  • Dragons and Dinosaurs! Few things ignite our imagination the way these mysterious creatures do! But what is the truth behind the legends? Were dragons real? When did dinosaurs actually roam the earth? Are they mentioned in the Bible? Second Corinthians 10:5 tells us to, “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”. Come and see how when we build our thinking on the foundation of God’s Word we have answers to these questions and more!

Keep telling it like it is. We now live in a world that mostly rejects their creator because it would make them accountable to someone other than their own fleshly desires. Just because it is permissible to teach the THEORY of evolution it doesn't make that THEORY correct. It has been debunked as has the big bang THEORY but those who have no other explanation outside of creation have to keep grasping at straws to maintain their Godless world view. It's like kicking against the goads until their heals are bloody. Most evidence like the foot prints of a man in the foot print of a dinosaur has been destroyed to keep the narrative alive. The Smithsonian Institute is notorious for hiding findings that are contrary to the evolutionists narrative. Evolution is a hopeful belief system by which man can do what ever he pleases without moral consequence. That's why Dawkins finds it so freeing to disregard the Bible.

So if the Earth is 6000 years old, where does astronomy fit in? Keep in mind that we know how fast lights travels etc etc. for instance, the James Webb telescope has is specially built for the red shift that we see when light travels long distances. How is the multi-billion dollar project so wrong, but also manages to capture the images. How do we utilise the knowledge of the speed of light in the many ways YOU yourself use, but get it wrong in other areas?
Ultimately, to agree with this channel, we have to disbelieve so many of the areas of science that we use this day. I know they try to link it, but science does not fit with this view, and I am using advance science to type this message to you.

" I realize everything I was taught in school was a lie" - me too. I went to a Catholic boarding school for 6 years, and I now realise that I was taught a lot of poppycock. Around the time I left there, I read the Bible from cover to cover, and that shook my faith quite a bit. because there was so much in it that I couldn't believe. After a year to think it all over, I was completely atheist. I had learned to question everything, and the Bible doesn't stand up to questionning. Religion teaches us to question *_nothing,_* but to accept everything on faith (which, according to the dictionnary, is belief without proof or evidence) Just put "faith" on the URL line above to find the dictionary definition.
*Faith :* strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof.
The confidence I gained when I saw through the religious fog I had beeen taught was tremendous and now, I know my mind far better than I did then.

We keep finding Dino's, no giants. According to the Bible after a lot of incest among man the sons of God copulated with human daughters (spiritual beings interested in the sins of the flesh???) which resulted in giants roaming the earth. Billions of people around the world, that is: 2,3 Billion christians + a lot of Jews as well as Islamic people believe this kind of shit. Christians also belief a virgin was impregnated by god's holy spirit and their son could walk on liquid water, turn water into wine, feed a crowd from a snack and raise people as well as himself from death. They consider that 'truth' beyond reasonable doubt. Their holy manuscripts are littered with real impossibilities (f.e. just try to load at least one pair of every animal species + food for one year into an arc). Though raised in this tradition myself it made me a humanist: man created gods and an afterlife out of psychological necessity: hope, fear, reassurance, and religion to manipulate the masses, obtain power and last but not least: money. Defining our species as homo sapiens is a mistake. Humanity is overall ignorant and trained to believe whatever fairytale one can imagine. Quality education is a threat and therefore sciences can not be trusted. And the Holocaust, or young children dying of disease? Well, the Lord acts in mysterious ways... Religion is a lie.

Well , I believe the Bible is just a big story edited every now and then from different peoples point of views. From what I read in the Bible, it starts of by say got made earth then water and all that, then made man……..and it says it like it’s pretty much instantly after the earth was formed…..kind of missing a few million years suggesting that the dinosaurs didn’t even exist. If god was real , he/she would have certainly started off by saying and god made these giant creatures first and explained how they got on.

The research your organisation does on archeology and science is really astounding and answers a lot of questinions I had. I can see how precisely you are working. One thing in this video surprised me though, which was the connotation of you, Brian, on if a believer reads Vayikra/Leviticus and D'varim/Numbers. Those two books are part of the Thora, the first five books of the Bible and the first written revelation of G-d through Moshe/Moses who wrote it down. A revelation on who G-d is, how He wants us to conduct oursrelves on this earth, how we should approach Him since He is a Holy G-d. Especially in Vayikra/Leviticus and B'midbar/Numbers one can read how G-d is involved in every area of a human live. The word Thora does not merely mean "law", but wheb translated correctly it means "instruction", it is G-d manual for a human for his or her live on earth. It is a shame that in mainstream Christianity these books are tossed aside and not studied anymore. One would find the significance of it and see how mainstream Christianity is not aware anymore of certain things which every believer should do in order to be that citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, grafted in Israel, set apart from the world. It is important to study books of the Bible like Vayikra/Leviticus, B'midbar/Numbers and D'varim/Deuteronomy.

Well the accepted scientific theories don't make sense. The heat and pressure they determine would fossilize bone into rock would destroy the bone before the process even began.
The Electric Universe theory makes a much more logical argument. Something happened that made the Sun discharge lightning. As the Earth flooded the massive lightning annihilated the flesh , but instantaneously calcified the bones. The book of Genesis begins when the Great Catastrophe started, not when the Earth started. The Creation Story is primitive allegory not meant to be taken literally.
Under this model the earth is any where from 50,000-700,000 years.
We've got the religious who forgo critical thinking and information out of faith and the scientific who forgo facts to suit their theories to a religious degree.
I firmly believe that there needs to be a bridge between God and the science he created. Both religion and science oppose each other purely out of wanting to be right.

I will say though, while I find it harder, and harder to believe the Bible, I will say it's quite possible that the saving grace of it is that there are prophecies that the Bible made, 4, and 2 thousand years ago that seem to be coming true today. So, while I am very much questioning... I am still holding on, barely. I only say though that, I hold on because I want to believe that there is a God, I don't want for death to be an eternity of non-existence, where the only consciousness we have, is gone when our brains die.
However, something interesting to point out. Ghosts don't exist, and if you try to talk to demons, nothing happens. You can't barter with the Devil because he doesn't answer, I tried when I was a kid, because there was a girl I really, really, really, really loved and was willing to do anything to have her. Surely the Devil would of seen a very easy target and taken it, but instead I heard nothing -- not from God, not from the Devil, or any Demon(s).

It is so sad that you Bible thumpers don't read, speak, or understand Hebrew, and take everything you read only at a superficial, literal, face value. Okay, lesson number 1. The word for "ark" is used only twice in the Bible (the real version, not the short novel this guy is touting). The first is as you understand, Noah's Ark, a very large vessel that saved a myriad of living animals, humans included. Historically the story falls midway between the Creation and Israel's exodus from Egypt, essentially the historical beginning of Judaism. Fast forward a bit, the second, and final use of the word "Teva" (Ark), is the Moses story. The floating cradle that saves Moses from the Egyptian slaughter was a Teva. The half-way Noah story is the salvation of mankind. The "end" or end chapter of the Moses story is the salvation of the soul of mankind. The Jesus story on a philosophical level doesn't even come close... Sorry to disappoint. (Since we are discussing fiction, the Superman story is a recreation of the Moses story, and it was not an accident. The rocket that carried KalEl to earth technically qualifies as a Teva! It was the vehicle that transported the last surviving Kryptonian to a place of safety and refuge. Good work, Jor-El! "El" by the way is an ancient Hebrew name for god) Have a restful and peaceful Sabbath.

Primesspct2 what you say about love is very true, but we have to exercise discernment as well. Sometimes love is tough love e.g. the way Christ spoke to the pharisees, or the way Paul spoke to the Judaizers, or the way Jude and Peter handle the Gnostics, or the way the OT in general handles the many false teachers. Yes, it is possible to speak out of vainglory, but it is also possible to neglect our duty to watch for the enemy’s wiles and defend against them. Both are dangerous and wrong, but in modern Christianity I am persuaded the latter is our main error. Much of the Bible simply won’t make sense unless we understand that Satan is on the prowl - and he’s very clever, he’s not going to go for a direct attack on the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, there is not a single instance in the entire Bible where Satan attacks Christ directly (should be a lesson to us to look for all the curveball attacks; all the “wolves in sheep’s clothing”).
So while there ARE Christians who believe in evolution (just like there were Christians who believed in the Judaizers’ doctrine), it doesn’t logically follow AT ALL that we don’t need to fight on this ground. The correct response would be that of Paul to the Galatians (see Gal 3:1)

      @samuellp1146 2 года назад +5

This is going off from a spiritual realm more than biology. He gave man the choice to sin or not to sin, it's basically free will for man to choose (contrary to popular beliefs, the Devil never makes a person to sin, the person chooses too).
There are various instances where God gave man free will. The first one is Genesis in the old testament when Adam and Eve chose to to eat of the forbidden fruit that God told them not to eat off of. He wants you to join him out of free will in Heaven and not because you were forced to join him. I hope it this helps some.

Step back from this question and let’s cover the basics. First, How many dinosaurs have been unearthed in the area in which the Bible was written? You know the most dug up place on earth. One wouldn’t write about something that didn’t exist where they lived. Second how many animals are located in your area naturally? Seen all of them out in the wild? I doubt it. These two obvious questions eliminate this topic. Why try to prove they are in the Bible when basic understanding tells you they are not. The same scriptures are alway quoted. And clearly these descriptions could be a variety of animals.

Good questions. But step back even farther & research: The Bone Wars. The word “Dinosaur” was coined (by a royal govt employee) over a decade before any “evidence” was ever found. That first “evidence” was a BIRD’s 3-toed print. Within 10 years, over 13k bone fragments, from all across America, were found by only two men. All this in the late 1800’s...when there was almost no transportation, mail or phones. The whole dino story is baloney.
Btw...Museums admittedly showcase FAKE dinosaur skeletons. So these documentaries are irrelevant.

Well days of Noah, talking about Dinosaurs may not seem relevant to the Gospel to you, but that is because you are a deceiver. God Himself is the One Who starts His message in Genesis; and so if you think Genesis is irrelevant to the Gospel you are calling God a fool who beats around the bush instead of just getting straight to the Gospel of Matthew. Christ says His sheep hear His Voice; and if you cannot recognise Genesis as His Voice, what does that say about your claim to be His follower…?
The evolutionist who rejects Christianity because they believe Genesis is false, has more honesty than you: at least they recognise that if Genesis is unreliable then so is everything the God of the Bible claims (which, by the way, is an obviously true statement) - but praise God, His Word IS true from the very beginning (Psalm 119: 116).
Your claim isn’t a call to preach the Gospel; it’s using the “Gospel” (whatever “Gospel” you mean I cannot say; again, the TRUE Gospel of God is an intelligible message which starts in Genesis as the New Testament also makes clear) as an excuse to ignore what God has plainly revealed.
This isn’t the first time people have used “hidden/mystery” as an excuse for outright rebellion against God’s Word, and it won’t be the last - and ironically if you were half-familiar with the Bible, you would know this (see e.g. Isa 29:9-11; Ezek 12:21-26; or even Matt 13:15, etc. etc. … and unfortunately for you, the very texts to which Christ was referring in Matt 13 were the very OT texts you are now claiming are irrelevant). I could go on, but I’m mainly speaking to warn anyone who might have bought your lies.
Finally therefore, I conclude by thanking you for making your claims readily testable. You claim to have watched many videos on this channel and have never heard the Gospel call; behold, the very video you are supposed to be commenting on has a clear Gospel call at the end, which anyone can verify for themself. Thank you for being an obvious fraud, and hopefully this fact alone will put any sincere enquirer on high alert before falling for you.

If god is all knowing how did he make wrong assumptions? As it was god who told his disciples the story of the earth and or visions given to prophets or disciples by god, so did god lie to his prophet’s / disciples ? It says god made the planets and earth then he gave us light , so did god make the earth in the dark ? Or is it all open to interpretation and therefore there is nothing in the holy books that is not open to interpretation ? i think in Islam all of the prophets words are the truth and to not agree is blasphemy, right ? So some religions are open to interpretation and some are not is that right ?

I'm not sure I really understand what you're saying. But why would it matter if God began creation in the dark? Isn't He God? Does He not have the ability to see even in the dark because He is God? Wouldn't God be bigger than the darkness? I think so. So I"m not really sure if this is the wrong assumptions you say God made -- because I don't know of any wrong assumptions on God's part. Mankind can make wrong assumptions but not God.

I just don't understand what makes anyone think God told us everything in the Bible. Things like this do not show that God does not exist, it just shows what we do not know
