Just want to let it be known that I’m just an autistic kid with ADHD and that it’s hard for me to control my emotions at times. So I’m sorry if parts of the video may be cringy, but please don’t leave any mean or annoying comments about it. Any mean or annoying comments will be removed. If you don’t like the video then please simply just leave it. Thanks for watching! UPDATE: Also now that I think about it, this probably actually wasn’t golf ball sized hail but some of the hailstones were atleast around 1 inch big and the winds were gusting near or around 60-70 mph especially at the beginning. Thanks for over 500 likes and 20K views!
Please don't apologize for who you are. The people in this world that don't understand or have issues with who you are, are not worth your time even worrying about.
Great video, thank you! That was some storm. ❤ For those of you making fun of the size of the hail & the wind speed, some people on the spectrum see and feel things much more intensely than neurotypicals. The world is so much nicer when we're kind. ❤
You done a great job at capturing such an intense thunderstorm. The opening shot of the dark clouds in the distance with the siren being heard in the background was menacing enough for me to hold my attention. Thank you for sharing the video!
I was in a tornado when I was 8 years old in a mobile home. I was terrified everytime it clouded up until I was in my 20's. I'm 59 now and have made peace with those monsters. I have great respect for tornadoes now, that's for sure.
Also important to remember that it's not always 'emotional' anxiety! It can be a medical reaction to the sudden low barometric pressure. I actually have to take medication during extreme tornadic weather. If you're not sure if there's a tornado and you have a tornado warning, always best to seek shelter. That sounds like a broken record but I've been in that situation, and you may have only seconds to get there! And just to clarify, the tornado siren will not sound during the entire tornado threat, only upon their issuing the warning, and possibly a second time if it's upgraded to confirmed or life threatening. You did a great job filming this!! Stay safe!
This is really good footage of some pretty dramatic and intense weather. Speaking personally, I've never seen anything like it (living in the benign ol' UK!), and it's fascinating how quickly the weather turns from lovely Spring weather, to a dark, rain-wracked apocalypse. Nothing to apologise for. Your honesty is appreciated, and kudos for some terrific filmwork!
2 stay as calm as u was recording all of this is remarkable, some people would of run 2 shelter, being a uk resident I've never really seen weather like this so total respect 2 u, ur an amazing person and what u do is equally amazing, never forget that❤❤❤
I lived in Security, Colo. (about 12 miles south of Colorado Springs) in the late 50s through middle 60s. I remember the huge storms like this, even before the sirens were installed. Huge hail and rivers of rain rushing down the street, and having to reroof our house afterwards. Something to remember! Thanks for a great video!
Hi from England, i love storms, I'm not a person who is good in the heat, thank you for posting this storm, it's hot here in England and watching your storm made me alot happier. 🌧🌨🌩🙂
Me too I live in America in Texas I love hearing the storm and rain it's calming to me but I don't like being in it. It's hot where I live too so wish it would rain hard over here.🙂⛈️
Wow! That is one crazy storm! I love footage of storms they are so cool! At least there isn’t a lot of wind. Not yet I’m over halfway through the video and still no wind gusts so that’s at least good no wind damage. But hail damage maybe! Love the video
Nice video. I was impressed with the editing, transitions and the captions too. I find stormy weather quite calming…but that hail and the thought of a tornado would make anyone anxious. Thanks for sharing..
That was quite the storm. I love seeing hail bounce, do you? I was surprised that I couldn’t hear thunder after all that lightning. Please keep sharing storm videos with us. ⛈️⚡️
Thank you for sharing this with all of us!! You did an amazing job getting a lot of the shots!! I live near the Gulf Coast in Alabama and we just started Hurricane Season, 6/1 - 11/30 Hopefully we wont have any major hurricanes this year!!!! Keep up the good work with your videos!!!!
I think you did an amazing job capturing the storm. I liked the raw emotion it proves you are a human being with feelings sympathy and empathy. Storms are scary and you were brave to film in the first place! Never feel the need to apologize for being amazing. Thank you for sharing this with us. God bless you and your family❤
A few months ago a tornado struck a tree in our backyard here in eastern Pennsylvania. That tree fell right into our living room and caused considerable damage. Luckily we were all overseas. We’re still waiting for a couple of windows to be replaced. Very very scary but thank God no one was hurt.
I enjoy a good thunder storm, but here in the UK they're rarely cataclysmic. If I was in your part of the world I'd be a tad nervous too. Thanks for the video, matey, it was enjoyable :)
Thank you for kindness sharing this video with us.. you did a fantastic job.. we all appreciate you with all my kindest truest respectful words melody aka lostgirl 💕😊
First and foremost keep yourself safe!! Thank you for sharing your scary weather. I live in Scotland we don't tend to get seriously violent thunder storms, Tornadoes aren't unknown here but nothing like on the scale you guys see. It's amazing how quickly they get going isn't It? We get really intense wind storms in the winter, when there's no leaves on the trees so they don't tend to get uprooted.
I'm from serbia last year we had supercell with hail 5cm in diameter and 80mp/h winds and a second thunderstorm with 8cm hail size. They said that this year thunderstorms will be much worse posibly with tornadoes.
You are braver than I. Saw one of these supercell storms in AZ and hid in the upstairs hallway till my husband came home. Thanks for sharing the rain though.
Watching these kinds of storms approach always makes me nervous, because you never quite know what's going on behind that leading cloud - you're not alone in that! This is a great video!
Brilliant video young man, I have always had a fascination with storms and dramatic weather from when I was young,I'm 63 now and still the same. I loved your video and look forward to seeing more👍👌👏👏👏🇬🇧I have never seen weather as extreme as this in my country
Your reactions are a lot calmer than some other videos I've seen where people are yelling at the top of their lungs. Being in front of a storm is a terrifying and humbling experience, I've been chasing storms myself for a number of years. It's a rather courageous thing to do, I think.
No need to apologize. Once you’ve been through a really severe storm, it can definitely trigger your fear with subsequent storms later on. I went through this any time it even rained after id been through a tornado that came up during the night. Even the sight of storm clouds would make my anxiety go up for years afterwards. Very neat video. Almost felt like I could feel the wind and smell the rain as it came in.
Well, that was excellently shot with no cringe moments at all. Glad it turned out to be just an intense storm and not a twister. I love extreme weather, though, once we had our first tornado alert ever, I wanted to be in the downstairs apt, but they weren't home, so I remained upstairs which was creepy. Only some wild winds and distant thunder, so turned out fine. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for making and sharing this video. I love exciting weather like that as long as everyone is safe and no damage. Here in SoCal we don't get to see much of that. That was pretty cool.
I was in a restaurant that took a direct hit from lightning. It short circuited the electrical power and we were forced to evacuate in the pouring rain due to possible fire. It was very scary and we were told the building glowed green when it was hit. Ever since, I run for cover when lightning is near. Weather is no joke.
I'm 60 years old, NT, and grew up in Florida, so I've lived through decades of hurricanes and tropical storms. And the scariest storm I went through was a hailstorm with winds and torrential rains just a couple of years ago. So frankly, I thought you were pretty darned brave throughout this storm. You handled the filming and commentary very well. Actually, I too kept saying "Oh my God!" so I can relate. Thank you for filming and sharing, and I hope your house didn't sustain any damage.
Hey great video! Thanks for sticking your neck out to capture that intense hail! Boy I have never seen such hail! Honestly though, that looks like penny-sized at least on the patio. But I guess the hail does shatter upon impact, since it’s falling at 90 mph. Lastly, yeah, those were impressive gusts too 😊👍🏼🌩️
You did a great job! I’m 60 and was ADHD before people understood it. Now I’m a nurse and I help people. How I cope with “power surges” is I find the next right thing to do to help the situation, and go do it. You filmed and made good observations- you noted the green sky, etc. who knows, you might go into meteorology and find a way to give people earlier warnings. Awesome job!
Thank you for sharing your video! I know it’s a year later, but we had a bad storm a few weeks ago with high winds and hail. I live outside of Houston and we don’t get tornadoes, when our storm happened I got so scared! I’m 44 and was crying, asking my husband what do we do 100 times, paced back and forth………storms like this are very scary! Your emotions are valid, understandable, and justified hun❤️❤️
I’ve been through the same- just with no 70-80 mph winds- but we did get quarter and golf ball hail ( a few pieces were hen egg 2 inches ) but other than that we did not get hit by a tornado.
Man you guys get some pretty crazy weather in Iowa. Im in Connecticut and this is for the most part the worst we get and its really very rare. Thanks for sharing.
This is an example of classic tornado weather and its interesting. Before all the hail and rain, it seems the winds and Mother Nature had already decided what the plan was at about the 4:19 mark in the video. There was no rain yet, but the winds were starting to whip around. The instability had started. Gotta love Mother Nature. Even the winds with semi clear skies and were fast and unstable at the 4:19 mark. Winds were whipping before the tornado! I think I would get a heart attack.
I understand being afraid of severe storms. We had a line pass close to my home and it dropped, golf-ball to tennis ball sized hail here in Arkansas. The ice had spikes on them, looked like medieval weapons. Cool video, that was a lot of hail and high winds.
Hi, this is Jermey McGuire. I’m under a severe thunderstorm watch here in Live Oak county, Texas near Lake Corpus Christi. The severe thunderstorm watch could go into a severe thunderstorm warning, I Love watching thunderstorm vises.” It’s now thundering out my window right now! I was born and raised in Texas and i remember being TERRIFIED as a kid. I think i was 11yrs old when i learned a tornado was an act of nature. I seriously thought it was a monster! Imagine having that on video 😂 You did an excellence job. 🤗
Apologize for nothing !! I love how your moments of pure emotion really gave me a feel for how powerful this storm must have been in person. I love how you gave us different angles, and view points. You captured this storm perfectly. But holy crap that hail pile up on the deck must have been insane to experience. I’ve never seen such a thing. ❤
I love watching storms approaching- gusty winds, green sky and people scamping about before the rains come down. My only issue is when hail forms; the small stuff is ok but the bigger ones make me think about my skylights! Good job recording this one!🌂⚡️⛈️
Do not apologize dude, your video is narly and that storm looked tornadic.. Iowa is tornado 🌪 alley.. went through a storm in Ohio last June that was one of the worst I have been through, we had 80-90mph winds with gusts up to 94, it hit after midnight and another storm came through at 4 am.. nothing like being woken up by tornado sirens, it was not a tornado that went through.. your video was great 👍
That was a lot of hail!!! As it was coming in, it looked like you could see some microbursts coming out of the clouds in the distance as well (which can look like a tornado if they're narrow in scope. . .)!
You done. Very good to cover the storm, I myself get a little short of breath and kind of on edge when things like this happen. It's human nature, you done wonderful and don't worry about if anyone says anything negative, Great job!
Not far is the video. Read your message. Please don’t say sorry. I can really understand how you felt and I don’t have any mental things. This is scary!! The sirens, the warnings, the sky, don’t worry please. I also overreact a bit with storms. But in that moment that is how I feel. And this is how you felt!! And that is completely normal!! Great video!!! ❤❤❤
Good job making this video. I’ve watched weather videos that are not steady-handed and annoyingly aimed at the ground or car interior rather than the storm. You did a good job with this, kid. Interesting storm, don’t know if it produced a tornado later, but if it was sucking up dust it was just a matter of organizing.
I was on holiday in manhatten and philly at end of June this Yr an we seen some insane storms. I was glued to the weather channel watching all these warning fornur area. I was so excited as I from Scotland and we get nothing like this here. I love a storm 🥰🥰
My son has Autism and adhd too so please don’t apologize. I would be very afraid too..and so would my son. You reacted the way a lot of people would, you did a wonderful job!
Being October now, we're out of our thunderstorm season. Next month starts our potential tornado season. If we tornadoes, it happens between November and April. This last February I had one of those pencil thin tornadoes move over the lake in my backyard and between mine and my neighbors house. Not too bad. Now in February 2020, we had 4 tornadoes within 1 mile. One of which was only about 150 feet away and did damage. Exciting and scarey. And in April 2011 I saw golf ball size hail for the first time. Scared me. I never saw any that size before. That storm ended up producing a significant twister about 2 miles after it passed me. I got lucky. The temperature went from 88⁰ to 54⁰ in about 10 minutes time. It smelled of pine SO strong outside due to the hail destroying all the pine trees.
Can anyone explain like I'm five why hail is associated with tornados? I can comprehend why hail might fall, but I don't understand why big hail falls during warm weather and why it is indicative of a tornado.
So my Question for tornado Alley is why isn’t it just part of building a home to have a safe room or storm shelter. I feel like it should just be part on new builds. Even if there hasn’t been a tornado for 5 years you could have two next month. I just can’t wrap my head around it, coming from an area that doesn’t have them but maybe 1 in a hundred years. Can someone explain this to me?
Just want to let it be known that I’m just an autistic kid with ADHD and that it’s hard for me to control my emotions at times. So I’m sorry if parts of the video may be cringy, but please don’t leave any mean or annoying comments about it. Any mean or annoying comments will be removed. Storms like this fascinate me and scare me at the same time! Thanks for sharing!
At least it wasn't golf ball size hail it was pea-size hell or should I say nickel size hail😊
People just don’t understand the anxiety storms can give someone.
I can. I’m one of them.😮

As it was coming in, it looked like you could see some microbursts coming out of the clouds in the distance as well (which can look like a tornado if they're narrow in scope. . .)!
Great video! Good job😊 We just had 6 tornados in our area in SW Michigan and two were just North and the other just South of our little town.
You done. Very good to cover the storm, I myself get a little short of breath and kind of on edge when things like this happen. It's human nature, you done wonderful and don't worry about if anyone says anything negative, Great job!
Great video, well done young man.
That green sky is a sign of hail, just so you know for the future.
Good job.
I was on holiday in manhatten and philly at end of June this Yr an we seen some insane storms. I was glued to the weather channel watching all these warning fornur area. I was so excited as I from Scotland and we get nothing like this here. I love a storm 🥰🥰
Wow ! Take care & stay safe !!
Thankyou for making this - my Autistic son loves storms and loved your video!
Great video, keep up the amazing work My brother.👍
Outstanding job. Please make more!
Awesome video! I love watching storms like this!
You could probably find out through Google.
Coming from someone who has a fear of windstorms (anything over 40mph gets my heart racing) i totally get it. Althought i tend to get quiet.
That hail didn't look golf ball size. Looked pretty small actually.
