Dang, ours keeps coming apart. Did yours stay together? Our gasket doesn’t seem to snap in like his. Ours fell out while emptying the bin?

@@reetk8442 no, we had to order a replacement bin on dyson website and it came with the gasket installed etc. All is working well now.

i had the same problem but it was related to the red ring alingment... follow exactly what is shown in the video and it should work out

I tried just to push the red circle and it's plastic disk back without disassembling the clear bin and certainly broke 4 from 6 fixers marked by smal red circles at the beginning of video. I'm a lucky guy because I still have two of them and reinstall the circle but I need a new one clear bin for my Dyson. Thank you very much for the video, this really helped me.

The red ring kept falling. It turns out that it is broken so I had to order a new seal ring via Amazon Germany from a 3rd party company. Customer services in Turkiye and Uk advised replacing the whole bin. But they are out of stock for 6. Months😢Thanks for the video since I noticed that I could make it work again just by replacing the red ring aka the seal. It helped me a great deal when replacing the new red seal🙏🏻 Saved my Dyson lying idle for many months. And I do not need to buy a new bin. Thanks a million 😍🙏🏻

A new one is $11 on ebay. Huge savings. 😂😂😂. Fir everyone watching this video. If your bin seal came out there is a 99% chance the thin ring is cracked , chipped or splitting. Just get a new one and save yourself the aggravation.

Every time I assemble it back the red part just comes out of its own again, turns out 2 clips are broken. Applied super glue hope that works.

GOOD VIEDO VERY PRCISE, OUR RING WAS BROKEN AND EVEN AFTER DOING WHAT YOU SHOWED IT WOULD JUST FALL OUT WHEN TRYING TO REINSTALL THE CANISTER ON THE VACUUM, WE FOUND THE RING ON AMAZON IT WAS 15 DOLLARS THE WHOLE NEW UPGRADED CANISTER WAS 35 DOLLARS, WE BOUGHT THE NEW AND SUPPOSEDLY UPGRADE!
The grey thin inner ring broke on my Dyson which resulted in the red seal getting lose. I figured out how to put it together but don’t think it will hold because the plastic ridges that snap it all back together are broken. Do you know if I can buy that grey inner ring by itself or do I need a whole new bin?

Thanks for the nice tutorial. I removed the screw, followed instructions, but no way to remove the seal from the bin even by making force on the bin as clearly explained by you, it seems firmly glued especially on the opposite side of the screw.Any suggestion?
You just have to pull it out with confidence and strength. It took me 2 days but I finally got mine out. There’s no glue.

Btw, since I couldn't find my trusty T8, a very small screwdriver worked ok, if careful.

Literally says it's a T8 in the first 10 seconds.

its more easier with four hands. then it was really easy
For people who doesn't have large enough hand to press on the wall, use your feet or something else press against the top of the tube when placed shown in the video make it oval and try to take it out. Don't press too hard or you will need to replace the whole thing.

Dyson vacuums are garbage. The vacuum motors are great. The rest of them is junk. I have the best big one and it is falling apart snd this one is falling apart. The plastic is way too brittle on the canisters and way too flimsy on the handle. What a joke. Never again. Dyson can pound sand My favorite part of owning these will be taking them the the rifle range
