When in super state you keep the passives of all the shields, no ring magnet for lighting, unlimited air for bubble, and fire immunity for fire (pretty unnecessary)
Damn. Lava Reef 2 is even more beautiful in Mania than in S&K..... i need this game
The process of obtaining and then really becoming Super Sonic was by far the thing I enjoyed the most about Sonic games. These really was a tiebreaker if wheter I would buy it or not

So they even kept the "you have to get rid of the shield before you can go Super as Sonic" thing since going Super is mapped to the same button as your midair command. While that's a nice nod, I do wish that there was a separate button to go Super (like there should've been for S3&K. What else were you going to use he C button for?).

All I know if Classic Forces Sonic comes from another universe.

No this is the classic sonic from generations sense he went back in time with his future self he kinda changed some things so that's why he is going through different stages also his eyes are always black except for modern sonic
It's obviously before Adventure, where his green eyes were introduced.

@CreeperKraken15 unless publisher puts evil DRM in game and u dont want that filth on yer PC.. like say SEGA with this game.. i waited for them to sort it out, they said in aug 2017 that they were looking into it.. 4 months later DRM is still there and no further post from them, so i get the pirate DRM free version. cause fuck denuvo.

During this past months I've had the Mania Super Sonic theme stuck in my head and I just couldn't understand why I thought of this music instead of the Sonic 2 Super Sonic theme. I kept telling myself "That's Mania's menu theme...". I genuinely forgot that the theme for Super Sonic in Mania was a remix of the menu theme in the same game.

If you have a computer and play Sonic Mini or Sonic Mini Plus, press w and it will speed up automatically (in special stages).
What would be cool is if they kept the shield around their super forms, it's pointless, but it look a bit cooler, and gives them the abilities the shields have.

Yes, if you beat enough of the sphere levels. You might have to change from Mania mode once it's unlocked though.
