These people who buy loads of cars and just leave them are a special breed. The only positive is that we get some good videos to watch on a Saturday night😉
Its like autobahn heaven. Seen shots of this place floating around on the interweb and the guy definitely shares taste in cars with me. Glad you visited so I could get a proper look finaly
Hi Colin another absolute brilliant find a whole load of those cars need to be out of there and back on the road.Really interesting video with great scenery at beginning and a selection of wonderful cars to finish off.Great work Colin and entertaining commentary this one is going to better.Look forward to next weeks. Take care.😀
Hi Colin, how's it going? You blew me away with this video. Such beautiful cars. I want them all.😂. I loved the video. Watch out for those brambles. Take care and stay safe.
How many emails have you had from 6D Al?? 😂 I'm sure there'd be some treasure for him in there!! 🤣 Awesome find mate, fair play to the owner for allowing the video 👍
I hope you enjoy your trip in our beautiful land. I am from Baden-Württemberg. Love the video, because I see these cars daily. Well the 190s and W 201, yesterday a C126 in top condition in our town. Not that big a suprise 50 km from Stuttgart. Watching your videos inspired me to look more closely for old cars myself - a passion I always had. Often all I have to do is look out of the window of my car or the train. Have not to travel far. I could show you some nice smaller collections east of Stuttgart. Nothing quite spectacular, but the sum makes it. If I can show you some pictures, let me know. Id love to go exploring myself but time is the factor. So what I do is taking fotos of the cars I find and post some of them on Facebook.
British cars in the 1960s had them on the wings too. Not sure why Colin didn't lift the cover up at the front unless under instructions from the owner. The only Japanese car it could be is a Datsun Fairlady but that doesn't explain the 'H' on the bootlid.
Toyota Avalon might be rare over there but over here in the states where I live in east TN these things are so cheap they are used as demolition derby cars (banger racing in your parts) sometimes the homeless even live in them, lol
You can check with the Town council the city or whatever find out information on that abandoned property and you let me know whatever kind of money they want for the property you don't have to tell them about the cars it's the property and whatever is on the property you own let me know😊😅😊
If you can ask the owner or whoever manages the property if they are willing to sell the property and all of the vehicles had one price how much will it be let me know Victor from the United States and the state of California and don't worry about the money I have enough❤😂😊😅
Hi, Colin. I’ve seen a short clip of them long time ago and since nowadays, since now I’ve asking myself what’s really happened there. You’re a life saver, I’d like to get in touch with you or owner of this beautiful hoard. For a good period of time I have been looking for a nice LHD Merc. Where about in Germany are this beautiful hoard located? Kind regards, Alex. 👍🏼🫡
number plates in Germany belong to the state not the car so when a car is sold to the trade the plate goes back to the state and the trader has to use 'trade plates' if they wish to drive on the road
@Lottatherotta So if a car is deregistered in Germany you have to take down the license plates. The registration and MOT stamps on it will be removed by the registration office. You will then get the license plates back or have them disposed of. If the plates are not reserved, they may immediately go to another car. You can also reserve license plates for a maximum of 18 months at a time if the car is not registered. After 18 months, the license plate becomes available again and someone else can apply for it. Many deregistered vehicles in Germany no longer have license plates because they may already have been assigned to other vehicles.
If they're a bad then that means you can pick and choose whatever you want to save and restore them don't let them sit and go to waste by the property you get the cars you get the trucks you get everything on the property if you want or need a partner with the financial backing you let me know I got plenty and I need to invest in something abandoned properties or whatever it doesn't matter I am an entrepreneur😮😢😅😂❤
Realy i want to know why these cars abonded an staying like this ,its not the reason 2 or 5 cars,no here are so mich w124 cars and older benzes and other trademarks, why in hell existing this in lost places ?? Okay man left the world,or nobody care about this okay, but why and how you left the legend cars to let rosting and dont make anything to sell parts or mabye cars in complete ?? This is a thing that i dont underdtand, in every Situation of life it gives people they know about, they have own to this place and and and, maby you have to struggle with money okay but why you make nothing ...thank for this video and sorry for my bad english I am at the point where you say, that the owner maybe say he will sell something, at 7:46 the red w124 with black karo seats, i am very interested about the interior seats may be i become a message for this, the whole car i dont need this,i have one The c126 at the half of the video are so nice,i want realy the connection to this guy,i want speak about my many questions and i want buy something like the car and parts from cars please,it is so sad to see this collection in this condition, please let this uniques dont die for ever
Finding these old cars maybe of interest to some , but it wasn't the content I came here to see , I prefer houses and old hospital and such, I wish you all the best, but I'm regrettably finding someone else to watch
The people who do this are counting on the second hand car market and "youngtimer" market to explode. Unfortunately they were too late and the value of all these bangers (apart from an exceptional few) doesn't exceed the rent of the land they are kept on. A field of doubly wasted money there as cars move on to electric powered by hydrogen and fossil fuels are phased out. Pity about all the BS when he saw a sports car under a tarpaulin and didn't even bother trying to check and see what it was but asks "if any of you guys know" ..... BAD. What a tosser.

Glad to hear the owner is willing to sell some of these classics instead of letting them rot in a field.
Well, they look like they've been rotting for some time already. Why even leave the windows open ? Baffles me completely.
Its like autobahn heaven. Seen shots of this place floating around on the interweb and the guy definitely shares taste in cars with me. Glad you visited so I could get a proper look finaly
So sad but for some reasons, I find your vids so chill and relaxing 😊
Thanks!

Every time I go by an automobile resting ground, I picture the Bearded Explorer going through it and explaining everything. ✔️ Nice job. 👀

An interesting collection. Appreciate the HDR availability too - is there a technical reason it's reserved for particular uploads, Colin?

Those W126 SEC's are my favourites. I'd get 560 one if I had money to buy one.
Das ist sehr interessant.
absolutely beautiful...can you share the location of these cars please?thanks a million
That burgundy E30 convertible looks suspiciously like the one Richard Hammond used in Top Gear, its identical 😳
Was just thinking the same thing, the £1500 convertible challenge, it was a D reg I think, wonder if it is the same car
@@davidsewell3745 correct D Reg,doubtful as it’s in Germany but not impossible I guess, interior wheels and colour are the same though.
The wheels on this BMW convertible are Borbet A's.
The ones one Richard Hammonds were Azev Alloys.
Lovely cars great find Colin
That JDM Car Avalon though 15:21
THIS IS PARADISE OF CLASSIC CARS
Seen one of your stickers on the eurotunnel 😮
Great vid
Great watch
That car under the blue cover looks like a Japanese make to me based on the positioning of the side view mirrors that is common in Japan.
British cars in the 1960s had them on the wings too. Not sure why Colin didn't lift the cover up at the front unless under instructions from the owner. The only Japanese car it could be is a Datsun Fairlady but that doesn't explain the 'H' on the bootlid.

Not one cosworth I was expecting one among that lot
I have one coming soon don’t worry 😉
If you can ask the owner or whoever manages the property if they are willing to sell the property and all of the vehicles had one price how much will it be let me know Victor from the United States and the state of California and don't worry about the money I have enough❤😂😊😅

How much for 1 of the 190
I am interested for a w124 e300 24v or e320 24v
If it wasn’t for people like this most of these would have been scrapped long ago.
Those Mercedes just run in
I'm looking for a w126 300sd or w116 300 sd
Where is this?
Why are all the number plates off?

I can't believe you still haven't dropped the full two minute intro/spoiler - surely everyone must skip this. I know I do.
