Nice Pete. I used to drive an 05 like that with a 475 Cat acert stacked turbo, 18spd. Hauled woodchips from sawmill to papermill. I did not like the steering wheel. The steering wheel reminded me of my Moms 1989 Ford Topaz steering wheel. A classic 4 spoke steering wheel with rosewood grip would look great, matching your dash.
@@khizarvlogs I never looked at the serial. The trucks my boss had, he would run them 4 years max and then trade in. Jim [my boss] Very pro-maintenance owner. Spent the money on Amsoil engine oil for the trucks and did regular oil analysis. Lmited the trucks to 65mph. Asked us to not idle the engines unless at 1200. Shut off whenever you can. Engines were always clean and we had to keep the cab spotless clean and if we didnt, then after a few warnings, he would put you running the rock crusher in the pit for 2 weeks, haha. Had 3 Petes w/twin turbos, all 475hp. I dont recall having any downtime due to engine problems. Never seen oil leaks on the cylinder head and did not have any head gasket problems. I think because Jim never turned the engines up, they just chugged away stock at 475hp. I think you have a very good truck by first impression.
Bad ass truck, good pick, and it has a C15.
Nice truck
Nice Rig. Stay safe!

Yeah, it does look about 300 wheelbase. Maybe he measures it from bumper to bumper 😂
Nice truck Khizar..👍🏽 I spent many years in a ‘05 379. I now drive a 2018 389 glider. Congrats man. What will you be hauling?
Which engine was it ?
I haul Tankers
@@khizarvlogs C-15 Cat.. i’ve always been a cat man. There is a 1999 C-15 in the 389 that I drive now.
@@khizarvlogs I haul tankers as well. 👍🏽
Same.. I had a 3406e before. I believe that was a better engine. Now I have a MXS acert twin turbo. But 850k miles
Is that 18 speed. Brother. Nice truck
Yes 18
Right rear suspension arm pivot connecting hardware is loose and bleeding rust. Better have all the suspension bushings replaced. Bill
??
Needle in a haystack. Well taken care off. What kind of motor does it have ?
Cat C15
Nice rig. How much was it?
60
@khizarvlogs Wow. aren't you worried about the fuel economy in this market with a truck like that?
I don’t think that is a 310” wheel base..
He said 320 , Volvo drivers doesn’t know how to measure 😂
That’s not much room when you bring your goat along
It's ok to be jealous ;)
