I'm surprised you didn't have to completely remove the bump stop as I see most people do. And I'm wondering how close you are to the lower control arms...?
To fit 305 series on my car I had to remove the bump stop completely
with the right back spacing on 18s you can get away without touching the bump stops.
BUT when ur axle goes into full droop it will rub, so
don't want to scrape up wheels if your car is up on jack stands
grounded down bump stops gets me plenty of room for safety.
What is the back spacing on the rims you selected ? I'm considering a 16 x 10" rim with a 6" backspacing..

6in BS with a 16s probably won't work in the rear.
something like 5.25-5.75 would be the ballpark for a 10in wheel.

What rear end is on this
stock 82-92 GM 10 bolt
One thing you didnt cover in this video is if the tire and wheel clears when one side is lifted up while the other is down.
It's important to test for road deviation (think pot holes or climbing curbs) and body roll around corners
A rear axle tilt like that is going to bring the top of the wheel in further than you think and could really bite you in the ass
it is a consideration
I tested this and the angle required to get wheels to rub is EXTREME.
no way you can do that during normal driving unless you are driving on a "frame twister" lol
