- In this video lecture we have described the timeline of development of the maxillary first premolar tooth that includes initial calcification of the tooth, crown completion, age of eruption and root completion. We also described the number of the first premolar in three tooth numbering systems (Universal, Palmer and FDI tooth numbering systems. We have also described in detail the morphology and key identification features of the maxillary first premolar from all aspects.
