For switchback sequential option - Could these be hardwired to the mirrors? To work with unlock/lock, open door with the white light and amber for the turn signals.
Saw the M1 install on Ramblin' Garages Page and I'm definitely ordering the M2 since there is a 20% discount for pre-orders... one question tho! can we keep the steps down when parked and do they come out enough to protect the door from getting dinged up? how would the LED hold against an impact by a door opening?
LED will hold up just fine. You can keep the steps down by putting them into cleaning mode; putting them down is detailed at the end of our tutorial videos. As for protecting you vs. door dings from other vehicles, that depends on the height of your vehicle as it pertains to other vehicles door heights.
Can I get them to light up only when deploying the step in white, like a courtesy light and also have the function of an amber turn signal when retracted. I like the look of the step, I just don’t want the constant on of the white light while driving.

We are in Chicago so these things have been tested to some extreme things locally, as well as in the lab without issue. They also have sensing technology built in, so if they are truly bound up and frozen with ice they just won't deploy until they thaw and the motor won't run so it doesn't fry the motor!
The LED's are custom molded strips that were designed 100% in house to ensure proper fit to the boards; not some stick on strip like the others guy do. The internal LED's are the same LED's we use in all of our other lighting products which have a proven track record for quality.

They look great! I still love my M1s. I'm in alot of mud and dirt, so im still skeptical about the motor. Had bad experiences with the other brands.
We've tested these in very extreme conditions, but M1's still have a place on many builds as well nothing wrong with that!

Great looking, with a little fabrication would I be able to get these to work on a 1995 K1500 extended cab???
We don't currently offer them for a 95 K1500 - we couldn't speak to what you'd have to do in terms of fab
