This is what I wanted to learn, thank you so much for sharing. You mentioned purchasing a video of this so I need the information on how to make the purchase. Thank you again.
@@MelissaChilcotinChar thanks love! I appreciate that. I've been an avid beader for years.. but mostly brickstitch and loom @kokumsjewelrybox. Excited to start stitching circles :D
Hey girl!! I would like to request any thing related to ADVANCED edging, I don't know if there is such a thing LOL.. I am a gal who likes different unique things. All the edging is the same. I would ike to see and know how's for advanced EDGES!!!
Yes a full video, can't really tell among the matte black an gun metal , but how did it come out as steps with the gun metal an matte black. It's confusing. What I would like to learn is the Edging an putting a medallion together. It's my very first time beading a medallion.
So im right handed like you. Attempted successfully few weeks ago however I work downward rather than upward...i find that odd. Not sure theres a way for me to flip that?
I ran out of thread and I am nowhere near done with my one hooped earring. How can attach more thread? I've seen videos here on RUclips but they show it on a flat piece. I desperately need help.
I buy my hoops from Walmart or Ardene's. I usually try to buy Multi packs and the hoops are thin but, not too thin. I like to be able to get 7 delica beads (size 11's) around the hoop somewhat tightly.
Much respect but I just started and my question is whydoyou count beads and i do a design by trial and error .But i still cant make my design match .How do you draw a pAttern and how do you know how to count .Ive been learning off you tube .Thankyou
I hold it pretty good the whole way through. If you're using Delica beads and decent sized hoops. It should stay pretty tight with 7 beads around. BUT, depending on the thickness of the hoop itself you'll have to gage if 7 beads around is too much or too little. Not all hoops earrings are made the same thickness. If it helps, I bought my hoops from Walmart.
@@delilahjoles6260 oh I see. Just remember if you do an even number count of beads that you'll be stringing your thread through a couple beads a couple times and it'll look a little busy but, it is doable. That's why I like my odd number count, 5, 7, 9, 11, etc.
So every bead added you are skipping one bead the whole way through? And beginners design will be amazing. I love your still of teaching, thanks for the videos.
@@MelissaChilcotinChar thank you so much I've been wanting to try making these earrings. Also I'm watching your video on making the beaded rope wristlet. Thank you for the videos
@@MelissaChilcotinChar Hi I don't mean to bother you but can I use 11/0 round seed beads and how many would I use? I can't find my black delica beads so I'm asking if I could use my miyuki round seed beads instead
You could use round seed beads, they just won't stay put as nice as the Delica's. I would try to stay with an odd count of beads. Try 7 if not, try 5 or 9 depending on the thickness of the hoop earrings.
This is definitely a different look to tubular peyote. I'm so used to hearing people say after so many beads then you need to do a 'step up' for the next row. It looks like your Technique is a little bit different?
I totally understand what your saying “step up” technique! And I’m trying to learn you way because it is beautiful work❤️ Thanks for sharing your technique💯
This was great, I have wandered how to do this. I am so happy to have found you.
Your video is amazing I learnt forst try !!!! Thank youuuuuuuuu👌❤️

Nope, no videos to buy. They're available here on RUclips for free ☺️
Thank you so much for sharing. Your video really helped me now I know how, so grateful for your video 🤩
I haven't done peyote stitch in a while but may try it w my hoop earrings👍☺
I was wondering how to find the patterns you use for earrings and the neck rope?
Thank you for these videos.Do you think you could make a video showing how you sew interfacing or leather around a hoop?
Yes, I can do that. I have hoop earrings that are not as thick that I can do that with.
Thank you for watching ❤️

If you're talking about Edge work for flat beadwork. I'm down ☺️ I know a couple other styles that I've tried in the past and that I've liked. ☺️
In case no one told you, interfacing is used to reinforce collars, cuffs, waistbands, etc when making clothing

What thickness of a hoop are you using? 7 beads is too many beads on my 2mm thick hoops 😢
Thank you for sharing. How do you end?
Have you ever used other size beads for those hoop earrings? Like size 13 Charlottes-cut or 15 seed beads?
Yes, I've used tri-cuts(11s), Charlotte true cuts (13s) and Toho (15s).
So im right handed like you. Attempted successfully few weeks ago however I work downward rather than upward...i find that odd. Not sure theres a way for me to flip that?
What size bead are you using?
Love it
Hi! Could you do a video on how to end these?
It's not the same earring but, this is a video on how I end it the earrings.

How do you remove the triple screen. Hard to watch when it is so small. When I zoom out it all goes off screen n I can’t see what you are doing. Musi

Oh no 😱 I'm working on a new upload this weekend on how I tie off my bigger hoops, start again and tie off when I finish.
Is there a word chart or graph for this?
No, not at this moment. Hopefully in the near future 😊
do you have pattern for this video?
Oh so you didnt use interface here, what made you use it in another video?
When I first started making hoop earrings, I used interface. I used in the other video to show how you could use it if you wanted to ☺️

Lol yes, twice 😊

I found mine at our local dollar store.
Does it get tighter towers the end? Mine are still pretty loose?

Melissa ChilcotinChar thank you I think I need to do 6 around it’s not super loose but still can move :/ I got my hoops from joanns I think

Yes, all the way start to finish 👍🏽 and thank you. I'm working on more videos ☺️
So are you using delica beads? Sorry I was confused. If you use 11/0 round beads how many would you start with
Thank you
Yes, I use 11/0 Delica beads and use 7 beads around. Start with 7 beads.
