Sushmita really crowned Chelsi Smith in each of her respective pageants. Absolute queens. I hope R’Bonney pays tribute to her when she crowns the next Miss Universe.
I really like this video, when Laura Martinez became Miss U.S.A. l was very youg back than l was in junior high in El Paso.. and l waited to see her and say hi, at Mesa st. And San Antonio. She was in this wellcome parade as TexMex my self l felt so proud of her, she was gorgeous..congratulations to all the pretty beauty queens and our Chelse Regards from El Paso
I love Texas. I thank you for this..really appreciated for acknowledging Texan beauty queens from 1983 until 2022. Hope you keep adding and updating as the years goes by... The most amazing part was from 1985 to 1989 when Texas won the Miss USA crown for 5 CONSECUTIVE YEARS. No state or country has ever made that feat.
great tribute, was wonderful to see ones I hadn't seen before and always wondered about. Michelle Royer and Katie Young were ones I never saw before, and always wanted to.
Something curious happens here, and it is that there are some girls who were the first runners-up and in the following years they won the crown. Crystle Stewart: 2006 - 2007 Brooke Daniels: 2008 Ana Rodriguez: 2010 R'Bonney Gabriel: 2021
Crystle competed for five years before winning. Brooke competed three years before winning. Ana competed four years before winning. R'Bonney only competed two years. Many of the eventually Miss USA winners placed either in the semifinals or the Top 5 before winning.
And another 1RU left to win in another state (Leanne Locken, 1RU to Michelle Royer in 1987. She became Miss Arizona USA in 1989 and placed in the top 10 at Miss USA 1989 Gretchen).
I think of all the great winners that were under the direction of Richard Guy and Rex Holt (GUYREX), not to mention the great winners under the direction of Al and Gail Clark. Many fabulous pageants and winners. God bless all of you.
It felt like honor when Lupita Jones, Miss Universe 1991 was crowning Katie Young as Miss Texas USA 1992. It was wonderful. It felt like women empowerment internationally. 🇲🇽👑🇺🇸 5:35
Miss Texas USA 1983 won Most Photogenic at Miss USA and also ranked #1 in final scores. However, the judges awarded the title to Miss California, Julie Hayek, who ranked #2 in final scores.
Okay, what's your point? Lisa lost to Julie in the final round of questioning. Julie's answer was on point. The same thing happened to Christy Fitchner at MU'86 after she lost to Barbara Palacios-Teyde. Christy was robbed of the title, however. Robbed!!!
Honestly Magen deserved way better at miss USA and miss teen USA. My sentimental favorite is Logan, something about her is so fun. I also love Ana she was super sexy and hot. Also Ali, her eyes are incredible with her dark hair.
The First Miss Texas I have ever watched was when Courtney Gibbs won then went to win MISS USA 1988 My wife was Pregnant at the time. also i was the same age as Courtney We were trying to figure out a name if i had a Girl I said when she was born I want the Name Courtney and it stuck with her she was my Favorite Miss USA ever
Why does the subtitle say R'bonney "resigned" as Miss USA as she becomes Miss Universe? She did NOT resign technically! If so, Chelsea Smith also "resigned", but the subtitle didn't indicate so!
@@angelique8066 Yeah it was history... i watch them both competing live on tv and they are d only Miss USA that i was rooting to win MU.. i really jump for joy watching them won the crown.. same feeling at that moment.. im not American but happy for their victory.. so proud of them
I wonder what happened to Miss Texas Organization and the production has obviously downgraded starting 2010 onwards? Their golden age was definitely up until 2009, production-wise.
Just wondering, did Harris County send a lot of representatives each year? They do well! Some many end up as first runner up or even winning the pageant😅🤔. Incredible
FIRST...RIP, Chelsi Smith. Crystal Stewart was my FAVORITE Miss USA (2008) from TEXAS. Also, Miss Michigan 1990 - Carole Ann Marie Gist (the first African-American Miss USA winner) BROKE the Texas USA Streak.
Sushmita really crowned Chelsi Smith in each of her respective pageants. Absolute queens. I hope R’Bonney pays tribute to her when she crowns the next Miss Universe.
It’s kind of cool that Miss Universe was at Chelsi state crowning. Considering she ended up winning with universe. It feels so appropriate.
She was there at her Miss Texas crowning, Miss USA and Miss Universe ! She got to witness her whole journey. Incredible
Wonderful tribute! I was born in 1982 and seeing the all the years combined like this is awesome. 😊❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Congrats to R'Bonney!! and RIP in Peace Chelsi, you were magnificent.
Rest in peace in peace? lol
@@makelovenotwar9941 She was talking about Miss Texas USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe winner 1995 that died RIP Chelsea Smith🙏🕊️
This was an incredible video, I literally almost cried at the end, I love these moments ❤

Thank you, sure that the video took a lot of work to edit. TX always sends beautiful and well rounded women to compete at USA.

Miss Texas USA 2014 Lauren Guzman reminds me of Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2017 Rachel Peters.
I remember watching the Miss USA 2011 pageant when Ana Rodriguez was Miss TX. She was the first from Laredo to win the crown
Hope that you will make a video for Miss California crowning moments too Seng thank you 😊

Lupita should have let the outgoing Miss Texas crown Katie.
Miss Universe 1992 Michelle McLean was also there.
Texas is indeed a power house in Miss USA.. incredibke record
Miss Harris County always seems to end up as 1st runner up.
Beautiful kendace Krueger ❤❤

Wow! Alot of DFW girls won Miss Texas! ⭐🤠⭐
Still curious why Kelsey Moore did not place.
Kristen Stewart es una guerrera, no se rindió a pesar de participar tres años seguidos en el miss Texas USA
Also Stephanie Guerrero never gave up. 🎉
@@dubbelhenke854 Especially since Stephanie was 1st RU in 2002, did not place in 2003, and won in 2004.

Texas has the most winners in Miss USA but among them an Black and Asian woman bring home the crown from Ms Universe...
I know right. Coincidentally, it was the first black Miss Texas USA as well as the first Asian Miss Texas USA who ended up winning Miss Universe.

Why didn't they show Crystal's crowning as Miss USA?

They should stop the hand holding thing between the final two. Very phony and staged, gives off the vibe of a second rate cable channel game show
Allie Drake is really pretty but she lacks personality lol
