Love this car, great to drive.
The whole review was absurd. So much info about the car was missing, such as specs, performance, handling etc. Not sure if this was supposed to be some sort of "teaser" review ( as a precursor to something more in depth later on ) but, if so, it wasn't very good even at that. Nothing of any value or substance here. That said, I might've enjoyed this... if I'd been 10 years old...

Yes I have 2 of these in my driveway
I used to fix these not that long ago. F-----g headache. So many problems. Then again the English have never really built reliable cars ever.
Jaguar is just as bad or probably worse. Never buy a British car unless you want to spend $10's of thousands in repairs.
Should have driven it on the Calder Freeway instead at 40km's on Albert Park Race track!!!!!

What an awesome vehicle.
With the 90 / 110 / 130 model available with a choice of engines, and in various levels of spec, there’s a lot of choice with new Defender.
Why do we still have LCT in Australia, which would be approx $ 36 k of the price !

Pretty disappointed with this review. Seeing it pootle around at 38 km/h wasn't very informative, and even without hiring a drag strip, if you'd driven the car for a couple of hundred kilometres including some freeway driving as you said when you quoted the 16L/100km fuel figure, couldn't we have seen some of that real world driving in the review? Surely some freeway on ramp acceleration could have been included in lieu of the drag strip.

It’s the engine light car company according to my kids….. it will be in restricted performance mode soon enough with the engine light on….and JLR will not help. There is a good reason their sales are down 30% (major lack of return buyers…. Screwing owners only works for so long)

Traditionally, Range Rover was the luxury brand while Land Rover wasn't. I struggle to see the modern Land Rover as a luxury brand on the cabins they currently have.
Great review and I'd love one but you're a little tricker-that was not appreciated.
And no leather seats. Why?
Perhaps because of its performance skew, Land Rover has decided to use Alcantara in the Defender V8. It looks and feels pretty plush - but if you'd prefer leather it's available as a no-cost option.

Looks awesome but a nightmare to own, belongs in the city, close to a dealer, it will spend a lot of time there. What a stupid review.
A very expensive rattle trap and no help from JLR , they won’t even talk to you never mind fix it or take it back, a heap of s……t
