Haha! I knew you were a hidden genius! 😄Thanks for this video.
Hahaha you're hilarious! I'm aways glad to help!
What a fantastic video. This is literally a masterclass on being an Amazon Influencer. There are people charging money for less information than you just shared. Thank you. 👍
Hahaha Hi Joe! I'm so glad my video was informative to you! No problem at all!
i love how honest and humble you are. thanks for another great video.
You are such a GEM!!! 💎⭐️ I love how packed your videos are with solid content and your style of condensing so much info into quick videos is amazing! I got so much value out of this video - thanks a million!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love your channel 💜💜💜
THANK YOU! I Can't thank you enough for your support!
Thank you for the behind the scenes tips I just got approved for commissions so this came in handy
1. How long g does it normally take you start to finish for the 15 videos?
2. Vertical or horizontal videos? Have you tested if there is a difference?
3. Have you tested if thumbnails actually make a difference?
Thank you for all your helpful videos.
1. It depends If I have some help I can get through 30 in a few hours. If its just me, I can get 15 videos done in about 1.5 hours from start to finish.
2. I am testing that now. I like horizontal better. I don't have too much analytics yet, but it seems that horizontal is doing better for me right now.
3. I'm still testing this out now, but by the looks of it my videos with thumbnails are doing very well. I think because it stands out from the other videos.
Hey girl, hey! Just wanted to thank you for sharing your process! You killing it over there!❤🔥❤
Hey! Thank you so so so much! I appreciate you and your support!
I got my 15 articles, and tomorrow, I will record my videos. Thank you for your guidance..
Of course! Good luck in the program!
Liked and subscribed. Thank you for making this video. Very helpful!
Thank you so much for this overview! I love how you shared about saving time and not overfilming.
Hi, thanks for taking the time to make the videos. I'm glad I found you online.
@Mercedes, showing the process with the batching of videos was super valuable. And great to see your RUclips channel growing. The first 100 subs are the hardest to get.
I'm glad I could give you a useful tip! THANK YOU! I'm so happy to see it growing as well. I gotta celebrate the small wins. Trying to hit one goal at a time. Hitting 100 subs will be sweet!
Thank you Mercedes for such great information! Much success to you!
Thank you so much!
This is what I needed!!! A workflow process Ty so much
Love this. I’ve been doing everything with iPhone and iPad so far. I have a RUclips set up but i for some reason prefer on phone.
This was so helpful. I just became eligible this week and I'm working on uploading my first 3 reviews.
That's Amazing! It's such a fun program! Congratulations!
Thank you very much Mercedes Gomez i just interesting this program and learn how to do from you, but my first step have to practice to speak English because i'm Thai
Really informational video. Loved it. One suggestion....instead of doing a screen capture for your thumbnail, you can export a still frame from the video as a .jpg while you are still in Premiere Pro. It saves time and is more efficient.
Thank you, thank you! I will take your advice and give it a try! Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I have a storefront but I just need to get started.
Thank you so much for this detailed information
My pleasure! Glad I could help!
That was awesome!!!!
Haha! Thank you so much! Glad you liked it!
This video is so helpful! Thank you for sharing this! Question: is there a difference between adding the video to your storefront vs adding them to the product page as a review?
Thank you! Glad it helped! No, there is no difference. In order for a video to go onto product pages, it has to be uploaded to your storefront.
Love the video, it helped me a lot!
You rock! Thanks for sharing. Very informative.
You Rock ! Thank you so much !!🙏🏼💕
Thank you for sharing this! So helpful!
What if you didn't like an item, do you also discuss things you don't like about it?
Thanks for the video. Very helpful
No problem! I'm glad I could help!
Great video! Thank you for sharing!
I think they make a remote you could use to start recording. That would save you time on editing out turning it on. I use the brio and the software has a 3 second timer before starting.
Also, I think if you went ahead and just took a separate thumbnail, that might save you time.
Hi, thanks for making your very informative videos. I'm glad I found you online.
Glad to help! Thank you for the support!
I just recently got accepted into the Amazon Influencer Program. I am also brand new to creating content. I was wanting to know more about the google docs spreadsheet. Do you have another video that is more in depth?
This was great and helpful to watch. Thank you. 👍
Wonderful content. Question - what type of camera do you recommend for beginners? I use my iPhone11 but want other options.
Great question! I highly recommend the Sony ZV-1. That is a great beginner camera for anyone! It gives just enough features but not too much. Also quality is great and its haas 4k capabilities.
@@mercedesgomeznow Good recommendation - I think the ZV-1 has "Product Showcase" autofocus, so it can switch between you and the product you hold in front of the camera - could be very useful for these sort of videos...
Thank you for the info. Can you do a video on setting up store front after you sign up? I cant find any info on how to do that😢
Hi, thanks for sharing the video, I do enjoy watching you. Will subscribe. Quick question, which social media did you use to apply for the influencer program? Thanks
Thank you for the support! I used TikTok and was instantly approved.
thnak you for indepth guide, please suggest the video duration, aspect ratio, no one is telling this, please help
Thank you so much❤
You're welcome 😊
Hi thank you for an amazing video! Just subscribed to your channel 🙏🏻Could you please tell me which app to you use for video screen recording ?
What is the amazon page youre going to? I have an amazon storefront, but I'm not sure where you're going to do this. Thanks
Hi Mercedes. Great vid. Do you script your product reviews or just wing it with some basic notes? Thank you
Hi! I normally just wing them. I think of some key points I want to talk about and I run with it. It comes off more natural that way.
Girl I just started and yay it's so confusing like I didn't even know I was accepted already
Thank you. Great video :)
Is it a good idea to add captions to your videos?
Yes, you can definitely do that!
Do I need to upload a seperate review in addition to the shoppable video?
Great Information, I just subscribed and saved this video...can you schedule the videos to go out like you can on RUclips or does that not really matter on Amazon?...also what type of camera are you using for your video's on RUclips and for Amazon I noticed in this video you were demonstrating how to edit thumbnails and you were showing a Nikon D3200
Thank you for the support! No, you can't schedule them to go out but that really doesn't matter for Amazon. The camera I use is the Sony ZV-1. It's a great beginner camera!
Is there a limit to the number of commission review videos Amazon will display on a product page?
Yes! It used to be 6 but Amazon is testing to expand it. The max I've seen is about 10-12.
Glad i find your channel about amazon products
can you buy items review it & return it with in 30 days?
Me too! Thank you for the support! I wouldn't recommend that because you need to make sure you keep your Amazon account in good standings. If you return too much you could mess that up.
@@mercedesgomeznow ok ty i just buy stuff i want then i'll make videos for those items
*Great video what camera do you use to record?*
Thank you! I use a Sony ZV-1.
But I need followers to get into it right?????
Yes, you will need a social media following. You don't need as much as you think though. Maybe a little over 1,000 on Instagram and a couple hundred on TikTok. You mainly need engagement.
@@mercedesgomeznow thanks. I have a couple thousand on Instagram but no matter on which device I try when I try to log into it there appears a line of code that says “Error” do you know what that is???
Awesome video thank you for the encouragement🥰. I am in the program and about to upload a video I'm just wondering is it okay to put music in the video or would it be copyrighted?
Thanks for the video. I have the amazon influencer but not seeing where to upload the videos. Can you help?
Yeah of course! You need to look for a page called "Amazon Creator Hub." If you can't find it, DM me on Instagram @mercedesgomeznow
Do you review items that do not have videos for influencers setup on the product pages?
Great question. Since I started making video reviews over every product I already had at home, I did. I make reviews on anything even if they don't have a carousel. However, If I'm going to buy a product specifically to review, I wont choose a product that doesn't have a video carousel.
Thanks for this video I have a question do you have to have an amazon store front in order to do this?
Hi, thank you so much for this helpful video! I love all the tips. I was wondering do you have any tips on getting approved for those first 3 onsite videos? Ive tried and been rejected and i know it says we only get 3 tries to be approved. Thanks!
No problem! I'm glad you got some helpful information from my video. I have a video where I talk about tips on getting approved. Here is the link.
ruclips.net/video/rFme3XcDIjc/видео.html
How many review videos have you done so far? I just got unlocked for on site commissions today, and uploaded 21 videos!
That's awesome! Congrats. I currently have 250 videos on my storefront.
Have you noticed a difference in horizontal vs vertical videos?
For me personally, horizontal videos work better. They get more views and more clicks.
Hey guys sorry for dumb question. Is this Amazon associates program? Which site do you upload it in?
Awesome vide! What is the spreadsheet that you are using? As in what are the different fields that you have placed in. Can I buy a copy of it from you? I just got approved 2 days ago and I will be done by tomorrow with my initial 3 videos. Getting through this phase is going to be difficult from what many have said but I think I know what to say and how to present as I am just using Amazon's guidelines for best practices. I am just shooting from my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus phone, so nothing in 4k. The only thing I did was purchase a nice gimbal and tripod to shoot my videos.
Looks like google sheets
What are the setting for the video rendering you are using. I use final cut pro and not sure if I should render it as a youtube/facebook 640/640 video. Any advice
Question- If we don't have a camera- do you think we can use our phone?
Oh of course! Nothings wrong with phone quality.
Ty. If I don’t have hair to brush. You think that’ll affect sales? 😂
Hello Mercedes! I just got accepted into the program and started creating videos. Would you create videos on products that dont have any videos at all posted on amazon? I have some items that only have photos on amazon and not videos
❤❤❤
I first saw this 6 months ago and I STILL have not created my 1st 3 videos! I'm such a procrastinator. Do you have a recommendation for those 1st 3?
also another question... why keep this footage. i shoot a lot and this footage is so unimportant once posted so why keep it. id love to know. I've been deleting once published.
What app or website are you using to upload these videos?
15:00 One question about this: Why do you recommend tagging only 1 product? Just curious, as I've noticed many products can be found on multiple different product pages. Why not tag all the ones that are relevant?
Good video btw! Thanks.
HI Markus! So Amazon suggested we only tag one product per video. If you have multiple products, I would suggest uploading the video multiple times and tagging a different product each time.
@@mercedesgomeznow Ah ok, good to know. Thanks!
hi! what format do you use when you save in pro premiere? :) thanks!
Content:
Overall product info
Why you purchased it
What it does
How it works
Simple facts on the product.
You cant show everything from a desk, so you just talk about what you can and dont do a lot of extra work. Really focus on shooting 15 videos at a time.
Mention if you DO recommend it at the end.
IM curious, I looked through your videos on amazon and they all look the same. they look great but they also look very "done". you don't feel that gives the impression of a non-legit review? I'm sure your reviews are legit of course I'm just saying from the consumer's view I would imagine they are looking for reality, not a well-shot video that looks staged. but I'm curious to hear your perspective as I'm just starting out and curious about this decision. This also goes for the thumbnails.
Hi, I appreciate your outlook. My input on this is that I just make my videos to try and stand out. On product pages, most of the videos are shot vertically with bad audio and video quality. My videos give off a different look and can be appealing to a customer. Also, I have tested out different kind of videos and I have found these videos to work better for me. I have a bunch of videos shot vertically from my phone so they look less "done" but they just aren't converting for me that well.
@@mercedesgomeznow oh wow ok. I’m building out my videos now and Ive been shooting high quality commercial content for years but thought for this platform the vertical was the thing considering they just launched the “inspire program” and that’s a vertical space.
Are you posting on inspire too in vertical then? I’m about 33 videos in so totally new and wanna make sure I get it right. Don’t wanna make 300 videos in vertical and regret it hahah.
Thanks for the help. Also I noticed you start all your videos with the same hook. Is there a reason for that? Thinking behind that or just easiest?
I’m aiming for 300+ videos like yourself (you inspired me) and wondering if that for ease of scripting or more intentional than that?
Also are you shooting on a DSLR or iphone? Or vlogging camera. I have em all so I’d love to know which one to use.
Again thanks so much for all the info. Go get em girl!!
@@SHEISRYAN I will make specific videos for Inspire and those are really short like 15 seconds long. For those I'll do vertical videos. I haven't done too many specifically for inspire because I was aiming at getting my videos onto product pages first. I don't know all the analytics behind how they push out inspire posts so it hasn't been a huge focus of mine yet. I totally get where you're coming from. I think you would have to test out some different videos and see what works. I personally like horizontal videos better and my results are better with them but other influencers are different. I think I will end up having a good mix of both kind of content but for now I'm sticking with horizontal. As for my hook, I just try to get straight to the point. That's what I used in the beginning and so I just stuck with it. I use a sony point and shoot camera right now because I love the 4K video quality. I'm so glad I inspired you. Follow me on Instagram, I'd love to talk further!
How do you have so many products to review?
You find them around your home or friends and family members homes. You can review anything as long as it's sold on Amazon. You can review every lotion, soap, book, game, medicine, etc.
What is footage?.
Footage is what you record.
How much do you make on average per view, per week, per month? I'm giving it a shot! 🖐🤠
What stops people from using other people's videos?
Did that happen to you? Was it another influencer that took your video? I haven't had that happen to me. I have seen where an amazon seller steals your video and uses it as there own.
wheres your influencer link?
There is a link on my About page of my RUclips channel.
How do you become a partner?
it's kind of unbelievable how beautiful you are. I got an instant crush on you tbh.

Great video! I want to be part of this program but I only have 300 followers on IG and been denied 3x. Is there another way? Any advice is great.
Thank you! Hmmm...The only way would be to build up your social media. Instagram can be difficult to grow on. You should think about trying TikTok or possibly Twitter. I grew a TikTok to 5K in about a month. I can make a video on this.
If you could that would be awesome! Love your channel. Glad I found your channel.
