I'm the only one in my family that has this! I'm 37 now but when I had my daughter at 19 I asked if she had 5 fingers and toes the Dr and nurses looked at me crazy 😂 but it usually runs in families. Thanks for showing the process I've never seen it before!
My sons digit is tied and I keep referencing this video to see what is/isn’t normal. His has a little discharge around it but it looks like that’s not of concern. Thank you for posting!❤️
Thank you so much for this video I was also born with 12 fingers and they were tied off and put in mini bags so they fell off in the bags and for the longest time I thought they looked like jus baby fingers. Hi is it possible for this digit to fall off automatically my lo finger has started to swell and the bridge in between has become too narrow. Can u explain me what will the process look like if the self amputation has started ? Step wise if u can reply also if u can tell me how long will it take to fall off
I had that. It runs in my family. My mom... brother... aunts... and cousins all have em... but none of our children. And from what I understand... mine were tied off just like this.
Thank you for posting this! We tied our babys extra digit and it went a little purple. Two days later it went back to the normal color so we tightened it again. It then went super purple and looked like a blister. It eventually went away and now half of the finger is dark purple while another part is regular skin color. Maybe were not tightening it enough?
It's a nice video for show people whose sixth fingers are small, it's horrible to see this, the sixth finger bigger should never be amputed, just the small one
My older brother was born on a military base with an extra Digit. However the doctors did not tell my mother. They used the tie off method and covered his handAnd when no one was around she took the cover off to discover a purple extra finger dangling almost off. 😮
Usually for aesthetic reasons and because they want "normal" children, they literally have no problem with having extra fingers, they are just cruel to their own children

It is normal to have 6 fingers. There are many people,who have them. Understand that,first. Dont do such acts,because you dont have one, and you dont see the majority of others who are gifted with it.
It’s written in the Bible look it up. They are called descendants of Nephilim. God describes the Nephilim as being giants and having six fingers or toes. Please look into it.

Maybe check with the doctor who tied it? It should get thin at the “root” of it then fall off from there

Omg!!! Crazy! They told us during an ultrasound early on. How old is your brother?
If it’s a fully functional and fully developed finger, why remove it?
@@CoolNinja925 in our case it was not fully functional. No bone was in it. Just skin. I can't speak for others.

Yes its so hard to watch your baby go through it but God made our bodies so amazing they heal themselves quickly!
Did you just clean it with soap and water and didn’t cover it?
@@Indij we didn’t do any soap and water just aquaphor on it with a q tip and put baby mittens on him so he wouldn’t keep hitting it

Why did you hurt him. Just leave them what they was created with for good purpose. He might of needed them fingers.
Woundlt be easier on the child just to numb it and then surgically remove it

This process was like this because there was bone at the bottom of the finger this normally should be surgery
From what I understand if there was bone surgery is the only option. When its just extra digits with no bone they do this tie off.
