Mr. Wallman I am so very sorry this happened. Thank the Lord you and your wife are safe. Even though the damage you could see what a beautiful home and the love put into it. You were so very polite to the interviewer and a much stronger person than I to be able to answer those questions right after loosing so much. My heart was breaking for you and your wife. You both are in my prayers.

Brett, is there any way for us to help the farmer and his wife? That's my old neck of the woods and it hurts my heart to see this. Iowa farms are the backbone of this country.
    Excellent drone work btw

Why do they built just movie sets the US? European houses would have a few roof damages.

What are you talking about? That's a real farm. I used to live in that area. Every farm in Iowa looks like that.

Couple things, even brick structures will be destroyed in powerful enough tornadoes. Two, you heard the man, 50 years and nothing like that, it would be astronomically expensive to build every home in the potential path of a tornado in the US out of poured concrete or block. Most of these homes are 70+ years old anyways, some over 100. People had to build with what they could afford at the time. It's part of the game, that's why you have home insurance. Spend 1.5 million building a bunker of a house, or spend 300k on a framed home and 150 bucks a month for homeowners insurance, and have that 1 in 300 year chance of a tornado destroying it.
