True but the lesson learnt from this flashback or whatever was already done in the clone wars. The whole giving up thing was out of nowhere when you look at her whole live action appearances.
Honestly the argument about sabine getting stabbed could have been totally avoided too just do what dooku did to KENOBI in attack of the clones hit the sides of the legs and arms and render her immobile then before shin can land the killing blow ahsoka shows up and shin decides to leave there problem solved no need for stabbing
The issue is why tf was she out there with the thingy in the first place? Why did Ahsoka just let her take it and leave after the last place it was at BLEW UP by assassin droids? Why did she not immediately chase after her? The stupid goes far back and forward from the stupid stabbing
With this whole show being little more than "Look, the character you recognize! Clap for us!", I think the funniest example of this is the one dude getting so excited whenever Mon Mothma shows up on screen. The one character they didn't expect any claps for.
I had the thought the other day that because Thrawn went to Dathomir he could find Taron Malicos. Because remember when Merrin pulled him into the floor she said “Let him lie in the dark with his secrets. Until death takes him.” I’d say thats reason to believe that he isn’t dead at this time in the story. Thrawn and him team up to kick start the Heir to the Empire story. Just instead of Jorus c'baoth, it’s taron Malicos. And I just looked at drawings of Jorus and Malicos, they look pretty similar to each other. 26:13
You forgot the second u in Joruus C'Baoth. It actually is an important detail because apparently that's how clones were set apart from the original. I know it's silly, but it's what's written.
Seriously. People went crazy over it and rate it so highly and I just don't get it. All it was was nostalgia without even giving a single insight into Anakin's post-ROTJ character since everything was so cryptic. Thankfully I found episodes 6-8 much more enjoyable. Thrawn's introduction, Baylan and Shin, and to a lesser extent, Sabine and Ezra's dynamic were all way more fun to watch than the Hayden and Rosario fog machine show.
@@SparksOnProgramwhy would they give insight on Anakin when it wasn't about him? It was about HIS apprentice, it was about giving her one last lesson. 🤦
although andor has kinda ruined other star wars shows for me because other than s2 i know nothing will ever be as good again and now i've kinda lost interest in them
The only thing that I would give for Non-Force Sensitives becoming "force sensitive" is what they did in Rogue One, where Chirrut, who is not force sensitive, through intense decade long training and philosophy, has some level of connection to the force (mostly reflexes and some compensation for his blindness). as the force connects everyone, it makes sense that people without it naturally could gain SOME level. But they should NEVER be able to reach the level of a Jedi. Or even a Youngling.
@@AAhmou KotoR 2 still goes really hard. Kreia's character and ideas are what Disney wished they could write. Baylon sounded like he was going there but I have 0 faith that Disney could pull that off even if they wanted to.
It's ironic because Star Wars was plagued with nostalgic baiting far before Disney took over. But people won't admit it because of nostalgia Bringing the passive OT Yoda in AOTC to have an epic duel with Dooku for no reason just cause? Nostalgic fanservice. Bringing Maul back after TPM? Nostalgic Fanservice. The only reason people tend to forgive that is because he managed to bring alot to Star Wars. Which isn't an excuse for the fanservice they did by ressurecting him in the first place. Not to mention it literally brought up ratings for the Clone Wars so it did that. Sidious coming back in canon and Legends? Fanservice
@@willisstillhere8846 As much as I hated maul’s resurrection it brought a great story through all his shows he appeared in (still should’ve stayed dead imo) vs Boba who was brought back and did nothing in his own show. I think that’s the difference between the two ways of nostalgia fanservice.
@@willisstillhere8846 The difference is that they actually bring something to the story, and you forget that Yoda's appearance was coming from a future time period, so it makes sense that he would be part of the Jedi council, and thus an essential part of the prequels. Plus Maul had basically no character and only a couple appearances in TPM so bringing him back isn't really nostalgia bait. It's a big difference compared to having Anakin and Rex show up functionally bringing nothing to the table. I didn't feel any sort of expansion to Ahsoka's character because of their appearances, and in all honesty the complexity of Ahsoka has just gone downhill after S7 of clone wars. That last episode in season 7 completely sealed the deal on her being one of the best character in star wars, but the live action Ahsoka appearances just oversaturates her character. At least in Kenobi we got the bridge between prequels Kenobi and originals Kenobi. It explained how Kenobi figured out Anakin is still alive and how their relationship was resolved. Even though that show kinda sucked. I agree there were times when there was nostalgia baiting in the prequels but it's nothing compared to the pure unfiltered nostalgia bait that Disney and Filoni keeps shoving in our faces nowadays. Honestly with every show that comes out I wonder who the hell was writing Rebels and TCW if it wasn't mostly Filoni. Those are masterpieces in storytelling, if you disregard the hiccups in the early seasons of TCW and the childish jokes in the early seasons of Rebels. Like the Umbara arc, when will we ever get anything close to that in the future. Or more importantly, arcs like Slaves of the Republic, to this day there has been no content that has been able to add depth to Anakin's character than that arc outside of other clone wars content, even Kenobi falls short.
R.I.P. Ray Stevenson. He LITERALLY carried the show on his back but it was SO bad that even he couldn't save it. Much like Ian McDiarmind wasn't able to save Episode 9.
Only Zanny and the boys could make this series more entertaining by simply watching it while having their usual, very insightful conversations. Keep bringing up these videos - highly appreciated!

We're we supposed to interpret that as near death?? We had just watched sabine get impaled with a lightsaber like it was a minor inconvenience. So falling off a cliff into water shouldn't be an issue for someone as powerful as ahsoka lol
One thing I wanna mention is Rebels has hinted at Sabine being somewhat force sensitive, they played the force theme for scenes of her picking up the Darksaber, and she heard voices through the force when being transported by the Loth-wolves. The Bendu is also a being who we see only remark and interact with force-sensitives, and he's seen looking back to Sabine after she's walked away, an act he wouldn't do without reason or thought. There's even a scene where Kanan elaborates to Hera that she could use the force but her Mandalorian-ness is blocking it, and that not everyone is open to it.
Ok no disrespect to you but 1. Them playing a theme doesn’t justify or validate her being force sensitive 2. All of them heard the voices not just her, they literally were teleporting through the force 3. That’s wrong because bendu interacted with thrawn and he’s not force sensitive and plus it doesn’t just interact with pure force sensitives. It talked with kanan because it knew his conflict with his past and current blindness
zanny realized that we don't watch him for the games that he plays but because of him. I think he realized this ever since he stopped playing for honor
This reminds me of the endgame video way back in 2019 but more refined in most ways, wouldn't mund seeing more reaction content from you and the zanclan 😂
Everyone has always had the Force. George Lucas has said that since the 80s. It's always been the way Ahsoka describes, some have natural talent, some have to learn to use it. Not sure why people take offense to it now. But yeah lightsabers are glorified police batons nowadays. Love this format Zanny. I want MORE!!!!!
Think it mainly has to do with how unnecessary Sabine having the force feels. Like why make her force sensitive? She was already fine before and if they needed an excuse for Ahsoka to train her they could’ve just made it so Sabine wanted to learn more about using a lightsaber since she had Ezra’s.
Nope . There are 2 kinda of force . Living force , imbibed in particular living things and other ones name I can't recall rn , which is present in all of the galaxy . That binds us together , in yodas terms .
The force being in all things doesn't mean everyone can perform space magic. Han Solo doesn't ever display any sort of control over the force, despite the force clearly using him to aid luke. Even Obi Wan hints at this in episode 1 "In my experience, it's never just luck" Another great example is Chirrut in Rogue One.
Ahh can’t wait till thrawn in season 2 becomes a force sensitive Sith Lord because the night sisters told him to feel the force 💀 Disney are loosing it
I know it’s been months but I gotta get in on this haha It’s not “everyone always had the force” that bugs us, it’s more so that a character can go from (next to) nothing, to being a Jedi…especially when it was never even remotely hinted at before…Sabine may have trained with a lightsaber before but that’s cuz she was already a young _warrior_ in training and had the darksaber. How about the fact that she’s taking on this ex-Jedi with no problem now (like yeah she lost the first time but like 2 days later she wins??)

OMG even the young actress for Ahsoka is so much better than the others 🤣 How did she get so much WORSEwith time!
In fact, he's better at it than most. Even Ewan Mcgregor can't cope with the new heavy lightsaber prop, him in Kenobi looked slow compared to Hayden.

But this is the Clone wars !
Zanny with a serious voice : i don't think this is cheap fan service, cause Clone wars is important for Ahsoka .
Truly a moment.😂
* Certified Fan badge *
He’s not wrong though. Like 90% of Ahsoka’s character development happened during the clone wars.
True but the lesson learnt from this flashback or whatever was already done in the clone wars. The whole giving up thing was out of nowhere when you look at her whole live action appearances.
@@R-A-9she was already ahsoka the white at the end of rebels.

No we don't. This shit sucks. Zanny needs to get off EFAP's fucking nuts.
The actor who played Baylon has sadly passed away. IMO one of, if not the best, played character of the series.

That Lemongrab scream at 8:35 sums up my reaction to seeing Anakin perfectly lmaoo
"youre stuck in me skyguy" battle front 2 flashbacks hit hard bruh
Honestly the argument about sabine getting stabbed could have been totally avoided too just do what dooku did to KENOBI in attack of the clones hit the sides of the legs and arms and render her immobile then before shin can land the killing blow ahsoka shows up and shin decides to leave there problem solved no need for stabbing
So many ways go have her lose.
And filoni went with a fakeout death.....on the first episode.
😂😂 blew his load on the first stroke. Cmon Dave.
The issue is why tf was she out there with the thingy in the first place? Why did Ahsoka just let her take it and leave after the last place it was at BLEW UP by assassin droids? Why did she not immediately chase after her? The stupid goes far back and forward from the stupid stabbing
Seeing zanny and friends react to all of the show was amazing, def would watch more like this
With this whole show being little more than "Look, the character you recognize! Clap for us!", I think the funniest example of this is the one dude getting so excited whenever Mon Mothma shows up on screen. The one character they didn't expect any claps for.
I CLAPPED! I CLAPPED WHEN I SAW IT!
All cause of Andor
Hayden brought back the real lightsaber fighting to star wars. Nobody compares
More of this please. The show reaction is kinda cool

You mean, clone Malicos?
Glad you guys didn’t immediately adore Episode 5 just because they jangled keys in your face.
guessing you love the sequels lmao
Nostalgia yes important to Ashoka also yea to you on about man you watch rebels or clone wars?????
@@SparksOnProgramwhy would they give insight on Anakin when it wasn't about him? It was about HIS apprentice, it was about giving her one last lesson. 🤦
@@baryon-07 Fucking despise them. Grew up on Clone Wars and Rebels, fucking hate this show. Couldn’t get past episode 1.
If only all these Star Wars shows were done as well as Andor, best Star Wars content I’ve seen
although andor has kinda ruined other star wars shows for me because other than s2 i know nothing will ever be as good again and now i've kinda lost interest in them
The only thing that I would give for Non-Force Sensitives becoming "force sensitive" is what they did in Rogue One, where Chirrut, who is not force sensitive, through intense decade long training and philosophy, has some level of connection to the force (mostly reflexes and some compensation for his blindness). as the force connects everyone, it makes sense that people without it naturally could gain SOME level.
But they should NEVER be able to reach the level of a Jedi. Or even a Youngling.
“Star Wars is always best when it plays for nostalgia, unironically” damn, that’s a shame for actual good content out there
Star Wars KotoR 2 throwing in a bunch of nihilism did make for a good story. Too bad the game's unfinished.
But people won't admit it because of nostalgia
Bringing the passive OT Yoda in AOTC to have an epic duel with Dooku for no reason just cause?

Very wholesome, ngl. The joy was infectious and brought a genuine smile to my face while I was supposed to be studying for my midterms.

Ahsoka is somehow great at being not bad while being bad.

That's true, there's a lot of foretelling on that tbh
Ok no disrespect to you but
1. Them playing a theme doesn’t justify or validate her being force sensitive
2. All of them heard the voices not just her, they literally were teleporting through the force
3. That’s wrong because bendu interacted with thrawn and he’s not force sensitive and plus it doesn’t just interact with pure force sensitives. It talked with kanan because it knew his conflict with his past and current blindness
She was already perfect in every way in rebels when she was like 16… now she’s a force sensitive Jedi Jesus, guess waman are all queens right guys?

Gameplay of a show? Zanny is evolving guys. Although Ahsoka's script is a lot like bad video game plots.
Even Obi Wan hints at this in episode 1
"In my experience, it's never just luck"
Another great example is Chirrut in Rogue One.
Ahh can’t wait till thrawn in season 2 becomes a force sensitive Sith Lord because the night sisters told him to feel the force 💀 Disney are loosing it
I know it’s been months but I gotta get in on this haha
It’s not “everyone always had the force” that bugs us, it’s more so that a character can go from (next to) nothing, to being a Jedi…especially when it was never even remotely hinted at before…Sabine may have trained with a lightsaber before but that’s cuz she was already a young _warrior_ in training and had the darksaber.
How about the fact that she’s taking on this ex-Jedi with no problem now (like yeah she lost the first time but like 2 days later she wins??)
