wow! so old but still awesome!
truth4all01 I know and I feel weird because it's looks old but still feels brand new
Music theze dayz🤣🤣this is treasure
This was recorded decades after its release and is live. Listen to the original version. Much better.
I would argue the e
quality of the instuments is better but daves voice is way better in the original
The guitarist in this versión Is Chris Broderick, but in the original recording the guitarist was Marty friedman
Broderick make it seem easy..smirks
@@bleepbloop6234 Marty all day it's not even close
Dude..go listen to the album version... youll understand why people dig it... €;~)
if you want to hear the proper version of that solo you have to listen to the album version with marty friedman.the guy here does a good cover of it but still misses some of the notes and "feel".
The Solo is from Marty Friedman the Great ! Here it's an excellent cover from Broderick, but Marty was and still is the man.
Oh, and btw, the original Friedman solo is regarded by some like one of the best solos ever played on guitar, along w Hendrix performance at Woodstock
I gave a like. But please dude, do the album versions of Megadeth. Never do live Megadeth
For sure sounds good!! Which song would you recommend next??
@@Luniversed Depends, .. do you wanna groove out or thrash hard?
Groove out would be.. Sweating Bullets, and thrash hard would be... Take No Prisoners. Enjoy :) \m/
They sound amazing live, but this was not in their prime. And yeah Album version are amazing 🤘🏻
You should review anything with Andy James involved. He's an amazing guitarist. Maybe start with "Hurricane" and work your way to "War March".
Groove would be Wake Up Dead or The Conjuring.
This song used to be considered best on this album and this is considered as their best album. Hangar 18 used to be second and Holy Wars... The Punishment Due was in the third place in the 90's. Album was described as great with top two songs really going above the rest and Holy Wars... The Punishment Due was just best of the rest. However in the last decade Holy Wars... The Punishment Due has climbed to be the best selling Megadeath song and many consider it now for their best. You could say that Tornado was the song of its time, Hangar 18 was song responsible for album art and the one that is one of the Dave's favorites and Holy Wars was seemingly way ahead of it's time. Two decades ago Tornado of Souls and Symphony of Destruction would be top two songs people would recommend to you.
Holy wars then five magics
Funny how Chris Broderick is so damn good, but he’s not even on the Rushmore for Top Megadeth Guitarists (Kiko, Friedman, Mustaine, and Poland). You should hear Kiko and Marty play that solo... chills!
This appears to be a 2015-ish version. Try looking for a 1990-ish version. In this version, only Dave Mustaine is the original writer in the performance. In 1990, during the Rust In Peace era, the soloist was Marty Friedman. Plus you’re missing Nick Menza’s drums and original MD member David Ellefson’s base.
Better in original studio, because very clean to listen
gotta listen to the studio version😭😭
the great marty Friedman 🖤
Chris Broderick is the lead guitarist. He is an accomplished classic guitar player. He is technical and precise as you noted. Makes a lot of the stretches, arpeggios, tapping, sweeping, etc. Seem easy. Some prefer players that play with more freedom and expression. Both have their moments.
Not anymore he isnt
Its Kiko now
@@metalliholic Yep, Kiko is exceptional. I've enjoyed the playing of most of Megadeth's lead players from Poland, Friedman, …, Broderick, and Loureiro, as well as Mustaine's playing.
Megadeth - Angry Again, Ashes In Your Mouth, Lucretia, Hook In Mouth, react to those then I'll add more 🤘😎🤘
san diego's concert one of the best to watch
Thank you! Which songs do you think would be best??
Luniversed Sleepwalker ! 🤘🏻
Hangar18 is amazing in this concert
"Ashes in your Mouth" by MEGADETH
If you never heard a song before, don't start with the live version!
Exactly
ASHES IN YOUR MOUTH is a good song👍🔥
lol I was just about to write a similar comment. Great song! Love that guitar part @ 3:40.
you should hear it with Marty Friedman doing the solo
u wanna hear something mind blowing by megadeth. check out holy wars... the punishment due
if u already haven’t :)
That was Chris solo but even he will tell you that pales in comparison to Marty’s
Polaris, from rust in peace album. Also 5 magic's. Incredible songs for guitar.
Holy wars. One of the best!!! Do a reaction to this song and you won't regret it.
Chris Broderick. Covering Marty friedman chris was also in nevermore with Jeff loomis for a while
and he is the lead guitarist in act of defiance
Do a Megadeth album reaction! You need it. WE need it!
Just two words Marty friedman
You must listen to the album version to do this justice. However, if you must react to a live version then it's gotta be with Marty Friedman.
Megadeth rips my man . This whole album shreds especially with Marty Friedman on guitar 👍
Check out the video for Conquer or Die! By Megadeth 👌
Please check out "She-Wolf" live from Rude Awakening. It has a drum solo as well as several guitar solos, including Dave ripping one of the greatest live solos of all time.
Megadeth - *RECKONING DAY* please.
#MegadethForever 🤘🔥🔥🔥
kind of just dog-piling on to what's already been said but it can't be overstated - Chris and Kiko, the two lead guitarists since Marty left, are musical technicians - they can do anything you think is possible on a guitar and enlighten you to some things you didn't know were possible. But Marty, the guy who wrote this solo that's being covered here, is an audio sculptor/artist/composer - from Dragon's Kiss to Scenes to his work on this album and the next, he is the creator of art of a level that few in history can claim credit for, among a caliber of Bach and Beethoven and few others.
Ashes in Your Mouth live 1992 😉
U get a sub just for that hat man!!
Holy wars... One of the best song of trash metal. Do a reaction video and you won't regret it.
🤘
BETTER THAN MASTER OF PUPPETS?!?! Megadeth - Holy Wars Punishment Due (Reaction)
ruclips.net/video/xZP1XS-7d4E/видео.html
The one that made the solo is the best guitarist from Megadeth and his name is Marty Friedman. He left the band in 2000 I believe that man in the video is Chris Broderick in my opinion he is the 3rd best and 2nd best would be Kiko loureiro who is the current guitarist of Megadeth
Broderick is a badass. Dave always had a great guitarist in the band. Kiko is awesome. Hope he stays.
Sweating bullets
Yes, i wish when people do reaction videos, especially hard rock and metal, would listen to the studio versions first. To much can be off in a live performance could be off or distorted. Hear it clean first....then listen to Panteras Live Domination in Moscow.
That is Kiko Loureiro playing lead now. He used to be in Angra. Marty Friedman was the original lead guitarist for Megadeth at the time this album was written.
That's not Kiko, that's Chris Broderick. This is an older live performance, Kiko joined in 2015 for their 2016 album
And Marty Friedman was not the original lead guitarist of Megadeth, though he was the lead guitarist of Megadeth when they recorded Tornado Of Souls off of their 4th album.
Chris Poland was the lead guitarist on Megadeth's first two albums.
Chris Broderick is a beast but, like others in this comment section have pointed out, I and many others feel he lacks expression when playing. This solo was originally played by Marty Friedman, you should listen to that version and make your own judgment.
You have to listen to the studio version. This his pretty good but studio is clearer.
Give fatal illusion a shot off the album dystopia
How about Megadeth, Poisonous Shadows
Marty Freeman did the solo.
Friedman
Yeah ..i dont know how much i like this lead player.. hes not marty.. a little too casual during the solo... keep an open mind.. listen to the original .. its Better...
I will check out the original immediately!
Yeah Marty played it with an exotic style and flair whereas this guy plays it like a machine, it makes it boring
Obviously a live version is not going to sound as good.
Great song, nice reaction! Dave should have stayed with Metallica!
Now back to Wacken! LoL
🤘🏻🤘🏻😎🤘🏻🤘🏻
Will be right to it 💪
Well...he was fired. He didnt choose to leave Metallica
I didn't like that solo as much as others I've seen. Favourite song too.
Enjoy your honesty! Don't know where your at w/ your own skill level, but its certainly cool to hear your take, because you understand guitar speak. Do yourself a favor, & check out Painkiller/by JudasPriest, Burried Alive/by Avenged Sevenfold, & Eddie VanHalen's/ Eruption guitar solo- live in concert! Why wait?, you love guitar, you'll love these. ENJOY! your latest sub. 9/19/19! P.S. -- MississippiQueen/Live cover by Zakk Wylde!
Wrong version to react to... You need to react to the 1992 live version hammersmith with the original line up....
Live mixes are rarely good, because they mix for the house and not for the recording. Besides that, I have never thought this song was Megadeth's best work. The song is so repetitive, unlike much of their other music. That said, it's not a bad song.
lols prolly the worst line up and its missing the drummer, guitarist and base player who all worked on the original album.. :(
Do Angry Again!!!!
2:30 "megadeth its sound ok" ok this dude have no idea what is a good music, a bad music, or a master pierce
chris Broderick is the Master of Betcha Cant Play This...now ya see why---spank spank
If that guy is good... Marty is godlike. Well... i mean Marty is godlike either way.
Original study version with Marty is best but this one isn’t to shabby. Chris Broderick was no slouch though.
You are a guitarist?
Yes!
Why live ?
The solo guitarist on this video is Chris Broderick, but he is not the best at this solo. The guitarist who originally performed it is Marty Friedman, and, although Chris did a great job, Marty is better. Many people believe that this solo (As performed by Marty Friedman) is the best metal solo of alltime. You owe it to yourself to hear the studio version of this song. It is mind blowing.
Do something about the background noise
Shit recording without Friedman or Menza?
Grab the album "Rust in Peace" and listen to that solo. Really you shouldnt react to live versions of songs.
There's nothing "meh" about Megadeth
Why new people to Metal reacts to live songs?
The original is 1,000,000 times better
Without both DAVE’s They are just not as good.
Epic fail. If you are too react to tornado of souls, you have to react to the version played by the individuals who were actually involved in the writing process. This in my opinion is Megadeths worst line up. In other words, this isn't Megadeth, this is scabadeth! Hacks!
This recording is dubbed & filtered to hell... listen to the original studio version or another live version.
Get actual headphones. Earbuds suck for real playback.
Marty Friedman is better
