  • In this video I go through detailed instruction on my process of installing windows in my shed build. These are replacement windows meaning they have no nailing fin, but I am installing them in a new construction setting. I also show my house wrapping process and how it ties-in with the window install. These are single hung, double pane windows for my next level shed that will be used as a studio space and workshop / she shed.

I've been watching the playlist and came up with a new drinking game, take a shot every time Karl says "sheathing" 😂

Just a thought. You should have angle cut the moisture barrier around the windows so it folded in over the window seat on the bottom and sides of the window frame.

That's definitely one way of doing it. I decided to have only my adhesive flashing tape wrap in the sides and bottom to prevent air from leaking in behind the house wrap. Flush cut vs X cut. I'm definitely open to X cut being a good method too. I'm not a pro.
