- In this video lecture we have described the timeline of development of the maxillary canine tooth that includes initial calcification of the tooth, crown completion, age of eruption and root completion. We also described the number of the canine in three tooth numbering systems (Universal, Palmer and FDI tooth numbering systems. We have also described in detail the morphology and key identification features of the maxillary canine from all aspects.
