I really like the way you reviewed this vehicle. Other auto reviewers, please take note! You get right down to business and give an honest review without wasting time.
Solid review. Very fluid and informative. Your camera work is sharp and well directed. I just picked up a Crosstrek Wilderness and really enjoy it coming from a Jeep Gladiator. Well done. New subscriber.
Crazy how these rigs are 40k Canadian. Peso 💵. I test drove one and it was good. I think I want to move into an Outback this time. Keep up the great work.
Love the wheels. The gear ratio changes and Xdrive are good for both sand and snow. The tranny cooler is a good choice for any towing. The tow hook points are great for tiedowns for roof loads and the roof strengthening is awesome. I'm hoping my 2 inch Curt hitch from my 2021 will fit too.
Subaru should definitely consider building a faster Crosstrack version with around 300hp to fulfill the missing Impreza hatchback and could compete with the VW Golf R under sub $45k but with some rally/off-road capabilities. That could be an epic all-rounder car in the subcompact segment.
@@Amberdogproductions That might be interesting. Glad to see this model has the 2" receiver instead of the last model's 1.25". Will you be buying one? I'm sure tempted to.
@@TucsonDude already did. It should be here any day. Got the sapphire blue full option. Hoping this will be a good daily driver and an asset to have for my channel for when I don't take my Tacoma TRD out.
@@Amberdogproductions Nice! That's exactly where I'm at, but I'm actually tempted to trade in my Tacoma TRDOR (6MT) since I already own an older Jeep Rubicon.
Subaru, go the extra mile, offer this trim with the 2.5 turbo for about 38k and you can have my money. It's just a shame Subaru has seemingly done everything possible to kill the WRX with the terrible styling, killing of the STI and making the "sportiest" WRX the CVT equipped model. They could at least partially redeem themselves by allowing their customers to have the fun that would come with a 260hp crosstreck. i know, I know, parish the thought of having fun in a Subi these days.
We had a 2018 Crosstrek. We’ve had our loaded 2024 sapphire blue Crosstrek Wilderness since last Friday. Absolutely love it.
Still love it?
We just returned from a 1500 mile road trip. Still love it!
Gas mileage was better at 70 plus than 65 and below. A pleasant surprise.
@@ChuckRamey-jm4qw wow thats awesome! Definitely going to purchase one soon thanks for the reply
Very welcome. We have just over 9,000 miles on it now. Great all around vehicle.
Great video! Unlike other videos like this, you focus on day-to-day usage rather than what it can do in extremes.

They should at least offer the Turbo 2.4 liter as they do with the outback XT option. The crosstrek NEEDS some more power
@@trentkesler7260that would probably eat into other sales. I hoped they would have brought over the 1.9/2l turbo, from Japan...
Great video
I am looking to upgrade to one of these from my 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport!
Are the all terrain tires decent in the winter? Or better to get dedicated winter tires
It's a amazing SUV.
looks awesome, XT please
Raised ride height more than 1/2 inch, was 8.7 now 9.3 do the math.
Nice car however Subaru made a terrible decision not offering a
Manual Transmission
I have to keep my 2019
I like it
It does not come with a full size spare. Its a temp wheel tire
PLEEEAAASE! You're the 10,000th person to complain about that. Don't buy one if that bothers you.
@@TucsonDude lol...my plan is to just get the hitch mounted swing away mount for those runs. But not in a hurry.

CVT NO.
CVT's are awful. No manual, not for me. I'll keep my Forester with a five speed, pwr seats, heated seats, cd player, etc.@@layne4376
Thats one ugly car
that's what makes it beautiful!
At least it doesn’t look like every other car in a parking lot. It stands out and I like that.
It sure does...and it's still ugly@@theskyehiker
If Subaru is thinking about competing against the Ford Bronco and Jeep Compass they better bring back the automatic transmission and a turbo.
