There’s a fresh water well near the lake Harriet band shell. It’s been there for over fifty years and still producing really great drinking water. People stop by there with empty water jugs to fill them up. When I was a kid, a friend of mine and I would fill our water bottles there while biking around the area.
That’s good to know. I’ve probably biked past the Lake Harriet Bandshell over 100 times and never knew there was a well, but I’ll look for it next time.
Thank you. I may start using the Strava maps for better accuracy, but I like drawing in the route to show where I started and finished. Let me know if you have specific suggestions on how to make them better. Thanks for watching.
thanks for posting man. I'm here in St. Louis, been here my whole life. This really just smacks me in the face that I need to leave and go somewhere else EDIT: is there a nice breeze by the lakes when you're next to them?
There definitely can be a breeze and it was very windy the day I recorded this ride, but these lakes are all relatively small and there’s not a lot more wind near them than a few blocks away. Good luck if you’re moving to the Twin Cities!

love your videos you should geotrack them
I find them kind of annoying to bike around. Always tons of dumbasses walking randomly on the bike trail and/or going backward.
