I made your cobbler..... it I didn’t have self rising flour. So I added baking powder. Then I didn’t have orange juice...so I added 1/4 cup lemon juice. Then I didn’t have milk😖...so I melted vanilla bean ice cream....😜 It came out delicious. Everyone was raving how delicious it was. 😋🤪
I tried this today. I used peaches that I had frozen from this past season. Oh my word, it’s beautiful and delicious! I’ve never made cobbler before. Thank you!

I’m hoping for a good Thanksgiving dessert using peaches I froze back in season and substituting the flour for gluten free and low carb. I can’t believe I haven’t seen your channel before now. We seem to have a lot in common in flavor and cooking from our garden. I will be sharing your channel with everyone I can. I already love the few recipes I’ve seen!😋
I prepared this fresh peach cobbler today, it turned out excellent! With this quarantine I wasn’t able to locate self rising flour. I added 2 -1/4 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to my one and a half cups of all purpose flour, sifted and mixed really well. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it is my favorite peach cobbler recipe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
I'm making this cobbler right now. I had to improvise way more than usual lol. I only had unsalted butter (bought it on accident) so I salted my butter. Then I had no self rising flour, so I made that to. Then I realized I was not going to make it on sugar..so in the batter I used half stevia haha. Sure hope it turns out well after all that!
Can’t wait to try! It looks so good I can taste it through my iPhone! Lol... Even though I will probably use canned peaches, I do really like the method of CLEANING the peaches.
I cannot make it home with peaches no matter how hard I try lol because, I am just like my father he loved peaches and ogres and so do I he planted and planted a peach tree and those peaches 😋. Love your recipe if you have a black berry cobbler I'd love to hear and see you make it thank you happy holidays 🦃 🎄
About to make this recipe again. It is the best! My mom used to make us peach cobbler as a kid. She can't remember exactly how she used to make it so when i tried just going off what she thought was her recipe...it just wasn't the same. Since then I was on the hunt searching for a recipe that looked like hers. I couldn't believe how similar this was. Almost exact to my moms! It brought back so many great childhood memories ❤
Hey southern? I live on Long Island New York. We have peach trees. The old country people made cobblers …. Peach , blue berry , strawberry rhubarb ( strawberry colored rhubarb, no berries ) etc. I had a great aunt made quince and fig cobblers. So what is southern about your peach? I truly would like to know.

Oh I wish peaches were in season right now! I may have to try this with canned peaches!
Very new to me and I love it my friend. TFS. Stay connected 😊
This may be old-fashioned to some people, but not me. The oldest peach cobbler recipes use pie dough, not batter.
I like the batter, better than pie dough
Old fashion is with batter. My grandmother made it with batter. I don't think she knew about pie dough back in the days🤔
I hope we can all agree that batter is 10x better than pie dough/crust
6:40
That’s completely wrong. We made our own, just like she did!
This woman can Cook y'all! Awesome video
Wonderful wonderful recipe . Thank you 😊
