Yeah around the Aurora is just cursed :)
@@TheLastBacon esspecialy during night
The hell hole and the ones with the weird cubed geometry were from old versions
I've always had this eerie feeling when behind the aurora, like you're not supposed to be there
@@TheLastBacon I’ve never played subnautica before can you tell me how is it look like?
Bro I remember I was in my seamoth challenging myself to go into “The Void” but then all you can hear in my room is… “AHHHHHH”
Lol nice :D
I honestly love the lost river to the point where it doesn't even begin to scare me anymore. Everything there is just so oddly beautiful, even the ghost leviathans, one of which I based next to.
It is certainly a gorgeous biome :)
I wanted to scan ghostie one (after killing him with P.R.A.W.N.) but he went trough the roof and dissappeared :(
@@polishcosmonaut6324that's why you gotta put him in stasis first before you kill him
@@hentaisailor5951 they problem is that it seems in never gonna see him again
@@polishcosmonaut6324 there's another one by the floating island if you go down far enough and then there are the adults in the void so you'll have more chances
The dunes In my opinion are absolutely terrifying. There’s little to no cover. Multiple reapers. Deep. And large.
Yeah it’s a scary area for sure :)
А я убивал жнецов оттуда ради забавы
I also find the lack of cover scary
I can confirm that the back of Aurora its scariest place in subnautica 💀, and remember near the Aurora there's a Reaper☠️
Yeah I hate going there :)
there are multiple@@TheLastBacon
Not one reaper💀
My brother in Christ there are 5 separate reaper spawns just in the crash site
I went behind the Aurora never again 💀☠️
people with megalophobia:
Reaper leviatan:😄
Aurora:☠️
Exactly :D
I couldn't imagine playing subnautica one day and somehow end up in the backrooms
Yeah I definitely wouldn't spend a long time there :D
If I ended up there I think I’d be too scared to even play on that save anymore lol
It happened to me… I saw so many things
It was so scary when i went back there
@@holden_plays6734 what happened
The dunes are genuinely the most horrific location ive ever experienced in any game ever.
You thought one reaper located only at the aurora was bad?
Well heres 7 more! And we took away your ability to see further then 20 feet aswell! :D
Yeah I hate the dunes with a passion :)
There are like 5 reaper's directly patrolling the aurora and a total of 10 patrolling the "crash zone"(the entire biome) but yeah, the dunes and(mountains) are the most terrifying
Call me crazy but I find the dunes kind of pretty. Tbf that's also my opinion on the rest of the crater.
Except near the aurora. Fuck the aurora.
Que raro, nunca encontré nada cuando iba a las dunas
Well i like games that give me this nervous feeling
Which is why I love subnautica along with every piece of it
I'm not scared of anything in subnautica lol
That music getting progressively more eerie as the video went on gave me chills down my spine.💀 btw great video
Thank you! Yeah I think this meme format really suits Subnautica! :)
You can thank The Caretaker for the creepy music. The album is Everywhere at the End of Time and it simulates Dementia.
@@undeadknight01 The tune is originally from Al Bowlly though. It's called "Heartaches"
@@TheSnekDen I figured they sampled an old song but didn't know the name. Thanks!
Really fits the mood.
The faces Mr. Incredible becoming uncanny look more terrifying than the video
Haha fair :)
Man I got chills when it showed the "back of the aurora"
And the fact that Back of the Aurora was after The Dunes and The Void was funny af
I really hate that area :D
The right is even worse imo
How many Reaper Leviathans are behind the Aurora?
There are 25 reaper leviathans in Subnautica; 7 in the mountains, 8 in the dunes and 10 in the crash zone.
That's where I lost my first Seamoth and the first time I got eaten by a Reaper. I did not expect it to come after me so quickly.
when I was in creative once I accidently went into the backrooms in the void, I was so confused at what was happening I lost all orientation.
terrifying
Yeah it is a creepy area :)
Bruh I don't mind the water and yet this game inflicts the same kind of terror as when jaws first came out.
Yeah it really hits some primordial fear :)
Ok but can we talk about the the sounds at stage 5 of this meme format? Cause it really sounds like aggressive cheek clapping and idk how to feel about that
Hahaha oh lord :D
its really scary to be not able to see around you ,but can hear the silence thats what nightmares feels like
True! :)
God, I remember back in the middle of early access, when the lava zone was under development finding the eerily deep and empty caves... That stuff was terrifying.
Good times! :)
Nice pfp

Yep :)

Bro I am scared to go to the back of aurora even on creative lol
Same tbh :)
May i ask, is there something other then sheer fear for how it looks?
Like leviathans and other beasts?
My talassophobe ass can't stand the view of just the back, let alone under the water!
@@ilsignorsaruman2636Yeah, a reaper leviathan likes to hang out around that area
I love the videos and i’m glad to have seen a couple of your shorts 🩳
Thank you kindly! :)
The hell hole is such a clutch when collecting items for the emperor eggs it’s literally just a short cut to and from the lava zone but in older versions it was just a crater
It is a really nice shortcut :)
I don’t know why but I LOVE the Blood Kelp it’s just such a cool biome
It is a very cool biome for sure :)
Yeah me too. I built my second ever base there
agreed.
dude, why are there only like 7 of us, it’s so cool!
Oh man, i don't fear aby biome so much as blood kelp
All of these seem like applicable osts for each biome tbh - especially the lost river
Haha fair :)
The hellhole would've been a hell of a biome if it stuck around, imagine how scary and utterly amazing it would've been if it was a complete area (with plants, monsters and leviathans)
Yeah I kinda wish they had kept it :)
@@TheLastBacon maybe a future mod could add it back, heck maybe with its own leviathan class monster
What exactly was the hell hole and what was it supposed to be?
Ngl I love bringing my cyclops to the edge of the dunes and then fighting reapers in my prawn suit and going “IM NOT FÜCKING DONE WITH YOU YET”
Haha love that :)
Subnautica can be so freaking scary at times, still being really addictive, no wonder its my favorite game, really nice meme and love your videos 💜

Blood Kelp Zone definitely needs to be higher on this list, it’s absolutely terrifying
It is a freaky area for sure :)
Weirdly enough, I find comfort in the blood kelp, lost river, and lava zones.
@@goldencow8161 I’ve recently grown to find the BKZ tolerable, but I wouldn’t prefer going through it instead of the Grand Reef
THIS GAME SHOULDN'T SCARE. BUT IT DOES AAAAAAAAA, also shallows my beloved
Haha it scares a lot :)
It's curious, but glitching through the floor always gives me chills and anxiety, maybe because it's open ocean with literally nothing

"Multiple leviathan class entities located in your area. Are you sure what you are doing is worth it?” most chilling words in subnatica
Absolutely HATE hearing that line :D
Thank you for acnoledging the back of the aroura it is by far the scariest part of the map
Right? I hate that place :D
The only true scary area is the aurora the water is deep and hard to see around you and you don’t know where the leviathan is
It's very unpleasant there :)
Me with thallasophobia: this is fine *staring at the seafloor*
Staring at the floor helps, if I look up and don't see the waters surface I start to panic... Same goes if I'm high up and look down... If I don't see the floor... I panic
Yeah that is a good strategy :)
@@TheLastBacon thats my main tactic even with out a fear of deep water. i refuse to go to a place that i cant follow the floor down unless where im going is literally above water. because i fear ill unintentionally end up in the void or some place that randomly has a reaper
Getting all the achievements (after the patch) was scary ash because you literally had no choice but to go through every zone on the game and some places were terrifying.
Yep true :)
this is the most anxiety I have felt in a long time
Haha nice :)
The back of the Aurora will never not make me shit myself
Same :D
daemon
There are 3 fucking reapers there
i went there today and i started freaking out lmao
Petition to call the void the ‘dangerous depths’ because it’s the exact opposite to the sage shallows, which is biodiverse welcoming, Farley resource rich and sage, while the void is 8000m down and only has ghosties
Love the idea :D
And gargantuan Leviathans also😢
The back of the aurora is my favorite place to go when I have unwanted items
Understandable :D
Also good practice for my torpedoes cuz of the reaper leviathan
Only true OG's know where the last 3 come from
