anticipation to go with the athleticism were what set Murray apart, either on their own will help make you a top player, the combination will make you elite.
I would love it so much if Tennis TV shared their music. It's always really good.
Agreed, anyone happen to know the name of this track?
Did you guys already figured out who the artist is?
people tend to forget that andy murray was the only other world no. 1 in the reign of big 3...
Depends if u still think we're in that reign.. but I guess with Federer out you'd have to say no.
And who forgot? 😅
it was big 4, not big 3
Did anyone see Fokina walking in the background?? 😂😂
Fokina be like " I better go and practice for the match tomorrow"
Very humble and classy guy
More videos like this, please.
More content like this from the older players who may be leaving the tour soon!
I was there for the shot during the Nishkori match!
A true great of the game.
Happy birthday Andy!
Happy birthday Andy.
Any idea who the music is from in this clip?
No lob shots? Those are a beaut from Andy
Right? My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined lol, but still can't complain, these are great!
2:30 the shot was so good it broke the commentator’s voice
who else noticed Davidovich Fokina walking in the background at 0;40?????
King 👑 pusher
Still very much a big 4 player. No one is yet to surpass him as the 4th biggest men's player in terms of achievements during this big 3 domination era.
no.1
I miss Andy being at his best. Best double handed backhand by a mile.
Even he said his backhand wasnt on par with Novak.
With all respect towards Sir Andy*
Murray was a great talented player and unfortunately his hips didn't let him continue his career like he wanted. Hopefully one day he can enjoy tennis like he did before.
Bro, he’s literally in top 70, at least he’s playing tennis. I mean, still playing very well, and his ranking is improving quickly!
He's like 4th in all time earnings; I think if he didn't enjoy it he wouldn't be playing
@@jayzerbeam9733 players like Andy can enjoy playing tennis only at the highest level like he was doing before. Now he suffer more than he enjoy I think. If you listen good at his interviews he's not that happy player that he was before what's very understandable
@@taner3142 I do agree that there will be a lot of sadness about not being near the top any more, but there are very few places where you get the same calibre of opponent than the tour, so he probably still enjoys the competition. But yeah if I was him I probably would be still playing for the challenge, but it would REALLY suck about knowing you won't get there again without some kind of miracle
@@jayzerbeam9733 after all he's been trough, yes he must be happy still playing. It's a privilege doiing what you like to do every day
What is with the music volume.... Turn it down please
I really do feel bad for him. What an athlete now has to play with a metal hip
Djokovic could have done the drop shot on that last point, if he did its a free point lmao
Absolutely, I just and honestly feel Novak at that point felt bad of winning as many finals against Murray, and the fact the english man always came second to him, so he gave him the opportunity hitting the cross-court FH so Andy could win in a spectacular fashion.
Sad to see him admit he can’t run down shots like he used to.
Andy "sort of" Murray 😂
Did you have to cut him in talking in the middle of the point? Can’t you just play the full point uninterrupted? Who edited this?

ugh Murray is so full of himself.. I mean the guy started rambling about his own career during the Del Potro tribute video, nuff said
This player attacks his opponent verbally too much, if he loses, so no respect, the victim was Djokovic in the 2015 Australian Open final and below, also tsitsipas in us open
This joke was destroyed by nadal. Go retire andy joke
Another Keyboard warrior. This joke will be remembered throughout eternity for whatever he has done and achieved while you rot away with your hate.
