  • I feel like no one really explains HOW to film and edit a good, quality Amazon review video that gets you conversions and commissions! I wanted to make a video to show everyone how I do it. My video's aren't super professional, but they are informative and interesting enough to get potential buyers to watch and hopefully buy! These are truly user-generated content videos, i.e. I actually use the products that I review so I really know how to talk about them as a consumer.
    In this video I show you how I made my most recent Amazon review video on a great pencil sharpener for the classroom. If you want to get one for yourself, you can get yours here!

    Thanks for sharing your filming technique! I also use CapCut and I’m always looking for ways to improve. I’m also a teacher and I’ve been an Amazon influencer for about 9 months. My only suggestion would be that if you’re reviewing something that makes noise, the customer probably wants to hear it. On your pencil sharpener video, I was expecting to hear the pencil sharpener (and I thought wow, that really is quiet 😆) and then I remembered that you do voiceovers. My suggestion would be to isolate that video clip where you’re talking about how quiet the pencil sharpener is and then increase the volume to normal level. I wish you success with AIP! Have a great day!

    Beautifully done. There were some surprises not mentioned but shown in the final demonstration. I would say you've got the hang of this. Thank you.

    Do you add thumbnails to your review videos? If so, how?

    Do you film side to side or vertical?

      For Amazon reviews, I've had better luck filming side to side!

      Hi! I used my Canon VIXIA HF R800 Portable Video Camera Camcorder with Audio Input(Microphone), 3.0-Inch Touch Panel LCD. I got it on Amazon! I linked in description. I use it to record my son playing field sports so I’m not sure I had the recording setting correct.

    Hey Ana! I know this is unrelated. How did you get that specific color of your little martin lx1? It's so pretty and I can't find it anywhere! Thank you

      I bought it at South Austin Guitar in 2007, so it’s been awhile, and that store no longer exists! It’s a fantastic guitar! Didn’t realize the color was rare! I think they sell them on Amazon tbh.

    How long should the video be? How much do you have to normally practice to get the timing right!?!

    • @MakerSchoolhouse
      @MakerSchoolhouse  7 месяцев назад

      I think anywhere between 1-3 minutes depending on the product you are reviewing. Anything longer and viewers lose interest, and anything shorter won't give you enough time to discuss all the important points.
