Imagine having the confidence to film the person making your order and THEN be rude to them and THEN post it. I would die
One of the most annoying things to me, as a chipotle worker, is that people get quadruple portions of rice and then I go and clean the lobby and they have only eaten half of their bowls. And ofc they’re too lazy to throw it away themselves.
i have a family
chad it’s 12am gts (ik time zones exist im /j)
Harassing food service employees, especially harassing younger people, needs to be banned in some way.
The way the CEO paused for a second and then said “women” says everything about the kind of person he is
Can we agree that employees aren't to blame for a corporation's greedy bullshit?
The ceo shifting blame to the workers is absolutely insane behavior
When has harassing people being paid minimum wage become okay?
bro i say it all the time, some people literally come into restaurants looking for a fight because they know service workers can’t fight back. they just want someone to take out their anger on.
"YOU GON' HAVE TO HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE!!"
Chipotle the chain doesn't operate in my country, but I've seen people do this shit to Subway workers. One time I saw a teenage girl working there throw the sub on the floor before ripping her apron off and walking out the front door after a group of ADULTS started filming and harassing her. I hope she's well these days.
The truly insane part of this for me is that even with a "smaller" portion at Chipotle, it's still SO MUCH FOOD
The CEO literally advising people to act huffy with employees to get more food made me so mad.
I used to work at Chipotle when I was 16/17 and I would get yelled at for portionings all the time from managers and customers. One lady got so mad at me that she started cussing me out for not being able to give her more rice while a manager was literally working the grill behind me. I said I was sorry about it but I couldn't give it to her unless she paid and she said “You’re not sorry” before yelling at me through the whole line and even emailed the field leader. Even the man behind her smiled and told me “you’re okay.” The GM then yelled at me even more after that bc I argued with a customer even tho I never raised my voice and he yelled at the line people the night prior about our over-portioning. Plus the fact I was forced to work closing shifts as a minor and sometimes we wouldn't be done til 12 am. Employees are really not at fault for the proportion problems and even managers have higher-ups breathing down their backs. I think people should just stop eating at Chipotle because the company does not care about anything other than making money.
With the thousands of videos out there from current and former service workers explaining about how shitty it feels to be relentlessly harassed by customers you'd think that more people would stop harassing them smh.
Most of this is
If you don't like the way chipotle is treating you, ✨don't eat there✨
I’m a supervisor at a fast food place and I always tell my employees, if a customer is giving you attitude, call me over, it’s my job to deal with dickheads, nothing angers me more than managers who just sit there and allow their employees to be treated like dirt
