pool cleaner myself and just couldn’t stop laughing when you showed that pool trashed with leaves only pool cleaners know the struggle how hard is to get all those leaves out and get to the next one 😂!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻like your videos 👍🏻
Thanks for this as we just had a big rain came in from the Texas hurricane. I have been fighting algae, etc for cpl weeks and had to cut a Crape Myrtle tree back close to POOL. However I bought one of those leaf baskets like you showed yet no Instructions and kinda unsure where to install it. Can you help me here. Thanks much?
As a pool technician, how long should I be at a clients home if their pool is severely covered with heavy leaves throughout the bottom of the pool? 30 minutes maxed? 40 minutes maxed?
Awesome! Hey I was wondering if you have a video on programming an easy touch. I'm new to the system and I need to run couple hours at high speed and the rest at low. Just wondering if you could help. Thx a lot
PoolBlue B I did film an overview video and I go into some detail on programing the speeds - EasyTouch® Pool and Spa Control Programming Schedule, Cleaner, Pump RPM, Salt: @VG8ldpIPiUQ
Emilee Kasperson You need a cover pump. They sell them on amazon.com and at your local pool store. If you open the cover with water on it it will damage the motor or in some cases cause the cover to rip off of the tracks.
Pool rookie here--if water level is too high after a heavy rain and I am out of town and cannot lower pool level, can the pump continue to run? Even if air isn’t getting into the skimmer? I know it is bad for a pump when water level is low but will it damage pump equipment when water level is high?
What should I do to my pool after a rain storm that doesn't lower the chlorine or the ph mine is also a sand filter and the hp of the motor is a 1 horse power
The gurglunging noise is there and this happen before but before it cleared itself through ill see whats the problem and make a video if i decide to contact you for more information
There was a major storm in bakersfield and my pool is horrible 1ft of dirt the cleaner gets burried in debris. But the major problem is the pump I clean the basket every 30 min and when i prime it back up. BEFORE THE STORM the preasure is at 17 clean basket but after the storm when i clean the basket its at 6 or 7. I clean it again and it goes to 9. Also the my hayward nav pro is clear of dirt in the turbine but pods are moving really slow. The pump is also extremly loud for so,me reason. I HAVE A INTELLOFLO PENTAIR PUMP ALL MY EQUIPMENT IS PENTAIR
Getting the tail end of that storm down here in the San Gabriel Valley. Couldn't get in to work today in Glendora due to mandatory evacuations. Sounds like you have some debris stuck in the pump impeller.Remove the basket and try to spin the impeller with a screwdriver. If you take the pump lid off and don't hear the customary gurgling chances are the impeller is jammed with debris. I have a video on it in my Pump Not Working Playlist. A canister for the cleaner is a good idea also if you don't yet have one.
No, just get a cover pump and drop it in the center. Like the Little Giant pump. It will activate if there is a 1/2" of water and turn off when cover is drained of water.
Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To - SPL Thanks so much for your reply. I was more asking about a winter mesh safety cover. Seems like the water level could rise above the skimmer
Had a lot of rain and my pool overflowed. I have a vinyl liner. Can an overflow cause damage to the pool in anyway? Anything I should do besides lowering water level? Do you have any videos on this topic? Thanks
Run my sand filter pump 2 hours a day, and shock it with hth 7 in one once a week and always have at least 1-2 chlorine tabs in the float skimmer in the pool. “But” my pool is 15x48 and has a tree hanging over it and it only in use once s week yet it still gets cloudy and algae build-up sometimes a little greenish. Once I shock it it clears up only for a day though. What am I doing wrong??? I checked water stats a day after shocking it and ph is great but chlorine is 0.5!

That pool with the maple tree 😍 Worth it! I’d stay cleaning those leaves up for those gorgeous views.
Cutting back all vegetation helps a lot. Especially trees.
I just used the brush, rake leaf and then the Pool Blaster.
Thank you for sharing the wealth of info

Live in Utah and a rain storm hit there's water ontop of the cover and it won't open suggestions?

1:42 i love that someone put a faucet coming out of the pump that would just blow water directly into your face if you opened it. lol...

No real issues with high water in the pool.

If the water is balanced then do nothing. That is a good thing.

Do you have to worry about winter water levels with a vinyl safety cover?

Should be okay. The frame on those can usually support the extra weight of the water. But drain it to the correct level when you can.

Try running your pump more than 2 hours a day. A pool that size needs 12-14 hours.
Hire a pool professional.
