REEEEEEva just shrugged it off, took a bacta pill and was fine in the morning. \ Logically if you follow Sabine's survival through Qui Gon should have survived as well. I was referring to 'brute forcing', a tactic involving trying every combination without any knowledge of how the puzzle works, clues, or whatnot. I didn't know "stoic" meant just constantly having a scowl on your face AT ALL TIMES. Excellent character direction and facial acting from the directors and actors.
My man... did you forget about spider maul ? And even then, the stab was in the intestine and she received medical attention immediately (different from what happened in the kenobi show)
@@raulgobato417my understanding was that George Lucas hated that they brought Maul back. I thought Spider Maul wast pretty cool looking though and did like how Maul finally met his end. But it does go to show the newer writers do not have the talent to create new characters.

Reva and the grandinquisitors surviving is a fucking hatecrime tho.
"I'm a general. Nothing is classified to me" Well, the writer just showed they don't understand how Military Intelligence (or any form of intelligence) works. I think your montage of lightsaber impalements and "recoveries" featuring Ryan George's iconic "it was barely an inconvenience" meme was hysterical while remaining totally on point. My compliments to the chef.
There is nothing I hate more about this show than how they've changed Ahsoka's character to the point that she's unrecognizable. In the clone wars, her character develops a lot, going from a arrogant and naive padawan to a capable and dependable leader with a more mature understanding of the world. BUT, even if she changed a lot, her core character remained the same. Ahsoka always cared too much. Once she believed in something, very little could be done to change that and only those she truly respected and cared for could influence her. Ahsoka could easily be described as impulsive, stubborn, and impatient. She is also very compassionate (often to a fault), extremely intelligent, incredibly resourceful, and able to consistently make good judgement calls. Ahsoka in the animated series demanded attention while she was on screen because her core character traits often put her at odds with the rigid structure of the world, and interesting conflict often resulted from it. This Ahsoka in the live action is just boring. She has none of the personality of the old one, none of the sarcastic remarks, none of the overt compassion, essentially just nothing that makes the character who she is. She's just stoick and uncaring of the world around her. Some might argue that she's changed due to her age but I disagree. She already had two major time skips in both the clone wars and rebels in which she aged and changed, but the key parts of her character remained the same. The live action completely fails to do justice to her character.
It's crazy that you know the character better than the person who created her... You should try to reach out to Filoni and give him some pointers on her...
@@Psyfi85 well they had to establish something. And don't you think it makes sense for ahsoka to spend time on her Padawan like we did with her and Anakin in the Clone wars

Loooool this exact comment sums up to the toxic Star Wars Fandom. You can remember every bit of cannon, but conveintly forget about how much fans absolute shit on Hayden in the Prequels for his acting.
That kind of heat and light would burn your cornea, the hilt, and your skin. Are you starting to see the problem with trying to attribute realism to lightsabers?
@@akogunkelvin1476 Man, where were all of you when Starkiller got it through the back and thrown out into space, and was just fine. Or what about Kyle Katarn. Mace Windu. The untreated burn victim Darth Vader. Would you like me to go on. I have plenty of examples of old EU Star Wars characters surviving things they shouldn’t. There are plenty of things about this show to criticize. Trying to criticize Disney by using a problem that’s existed in Star Wars long before Disney bought it, is probably not the path to go down.
@@goffokfm6821 Exactly. In the same movie it 'melted through blast doors' Qui-Gon was also able to survive for several minutes with his apparently melted internal organs. There's a lot of things to criticise from modern day Disney (not just the Lucasfilm stuff, either) but the degree of desperate exaggeration that people pretend is 'fact' or 'logic' when it amounts to cherrypicking a lot of the time, is really depressing from the point of view of making coherent arguments. Anyone have a problem with Luke's plot armor in ANH or ESB, or his force kick in ROTJ? Nope, that doesn't count....
@@goffokfm6821No. Kyber crystals envelope the "blade" in a Force sheathe that controls the ambient heat, only bypassing this mechanism when said blade passes through a material. I.e. being stabbed and/or slashed with it. In universe, you could hold the blade an inch away from someone's face, and it wouldn't do anything. It's a lance of pure plasma that tempered by space magic voodoo to make it more controllable to the user. Otherwise, it would be a horrendously ineffectual weapon. I'm not even a SW fan, and I know this. Why are you attempting to ship for Disney? Being stabbed in the gut with a lightsaber has always been a death sentence in the franchise. You got a superheated plasma blade concentrated in one narrow strip causing a localized steam explosion in your internal organs. It's why all the protagonists were never stabbed with a lightsaber. Even their plot armor wouldn't help with that. Next you'll try to justify Disney bringing back characters that were beheaded with lightsabers.
I distinctly remember in 2012 being off-put at the idea of Disney owning Star Wars. I couldn't put my finger on why at the time, but I thought it didn't make sense (and didn't feel right) to have the Walt Disney company be put in charge of the franchise and making creative decisions regarding it, and my worst fears were confirmed with the announcement that the Expanded Universe was basically canceled.
All right, this "I knew it was gonna turn out bad from the very beginning; I'm so much smarter than everyone!" is getting kinda cringe-inducing to read every time someone makes a new video about Star Wars. I distinctly remember almost _everyone_ praising the 2015 Star Wars movie in the weeks after it came out; people said their entire theater stood up and cheered at the end; people saying they had tears in their eyes because "After the disastrous prequel trilogy almost ruined Star Wars, we _finally_ have a good Star Wars movie!" Fans were even mocking Lucas when he publicly said the new film "didn't do anything original" by saying things like "Not enough pointless aliens firing off blasters in the background for your liking, eh George?" Let's just admit we were wrong and stop pretending we were all on one side and Disney was on the other from the beginning, because that's certainly not how I remember it. The heated criticism only started after the second movie, and then suddenly everyone started acting like they were _never_ fans of the first one. Suuuure.
Haha! I absolutely love your work.! The Force is Female was always an easily predictable fail. The Force wasn’t male.. it was just the Force. I’m so so tired of these agendas. It literally ruins everything.
I am really not understand this critics to the show (specially after watching clone wars and rebels). We literally have Baylan Skoll as a fallen jedi (and Master of Shin hati), the slow pace IS a core aspect of Star Wars, and Ahsoka/Sabine conflicts can be based on rebels (hidden potential in Sabine to use the force). People talk about agendas and they start to see it everywhere
Did you expect Ahsoka to undergo a sex change or something? Like what criticism is this even? Out of the mixed gender rebel cast 1 male is dead and 1 male is missing, gee wonder why we have 3 females left? So weird, must be an agenda................
@@raulgobato417 I personally don’t mind a slow pace when it leads somewhere. But I wasn’t criticizing this show in particular. My issue is with Disney Star Wars in general. But if anyone would say there hasn’t been any obvious agenda in Disney Star Wars then that would be ridiculous.

To be fair, crossing her arms was something she did often back in the Clone Wars. It was something of a habit she had. However, the lack of emotion, definitely not so much.
It can easily be said that her experiences throughout the clone wars and the rule of the empire developed her into this character, but without us seeing that or having something to have such well established, it will just feel like her character was auto-swapped with another personality. It's not a complete deviation from her original self, and compliments her quite well, but, there are its flaws.

Why did Sabine bailed on a ceremony honoring the sacrifices of her friends? 6. Since when is Morgan a Witch of Dathomir? She certainly wasn't in the second season of Mando. 7. Since when do the Witches of Dathomir expand on other planets? They seemed content to rule over Dathomir only before. 8. Which previously genocided group will have the most survivors in 5 years, the Jedi or the Witches? 9. Was Huyang, a droid who as was shown in the show is able to recognize patterns, truly unable to find the key to open the orb from the scan of the temple? 10. Why was the key to open the orb drawn with the layout of the temple in the first place? Isn't that thing locked for a reason? 11. What the fuck is the New Republic doing once again? Even if they believe Thrawn to be dead, couldn't Hera at least mobilize a few of her own forces since, you know, SHE'S A GENERAL. 12. Why did the droid stick around in Sabine's apartment when it could have either fucked off to the savanna or simply blown itself up since its mission was accomplished? 13. Why was the manufacturer indicated in its memory? We know from previous SW content such as Kotor that assassin droid, especially the HK ones, do NOT have such things in their memories. It's Assassin 101. 14. Why was an assassin droid manufactured on Corellia, in a ship yard? 15. Why did Hera felt the need to describe Corellia as ''the New Republic ship yard" when it's a very well-known place in the SW universe, just as much as New York, Paris or Tokyo in ours? I'm sure we could find dozens more of plot holes. Unfortunately, I'm not an eldritch god, I lack the strength.
I haven't thought about anything Star Wars in a positive light for quite a while, so I thought I'd have some fun with this. Don't take any of my explanations as being an endorsement of any of the social or political messages which seem to be forming in this and other Disney related media. 1. Why does a thousand years old map shows the location of Thrawn? At least so far it shows the location of a gateway to a distant galaxy where Thrawn is rumored to be. I don't think it's supposed to be an ancient Thrawn GPS. 2. How does Thrawn communicate to Morgan through the Force despite not being a Force user himself? Perhaps this has something to do with Ezra. Maybe he's using the Imperial search for a new leader to hitch a ride home. 3. Can the Force actually transmit messages from galaxies to galaxies now? I would assume the Force can connect minds across anywhere in the universe at will. Physical distance does not matter in the mind. 4. What happened to Hera's kid? Where are Kallus and Zeb? Hopefully these questions will have meaningful and satisfactory answers in the show. 5. Why did Sabine bailed on a ceremony honoring the sacrifices of her friends? She said it in the show, because not all of the people being honored were there and she was visibly sad about that. 6. Since when is Morgan a Witch of Dathomir? She certainly wasn't in the second season of Mando. Maybe she was all along, or maybe they retconned it because they liked working with the actress. 7. Since when do the Witches of Dathomir expand on other planets? They seemed content to rule over Dathomir only before. They said this was centuries ago, so they may have suffered great losses in the past which led to them being content to remain on Dathomir. 8. Which previously genocided group will have the most survivors in 5 years, the Jedi or the Witches? The Jedi Witches of course. 9. Was Huyang, a droid who as was shown in the show is able to recognize patterns, truly unable to find the key to open the orb from the scan of the temple? Droids focus on symbols. They lack inspirational thinking. 10. Why was the key to open the orb drawn with the layout of the temple in the first place? Isn't that thing locked for a reason? They assumed it was "locked" because they didn't fully understand it, but it may have just been misaligned due to someone who used it previously. 11. What the fuck is the New Republic doing once again? Even if they believe Thrawn to be dead, couldn't Hera at least mobilize a few of her own forces since, you know, SHE'S A GENERAL. The New Republic seems very dysfunctional as an organization. I think they took the name of the Republic to give themselves an air of credibility, but it is being proven over and over again that the Republic is truly gone and what remains is merely Republic in name only. 12. Why did the droid stick around in Sabine's apartment when it could have either fucked off to the savanna or simply blown itself up since its mission was accomplished? At this point in time this seems like a plot convenience, but maybe we'll see something else in the future. 13. Why was the manufacturer indicated in its memory? We know from previous SW content such as Kotor that assassin droid, especially the HK ones, do NOT have such things in their memories. It's Assassin 101. I don't think they said it was the manufacturer, just the droids point of origin for that mission. 14. Why was an assassin droid manufactured on Corellia, in a ship yard? Again I don't think it was manufactured on Corellia, just repurposed there. 15. Why did Hera felt the need to describe Corellia as ''the New Republic ship yard" when it's a very well-known place in the SW universe, just as much as New York, Paris or Tokyo in ours? Did she call Corellia that or did she refer to a specific place on Corellia as the New Republic ship Yard?
1. It shows lots of locations, not just thrawns. 2. Dathomir witch magic is wack yo. 3. Dunno if witch magic is the force. 4. Hasn't been brought up yet, could be in school? No idea about kallus, but zeb is flying x wings for the new republic. 5. Depressed? Anxious public speaker? Didn't want to be the center of attention? Didn't want to be a poster girl? Take your pick there are plenty of reasons. 6. Sometimes people conceal their identities, especially when they are committing ecocide. It can be smart to hold your cards close to the chest. 7. The witches ancestors, it was implied. So long time ago. 8. Jedi 9. Lightsaber patterns from memory sure. Was he ever shown as being really good at maps? 10. Probably worked better in ancient times. 11. That's not typically how militaries work in a Republic... 12. To assassinate 13. That's usually why they self destruct. 14. Cause it was done under the table by imperials in hiding. 15. Could have just been thinking out loud due to surprise, if someone said something shocking about Washington DC someone might follow up with, the capital??
Once they find Thrawn, they will send a fleet of space bombers to destroy his capital ship. Only the bombers with male pilots are shot down in the process. The female pilots drop their bomb loads killing Thrawn and expose his more evil twin sister who vows revenge on the Republic.
That's the kind of fan service I'm ready for. As opposed to Vadee walking up to Kenobi in the desert and saying, "So you have come to destroy me?" This Asoka show just made it so the Rebels are entirely idiots, and took over the Empire bases and factories but allowed Imperial loyalists to continue to work there. No wonder in 30 years they lost the plot despite defeating Palpatine the first time.
I will grudgingly give them the "let imperial people keep working" because of better stories like rouruni kenshin. For those who don't know what it is, kenshin is set just after Japan's bloody civil war, and the eponymous character is jaded inf disillusioned in part because he fought and bled and killed to change the world, only to discover that many of those people are still exactly where they were before because they're the only ones that can make the wheels turn.
Honestly, how should women act. Like emotional crybabies who need a man to save them? I'm not being cheeky. I really want to know how people in this audience except women to act. Give me a few lines of dialogue. I'm curious.
@@RiceDaddy07 Women should act as women. Women wield powers and skills unique to womanhood. This show, like many others Disney defecates, simply transposes male mannerisms and masculine affectations on top of female protagonist roles, effectively confusing these characters and undermining womanhood itself. If I want an apple, give me an apple. Not a genetically engineered orange feigning to be an apple. And then incredulously ask when everyone is revolted by this latest Monsanto monstrosity, “well how should orange behave then?” Like an orange. Nothing is wrong with an orange. The apple is not better than an orange. And the orange is not better than the apple. Violent women can make sense and with incredible dramatic effect. But stripping women of their womanhood and portraying them as essentially masculine and manly, while all the males behave uncharacteristically incompetent, villainous and cowardly immediately exposes this racist and sexist plot. Why should the orange impersonate an apple? It should be the orange it is. Orange shouldn’t be Red. An orange shouldn’t be crunchy. That’s an apple’s attributes. An apple will always “out-apple” an orange. Let the the orange be the orange it is-we need oranges. We’d die without oranges. We’re not gaining anything by morphing women into men. In doing so, we altogether only lose the intrinsic majesty that is womanhood. And who will perform this essential role of womanhood? Let me guess, men will be the women now? The apples will become the oranges? Disney is hurting young girls. It’s teaching them that they are too emotional and that they should adopt violence early. Young girls will only feel inadequate and profoundly disconnected and utterly alienated from these absurd female roles. And they hurt young girls a second time by telling them that they don’t need men in any cooperative sense. They do. Women are a protected class in any functioning culture. Women can be women because violent men stand at the ready to protect their rights. Their fathers are their first protector, then their brothers, then their husbands and then their sons. Why is Disney damaging and disillusioning young girls and boys? This isn’t entertainment anymore. This is depraved psychological violence. This is Disney.
Just out of morbid curiosity, I wonder how long it's going to take for it to become financially impossible for Disney to keep putting out content that their audience doesn't want.
I wonder the same thing - with an extra point. Will they address/realise the fact that they haven't been writing good stories (I mean... There are a thousand videos explaining why the story isn't working) or... will they shrug and say "well, we didn't do anything wrong. I guess people are just racist/sexist. That's it. THAT'S the reason!"
@@キラキラくりくり頭 Yes. The extremely strange thing about this is that if that is how they think and this is their worldview, why don't they make the material for racist/sexist people? They are hemorrhaging money on all fronts from the parks to the traditional (snow white) to marvel, to star wars. My concern is that Ahsoka will renew interest and keep them afloat, having them change jussssttttt enough to keep making money (but start slowly pushing their narrative again). I've come to the conclusion that Star Wars is, in fact, no longer for me. The OG trilogy was such a huge part of my childhood. It's a bummer that every new show seems to be made by people who actually hate me for some reason I can't explain, but that realization really has helped me to just accept that it's all about "the message" now. I did like Andor though.
I hold exactly the same sentiment and also loved Andor. At least they can never take the OT from us. The Disney era has been so bad that it's even made me reassess the prequels: admittedly bad, but at least they are still George's visions.
Do they really have no ideas beyond McGuffin that lead to maps that lead to some hidden person? How many times do they think they can get away with this?
And don't forget we were supposed to get a Visceral games Boba Fett game "Star Wars 1313" led by Amy Henning which was pretty far along in development when it got shitcanned by the Disney takeover.
That shot of Carrie Fischer, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford had me in tears. They would never share the stage again, and I’m gutted. Disney wasted that momentous opportunity and deserve to waste away alongside the memories of the heroes they discarded!
A sleight none of us will forget. We're bankrupting the shit out of them. Don't fuck with nerds smh. I cannot wait for the sale and acquisition. I'm going to pour money into someone's stocks. Whoever grabs these IPs arnt gonna FUCK them up. Smh
All we wanted was to see an older, wiser Han and Leia backed against the wall still trying to save the galaxy, and for Luke's Theme to kick in as the hope unlooked for arrives. That was all they had to do!
The worst part is, they know that they are hated and that everything they make is failing. But they don't care because one, they are selling Star Wars and mostly, Disney heads have admitted that they care more about politics than the stories. They are on record saying that they won't work with anyone that doesn't think like they do (super woke). They admit it. LOL.
10:52 - In her defense, it does make a lot of sense to kill a witness who can potentially alert authorities or give your description to them making your escape very hard and unlikely. So it was a logical move on her part to try and kill Sabine, but little did she know that Sabine had a Tier 6 plot armor.
Uhm, no. If she hadnt waited for Sabine to come down, Sabine couldnt give a desciption of her to anyone, all Sabine could have report was that she was attacked by droids. And she also left the destroyed droids behind, wich this time didnt had self destructions devices that could destroy a super star destroyer.
@@wolf310ii the problem with your logic is that it assumes that Sabine would be alive to give a description, which was not part of the plan. I don't think she waited for Sabine to come down, she waited for the droid to give her the thing and then Sabine arrived + She probably was there also in case if the droid failed and are destroyed somehow and yes it still makes sense to not start running and have Sabine on your tail, but instead kill her and leave without worrying about anyone chasing you. Sabine reporting that she was attacked by the droids who stole a very important McGuffin from her could really make things a lot more troublesome for Shin. Also, Ahsoka would also now be able to chase Shin instead of getting help for Sabine. All in all, it makes sense to kill Sabine. It is baffling though that droids can be traced to the factory they were made in, I mean if you are making assassin droids you might as well do the thing where you erase their serial number or indeed make them self-destruct or something.
@@NoName-ym5zj Rewatch it, she waited and she had to wait pretty long. Droid with ball goes in the (only) elevator, sabines knocks on the door, runs back inside to get her lightsaber, stares on it, has to wait offscreen for the elevator to come back up and go down with the elevator. And Blondie waits and waits and waits, just to tell Sabine that the ball is what they wanted and to give the ball back to the droid. Sabine nor Ashoka would even know that Blondie was there if she just left as soon as the droid came out of the elevator. And Ashoka already knew that droids wanted the ball, she was attacked too, remember? The only difference was, this time the droids didnt blow up half the planet, risking to destroy the ball.
@@wolf310ii it doesn't sound like she waited that long, besides she didn't know if Sabine had figured out the map, so that's another reason to kill her and I can hardly see how she'd be able to get away without a chase when Sabine lives in a middle of the desert, so a speeder driving away would probably be noticeable, although actually we have no clue how she got away, for all we know she just ... ran really fast lol. All I am saying is that there's a lot of incentive to kill Sabine, after all from Shin's point of view they are in the middle of the desert and no one is coming, so why not keep it that way instead of allowing Sabine to potentially alert authorities and again give chase to her? Don't get me wrong, this whole thing is poorly done, but there are a lot of reasons why you'd want to stick around to kill Sabine before leaving. Unless Shin can teleport. Also just rewatched that scene and I noticed she gave the map to the droid who left when he realized a ship was approaching. Also people sometimes do irrational things and Shin is KINDA a sith, not really, but come on ... Maybe she was impressed killer droids couldn't take out Sabine and wanted to fight, she is a warrior after all. You can argue it's stupid and endagernous the mission, but it's not like people don't do irrational things out of spite, ego or anger etc.
@@NoName-ym5zj If she wanted so badly kill Sabine, she could simply come up with the droids. And Sabine did alert the "authorities" when she missed the elevator. So all your point are invalid. Waiting for Sabine just blow up their cover. Waiting didnt keep Sabine from calling Ashoka and the green Twilek. And fighting with Sabine also give the "authorities" more time to arrive at the scene, making it even harder to escape unnoticed.
Bravo Gary and the editing team. This video was class! Production level A! I can't imagine how many hours of work goes into this for a 20 minute video. Way more entertaining than watching an episode of a TV series.

This is pretty much the only time where it _is_ excusable for Sabine to survive, due to the stab wound being to the side and Sabine getting immediate medical attention. It's a shame that it happens after _several_ people survive stab wounds.
@@Jackson-ub1uv With the way the blade was left in for a couple seconds and moved around, she'd have an exit wound a foot long on her back, and her boiling internal organs should have burst out.
Hmmm...if Qui Gonn can use a lightsaber to cut through a blast door in the Phantom Menace, it would be save to say that the lightsaber strike that Sabine suffered would have vaporized her liver, gallbladder and a good part of her large and small intestines. While the saber would likely cauterize any bleeding, it would likely set off a severe clotting cascade of area blood vessels, never mind going into severe shock from all the boiled and clotted blood. And just ask Mickey Mantle how well you can live without your liver.
I cannot believe that Disney turned the Lightsaber - one of the most powerful individual weapons in the Star Wars Universe, into a taser. Is Disney at this point purposefully trying to lose money?
There’s an ample difference in a glancing wound or even a limb chopped off (and subsequently getting cybernetic replacements) than getting impailed through the chest. At least with Darth Maul surviving getting bisected and Anakin surviving 3 missing limbs and third degree burns can be attributed to the power of the dark side sustaining them, but still are left physical and mental wrecks until some extensive care is administered. These others who are back on their feet like nothing happened? What’s their excuse?

the Sabine character gave me immediate "I am a strong independant female lead with a big ego and not caring about others" after 10min, when she refused to show up at the celebration.
I was a bit puzzled by this and what it should express about Sabine. Because it was enormously insolent towards the gathered people there, the gouvernment officials and to the legacy of those people who fought and died for the rebellion. And she was even smug about it. What a likeable character we have there....
Unpopular opinion: Ahsoka should have died on Malachor. As much as it pains me to say it because Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters in all of fiction, it was the perfect ending to her character arc. Her choice to honor the teachings of her friends and former Jedi teachers by both saving Ezra and Kanan while refusing to leave Anakin, regardless of all the atrocities he committed up to that point, shows the completion of her journey as a true Jedi despite claiming not to be a Jedi. Furthermore, it confirms what George said was true: as hard as Obi-Wan, his brother and master, and Ahsoka, his sister and student, tried, the only person who could save him was his son, Luke.
Another gripe I have about these light saber impaling's that people keep surviving is that the weapon can EFFORTLESSLY slice through a person; So when someone gets stabbed like that, how awfully nice it is for the attacker to gently keep the blade straight instead of just nonchalantly moving their wrist to jerk the blade out the side of the person.
also it's not just a "hot sword" like they seem to think... it's literally superheated plasma that would make the internal organs explode instantly on contact due to being superheated by the blade's mere presence next to organic matter. Snoke's death may have been really stupid and cringe, but at least it showed how easy a lightsaber can cut through a person. Same with Darth Maul... But in Disney Star Wars a lightsaber to the chest/side/gut is just a mere flesh wound that can be healed with a bandaid and a kiss from mommy.
You not gonna mention Qui gon was stabbed by Maul in the stomach and waited for Kenobi to chop Maul in half to tell Kenobi the boy must be trained he's the chosen one and then he died.
I suppose the rationale is that a light saber, being a light beam of intense heat and temperature, cauterizes the wound so their blood doesn't leak out, and the intestines are able to grow back together quickly. Anatomically the Vena Cava is near this side of the spine at the back of the gut cavity. Historical note: Oswald, Pres. Kennedy's assassin, was killed later by a single bullet traversing his gut FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER, because he twisted, trying to get away from the gun shot, while held by both arms by deputies. Bad luck that. A simple gut shot (like these saber stabs) going from the front to the back would have been extremely easy to survive, just a gut patch and sewing up what was nicked or penetrated inside. BUT, the side to side bullet cut both his Vena Cava (blood return channel) and the Primary Artery to the guts and legs below. This drained him of blood, which they desperately tried to refill as they tried to sew up his severed vena cava and major artery. I talked to the surgeon who did it, who also was the emergency room doctor for Pres Kennedy. Weird huh? But very true.
@@NateTheScot no not how the lightsaber wound or it's healing process works. A lightsaber stab or cut cauterizes everything it touches the shield keeps 60% of extraneous heat in the saber unless turned off. most wounds that are in non vital area's can just use pre existing genetic material to repair damage, scar optional to a degree.
To them, it's always about self-insert power fantasies where their Mary Sue is born with all the skills they need to fight men who trained in the same art their entire lives.

Hey hey now, rogue one is the best thing Disney has done so far. Let’s not get crazy here 😢
There is nothing I hate more about this show than how they've changed Ahsoka's character to the point that she's unrecognizable.

And now ya know

You were all like "I've got a bad feeling about this".
You wouldn't let Roddenberry write Star Wars. You wouldn't let Lucas write Star Trek. Why would you let Abrahms write both?
All right, this "I knew it was gonna turn out bad from the very beginning; I'm so much smarter than everyone!" is getting kinda cringe-inducing to read every time someone makes a new video about Star Wars.
I distinctly remember almost _everyone_ praising the 2015 Star Wars movie in the weeks after it came out; people said their entire theater stood up and cheered at the end; people saying they had tears in their eyes because "After the disastrous prequel trilogy almost ruined Star Wars, we _finally_ have a good Star Wars movie!" Fans were even mocking Lucas when he publicly said the new film "didn't do anything original" by saying things like "Not enough pointless aliens firing off blasters in the background for your liking, eh George?"
Let's just admit we were wrong and stop pretending we were all on one side and Disney was on the other from the beginning, because that's certainly not how I remember it. The heated criticism only started after the second movie, and then suddenly everyone started acting like they were _never_ fans of the first one. Suuuure.

And then incredulously ask when everyone is revolted by this latest Monsanto monstrosity, “well how should orange behave then?”
Like an orange.

The most you can say that the original Star Wars was "influenced by politics" is that it is a political allegory, but even that is completely up to interpretation. What Disney is doing now is totally on the nose and extremely blatant

If it is hot enough to melt armored steel, it would also set her on fire.
Qui-Gon died the exact same way via Darth Maul, a light saber gut shot... Not sure why Qui-Gon died but Sabine lived......

I cannot believe that Disney turned the Lightsaber - one of the most powerful individual weapons in the Star Wars Universe, into a taser.
Is Disney at this point purposefully trying to lose money?
Almost all characters in star wars has been hit by a lightsaber and lived to tell

@@davidobrien2841literally the only thing I've liked besides season one and two of the Mandalorian.
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
the Sabine character gave me immediate "I am a strong independant female lead with a big ego and not caring about others" after 10min, when she refused to show up at the celebration.
I was a bit puzzled by this and what it should express about Sabine. Because it was enormously insolent towards the gathered people there, the gouvernment officials and to the legacy of those people who fought and died for the rebellion.
And she was even smug about it. What a likeable character we have there....
So like very strong headed young character in fiction
Sabine is like that since Rebels. It's consistent to her character. You clearly have never watched Rebels.
I stopped watching around that time. Seen enough girl boss tropes to last a lifetime.
If you watched rebels you would understand that her character has always been like this.
Her clothes should have caught fire.
Kathleen Kennedy wanted to show that women could make good entertainment. All she has done is to prove that they can't!
To them, it's always about self-insert power fantasies where their Mary Sue is born with all the skills they need to fight men who trained in the same art their entire lives.
At the very least, Kathleen is incapable of making good entertainment.
Imagine a female president. My God.
I think they can, lots of great books are written by women. It's just that Disney keeps on hiring the worst of them based on their twitter posts.

What makes the gut-stab recap funnier is it's happened so many times there's actually one missing. Reva got stabbed in the gut twice and lived both times. Once when she was a child and once when she was an adult. DSW should just rebrand their shows to parodies already, they'd be more successful.
