Gadsden was a place lots of people from NE Alabama went to for shopping and eating out. I remember when the steel mill closed, although i thought it was prior to 2000. You know everyone in Texas drives a pickup truck. Well years ago back in the 70's a must have option was everyone had a "Topper" to go on the bed of the truck. Great for taking a bunch of Scouts camping, etc... Anyways because we were farming we had to be able to set them on and off onto saw horses. Easy with four men. The way we held them on was with four, 4 inch C clamps cranked down tight in each corner. It worked great. So every one always had their set of clamps at the ready to mount their Toppers. I always think of that when I see you redo C Clamps.
That is so awesome! Never knew that!!! I had a Pick Up once. However here in NY anything in the bed is considered "FREE STUFF" to many people here so you either left it empty of it would be soon... =-D
