I’ve been doing this since May and most of my videos have come from things I’ve already had plus sellers reaching out to me here and there to review their item for an extra fee. I definitely believe you, I get excited every morning to see what items shipped out and how much I made! It’s so exciting! Plus I can take a break from making new videos and still get paid anytime I want! I haven’t even done “product research” and all that lol 🎉

I keep saying how inspiring your story is. I'd be delighted with the sort of results you've had. I have bought a few things for our home, but they've been ones we've genuinely used, and I'm glad to have the additional income. One thing to note is that outside of the US, it's a bit harder to find products - especially in the cosmetics or cleaning space - as they are often rebranded. And I'm not doing product research either, except for when I'm buying products specifically that we wanted for our home.

And also I noticed that some Amazon Influencers are tagging the wrong product on some of their videos and it is very confusing to buyers and unfair to other Amazon Influencers who tagged the right product on their video reviews. Hahaha the program is definitely still worth a shot. So it really depends but I think both styles of videos work perfectly fine. Whatever you are more comfortable with. I would say for your first 3 videos for approval though, you should have your face on camera.
Great job, Mercedes! Your delivery is natural and honest. So, I've heard numerous times from Influencers, some of whom are claiming to make upwards of 15K over the past six months, not to bother reviewing anything under $50, even if you have it in your home. I assume you strongly disagree with this. I have over 500 Blu-ray and 4K discs. Would you suggest making a video for every one of these? The problem stopping me is getting my first three videos approved. I'm on my third attempt and can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong with any of the videos. I've had the videos reviewed by a private FB group and a few friends who are already earning money in the program. All I'm getting is conflicting information. Someone says not to do or say a particular thing and then the next day I see videos doing these exact things are getting approved! Worse, is that I see incoherent videos with bad lighting, choppy editing, and TOS violations approved and running in the carousel all the time! It's very frustrating and makes me believe that Amazon is running this program blind. Congrats on your amazing success!
Amzn definitely doesn’t give clear guidelines. I’ve heard to not mention any numbers, no medical advice, no personal info. Hope that helps. Good luck! 🍀 🤞
Thank you! Like I say in the videos, I believe it's quantity over quality. If you feel like you can get a lot of video reviews made with only products over $50 then so be it. If not, I would review everything including low priced items. Low priced items may not make you outrageous money but it will make you enough to motivate you to keep going. If you don't see any commissions coming in, you will be more likely to quit and not make video reviews. You know yourself better then anyone else so you will have to make a decision on how you want to do the program. I hope that helps!

This lady I know earned around $7000 in the last couple days (prime days). She said she keeps reviewing every single thing she could find in her house, and they aren’t very expensive. Earnings went from a couple hundred bucks per day to over $1500 per day last week thanks to prime day deals. She has hundreds of reviews but she said a few items earned her the most. Very inspiring!
Wow that's AMAZING! This program really is for anyone. Anyone can take this program and generate life changing money. The problem is, it's so unreliable and inconsistent. Earnings can drop from one month to the next or even day to day. It's hard to go all in on this program.

I wouldn't change a thing. I still earn commissions on items that are low priced. Making so many videos helped me create a routine, helped me get more comfortable in front of the camera, and helped me build up my storefront and commissions.
Honestly, this is totally my opinion, but I’m in several Amazon influencer groups across different platforms… & There is a lot of catty, finger-pointing on the whole topic of, “you’re stealing all my product ideas “. I’m sure it’s going to get to the point where someone thinks that I am stealing their product review ideas lol. However, I haven’t purchased anything outside of my norm to review. Though, I did purchase three things during prime day that I have been wanting/and would make for a good videos!
That's true. I look at other peoples storefront and it looks like they are reviewing the same things as me. But that's just what happens sometimes. It doesn't mean we are "stealing" peoples products.

A random part, that you'd think wouldn't be a good product to review... well turns out, everyone else thought that.. so your the only video! and 1000s of people need that one random part! It's wild. I bought a few things that were "best sellers" and had no videos... made like 50 cents. They didn't accept my 3 vids. Said it didn't reach the quality standards. ( Idk if it's a standard msg).. do you know if it's possible to get a more info on why they didn't accepted my 3 vids?... I have the theory that might be because I downloaded the vid from my TT acc. ( But I got it without watermark). Also, it was a long time since I last posted something on my TT. Also, the audio wasn't the best. And last, I remember using the words "freaking good", and idk if that counts as poor language... Any thoughts? 😅
There could be a number of things going on. Since you have 3 attempts, I would say you should do another 3 reviews but this time try to make them as perfect as you can. If you still get declined after that, then it could be that your social media doesn't have enough engagement. It's weird but when you got accepted into make your 3 videos it's basically a robot approving you. Once you submit your 3 videos its actual humans doing the approval. So they go look at your social and if it's not what they want then they decline your 3 videos and say it "didn't meet quality standards." I know it's dumb but that's what a lot of people are experiencing.
I'll tell anyone who wants to scale but REINVEST money back into the program and use tools (extensions) & resources. Not all products are worth your time to review (.15-50 cent commissions). DATA/metrics don't lie if you want to play the long game with Amazon. Video carousel /placement DOES actually matter.
I can't help but focus on quality over quantity It's working out okay, started averaging $10 a day this week with only 20 videos, although maybe that's due to prime day, but i really need to ramp up the speed!! Anyways, been watching most your videos this past month and you're always relatable and giving me new ideas. Keep working and doing great things!

I like to show people that anyone can do this and some people don't know how to make great quality videos. I like to encourage people by saying it just takes quantity. It's true though. Some people just record on there smartphone and have poor audio. Whatever works!

You don't understand how difficult it is to get your 3 videos accepted. You got in just before Amazon started cracking down. You don't get it. Now you HAVE TO have an active social media account WITH GOOD ENGAGEMENT. And that's something I don't think you can help people with, especially since you're obviously a gregarious person who loves to talk.

I can't help but focus on quality over quantity It's working out okay, started averaging $10 a day this week with only 20 videos, although maybe that's due to prime day, but i really need to ramp up the speed!! Anyways, been watching most your videos this past month and you're always relatable and giving me new ideas. Keep working and doing great things!
Love this! Thank you for the support and I'm glad I could help! Everyone has a different strategy and if you find something that works, then keep doing it. I like to show people that anyone can do this and some people don't know how to make great quality videos. I like to encourage people by saying it just takes quantity. It's true though. Some people just record on there smartphone and have poor audio. Whatever works!

But you only make money if your followers the product you’re reviewing? As in, they need to follow your link
You can make money by links but in the Amazon Influencer Program you make most of the commission with onsite review videos.

If you are using an instagram account then that's probably why. Try using a tiktok to get in.

You don't understand how difficult it is to get your 3 videos accepted. You got in just before Amazon started cracking down. You don't get it. Now you HAVE TO have an active social media account WITH GOOD ENGAGEMENT. And that's something I don't think you can help people with, especially since you're obviously a gregarious person who loves to talk.
