For anyone having issues with the rigid body simulation like I did, for example the circle staying in place or not dropping: Go to scene (its the little cone on the side panel) and go to Rigid Body World, then to cache and reset the baked keyframes or updated them
I know Blender like the back of my hand, yet every time I watch a tutorial like this I still get a few helpful ideas or hints I didn't think of. Thanks for sharing!
dont know if anyone cares but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can stream all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my gf for the last couple of weeks :)
I've been trying to get that cut animation for a long time now, and I thought it was basically impossible in Blender. This is an awesome way to recreate that. Thanks!
Not bad. If I might make a suggestion though, follow through with the bend as it falls by stretching the keyframes out (bend and rigid body) so they overlap. A real object being sliced like that wouldn't simply drop as gravity would give momentum, likely flipping that piece around a bit as it fell. Cut a thin slice of salami over a ledge and watch it fall to see what I mean. Obviously how much depends on thickness and the material being cut.
And also 7:12 you can see your shading two box "material output" and "principled BSDF" are attached to BSDFsurface ... In my case both are not linked...
8:07 sir can you help me ?., after going to shading nodes are not attached to each other and that's why if i an giving color on it for example white then also it stay white color because node are linked to each other so how can i connect each others? I tried left click and drag it..
When I try to assign selected vertices a different material, the object sort of deforms and mixes the red with the blue. it doesn't do what I want it to. please help!
Physics are modifiers. Is it possible you have the modifier set not to display in render? Conversely, do you have other modifiers on the object that are set not to display in the viewport? You could also have physics cache issues. Are you rendering from frame 1, or are you trying to skip the beginning?
Your looping monograph videos are pretty cool. I've been watching them all. Have you considered getting a Patreon or putting the project files on Gumroad? I’d buy

i'll be doing a more advanced version of this tutorial in the future :) i'll cover it all in that thanks for the feedback ^_^

Thank you this was nice!

nice one!!
To get the ctrl+shift left click to work, go to preferences under edit, go to add-ons, search for Node Wrangler, and turn it on.
Thank you, it was very good
more please
You got it!

It's almost Satisfying. How do we get the slice to rotate when hard body physics takes over? So the motion looks more natural.

really nice videos thank you very much! :)

do you have the node wrangler addon enabled ?
so when you create a new material in default the material output node and the principle BSDF node will be attached to each other
@@bopevfx node wrangler addon "how to enable that" and BSDF node are not attached to output i will send you that problem video clip on Instagram
Well done bro please give me your pc specs please best lighting
thx my g

is you can send me a screen shot on instagram i'm sure i can help you i can't really tell without seeing whats going on :?
thank you for your tutorials!!!

Bro, the "G Z Control isnt working.. the whole round is moving , 2:17
whenever i insert the key frame on the bigger cylinder the rigid body on the slice stops working for some reason??
help the active rigid body isnt working for me
Help! my issue is the circle falls in blender, but is not falling in rendered animation. Where is the mistake?????

My Cylinder doesnt fall after I choose the bend animation
you need to make it a rigid body
Sir am a student how can i contact you???
you can talk to me on my instagram @shehanbope :)
i understand that you know how to do that. But if u want to make tutorials you need to tell us where to find everything u use.
