Agreed... A piece of heavy 1/2 - 3/4" rubber stable / cow mat. Mount it up to the inside of the bottom of your bunk shock box. Kind of difficult to do it with anything rigid as the bunk obviously moves up and down on air... Keep up the good work!!
Can you do a video on how u became a owner op? Like what were the steps, the hurdles you had to go through and what hurdles you currently go through, finding a good company to hire on to ,if it’s not to personal what the pay split is? What’s that mindset like?I see a guy my age like yourself in a truck like that it gets the wheels in my head spinning as a company man. I drive a 9 car auto carrier. Stay safe driver.
It probably depends on what you're trying to block off between the cab and deckplate. If you're looking to just keep dirt and grime out of there I would use some sort of brush seal. This would likely keep most dirt out but would still be flexible to allow the cab and frame to move independently.
To solve that open space under your shock box get a piece of 1/8 aluminum bent like an L shaped and mount it to your deck plate with a 1/4” space and paint it to match. You could even shape it to go around the frame to fill in the sides also.
The truck looks great with the deck plates on but, you may want to consider leaving em off except for truck shows. Not only is making it harder for you to work on, the road grime collecting under there is pretty thick. All of that grime is gonna hold moisture, salt and dirt. Perfect environment for rust as well as chaffing your air hoses and wires. Be a good idea to pressure wash that out often. I love the truck and your style. Thanks for the vidya.
Something you could've done with the new bushings for the shocks, the night before you do it clamps the rubber bushings in a C clamp to compress them and throw in the freezer until you'd be ready to put them in. I've haven't done that before but I imagine the ice cold rubber would stay compressed for a while you install it.
Put a quality mud flap there from the top down roll it inward is one idea....because of the flex and movement thats what i come up with. Keep on keeping on with your badass self
Me personally, I would take the truck over the car Any Day!!!! The truck can and will make you money. 😁 The car will make you a target for thieves and highway patrol. 😬😔
get some rubber stripping for the rattling dude.... use some weather stripping... i did... an its good you can park at home... I parked my truck at home for a week an the city gave me a warning.... no commercial equipment... an to think my drive way is 5x as long as yours... lol
With spinning bolts sometimes if you can get something to prey it up a little or just pull up on the plate anywhere while turning it then it might catch a thread & come out
LOL glad to see Paccar is still using only the highest of stuff for their trucks, I know the deck plates are custom, but that shock was completely shot and your truck is dam near new, there is better shocks they could put on from the factory. that would at least last past 2 years
Would be interested to know how much the truck cost you, and all the upgrades you’ve done to it. This is a dream truck of mine, got about 2.5 years driving and would love any info you wanna share brother - much love
Yeah, best be getting them lucky rolls, reckless operation bringing a wrecking ball in quick if not careful with them race cars, or worse for me, bikes.
Nice looking truck Iv watched a few of your videos and enjoyed the content BUT that music way to loud!!!! when you have to turn the volume down for the music and turn it up when you talk !!! you don't even need music as far as I'm concerned!! That's my rant.

So true
It is dope
Can I get this picture in a straight up and down photo for a wallpaper?
Agree
The charger & the truck …the right & left lane on smash 🤜🏽
If that aint the biggest driveway flex, looks fire🔥🔥🔥

Good fucking idea!!!! Damnit man! I’m probably gonna do that!!!
Thank you!
This is good. you can also use a 3-4inch garage door floor seal, soft and compliant
You got the one of the trucks that I love it not a KW
Your truck is is classic
Love you you brother
The ride never ends
Got that right good buddy! 🫡

I don’t know what like more your bad a** truck or the car. 😂 stay safe my trucking brother.
I really enjoy watching the videos when you work on your truck
Just found you. That driveway shot is BANANAS!!!!! so dope.

Good idea! I’ll have no choose on the next round of shocks! I’ll keep that in mind!
36 hours. Resetis the only time we get off but it’s our job I did this for. 57. Years an only part time now after 57 years still have my class one
Ive seen this thing on I-5 a few times now. I'm super stoked I found this channel, you for sure got a sub from me. Props from Bellingham 🤙

It’s a great idea!
I def agree with the topic. O/O get no days off. But I’ve been doing and that’s if you’re a real O/O and not a lease purchase.
Damn both in matching destroyer grey, nice
Nice rig and nice video continue the good work .
Thank you!
Dude holy shit man that is so sick. Nice job man. Good work.
What a beautiful rig
The rig, the whip and the sky grey.
love your truck inspiration to young drivers
I like that you’re not blocking the sidewalk how you parked. Idiot owner operators around just park and block the sidewalks.
Me personally, I would take the truck over the car Any Day!!!!
The truck can and will make you money. 😁
The car will make you a target for thieves and highway patrol. 😬😔
Always good to see your videos
What a beautiful rig!
Just add some black mesh like from the front grill of a truck cut to fit the gap in the back and install some lights to highlight the deck plate
You can use adjustable brackets and put a plate for that gap, and whenever you want to take the deck out pull the plate up using the bracket
Your the only person that can see that open space under the back of the cab. It looks fine the way it is.
get some rubber stripping for the rattling dude.... use some weather stripping... i did... an its good you can park at home... I parked my truck at home for a week an the city gave me a warning.... no commercial equipment... an to think my drive way is 5x as long as yours... lol
Good looking truck brother nice color choices
Respect 🇯🇲👊🏾
Bro, I’m not even gonna lie that’s one sexy ass truck damn
There's nothing like a holy Sunday spent worshipping with St. Peterbilt 🙏😇🙏😇🙏😆🤣
Rusty screws are a problem What I do to prevent new screws from rusting I spray them with a zinc based lacquer ! Really nice rig btw!
never get a day off but you can afford that awesome vehicles
That is a nice looking rig driver! I'm workin towards getting one some day myself. Love the video, keep it up.
Hey I appreciate ya!
Ps
Never let anyone tell you no!
Should of washed it underneath while the deck plate was off love the trucks looks good
Yea the rain has been so bad that’s what I do for spring cleaning lol. But now the deck plates are functional I’m going to be busy degreasing!
I haven't even watched the video yet but the thumbnail is *incredibly* hard
that gap is good dude; dont mess it up...
Both of the rides are looking good, sir
Nice Looking Rig Driver, Gorgeous
Could you put antiseize on those deck plate bolts? Might help in the future
Has the cleanest 5th wheel 🛞 in the planet 😂
Silicone pads I believe.....no grease needed...
Keeping a truck it ain't cheap.
you got my dream setup house car truck keep going
Bad ass modifications j👍🏾 job
this is goals 🔥
Love your videos ! And I love your truck it’s so classy !
Thank you!
Could you do a rubber block off plate so it moves and blocks the gap you don't like?
You ever thought about doing povs in your car 🔥🔥that setup you have is motivating
I probably will when summer hits and now I have that 360 camera
With spinning bolts sometimes if you can get something to prey it up a little or just pull up on the plate anywhere while turning it then it might catch a thread & come out
Yeah not these johnnys lol
Sick build what’s the color of the truck
Destroyer Grey
LOL glad to see Paccar is still using only the highest of stuff for their trucks, I know the deck plates are custom, but that shock was completely shot and your truck is dam near new, there is better shocks they could put on from the factory. that would at least last past 2 years
Yo you have taste for trucks. I have the exact same one in American Truck Simulator :D. Same config, same color, same everything :D
It's what you make of your day bro u can get a day off
Your truck is great
The Peterbilt in the thumbnail is what made me click on the video. I’m glad I did. 💪🏾
Peterbilts ❤🍆😊
Put antisieze on those bolts. Should have pressure washed under the deck
Would be interested to know how much the truck cost you, and all the upgrades you’ve done to it. This is a dream truck of mine, got about 2.5 years driving and would love any info you wanna share brother - much love
Have you looked at ARP Bolts they have 12point head..
Get a custom made trim or cover, for the back of the cab that'll hide the hole and hide the edge
Dope ass rig, what’s the make, model, and year ?
Clean bro 🔥
Thumbnail would do a crazy pc wallpaper
luv the colour, dnt no why people gota go all bright neon n shit like a rainbow
Cool Truck man 🙏❤️😀😀👍
Always loving the vids!
Thank you!
Another reason I like doing everything myself. So we call that built not bought. Cool truck tho 😊
Gotta love engineers
Another great video
I liked 👍🏿 because of the thumbnail
Damnn that truck is beautiful ! Where do you live? Don’t your neighbors cry to the city about your truck??
Cow Mat from Tractor supply for that gap between deck plate & shock box cover
Fuck yea!! Perfect idea!
Maybe if the deck plate curled up and went behind so the 2 pieces of metal “scissor” then the air ride can wouldn’t damage it.
If it doesn't have to be metal, you could possibly make a cover piece out of a black mudflap for that space under the sleeper.
I’m so glad I said that! It’s a perfect idea!
Where do you run
Well well well…. I knew it…
Gotta get my truck bagged
Get on it!! 🫡
Love the video but I personally think that it’s missing the video of you actually repairing or replacing the shocks but overall great video.
BEAST 🔥🔥🔥🔥☝️☝️☝️
Whats the track playing its smooth asf
All about the vibes
Yeah, best be getting them lucky rolls, reckless operation bringing a wrecking ball in quick if not careful with them race cars, or worse for me, bikes.

Behind the frame and they connect able the landing gear on the trailer

block the cap with a plastic, rubber cover thing :?
What type of truck
Wonderful 😎👏🇧🇷
$72 on a couple of nuts and bolts is insane. Not even CAT charges that much.. ok maybe they do lol
Hi driver I had hauled flat rebar but question is you a awesome rig but why no headache rack be safe driver
It’s not a requirement and I’m not a fan of how they look.
where you from??
which car is it?
Nice looking truck Iv watched a few of your videos and enjoyed the content BUT that music way to loud!!!! when you have to turn the volume down for the music and turn it up when you talk !!! you don't even need music as far as I'm concerned!! That's my rant.
Man thats a sexy thumbnail!
