As someone who spent many years in the dial-up era of the Internet, I still get a little irritated at the waste of bandwidth when someone makes a video that clearly could have been a still image. The only consolation is that there is so little motion in these videos that there is probably a lot of compression taking place. And really, the image doesn't add much to the text, so you could get rid of the image altogether and just post the text. And reflecting upon the text, there doesn't seem to be any content to it other than circular reasoning and obvious statements, so that can be edited out as well. There you go, I just saved that TikTok guy a whole lot of time.

Yep, literally had what is now an ex use the whole "she's not like other girls" with one of his guy friends. He went on to explain that I cook him truffle burgers and gourmet dishes like that (I have known him for over 3 years at this point, so not inappropriate), and that I've paid for him when going out to eat (yes, I paid, only because I was hanging out with him at the time and I wanted to eat out). I immediately didn't feel good about him saying that at all about me, seeing how out of context it was. He also told me his friend had some look about me not doing enough for him. I let it play it though. And the guy I hung out with came back to tell me a few days later that I wasn't spending enough money on him. I hung up due to how grossed out with him I still am. Be wary, women, when guys say that cr@p. There's an agenda behind it more often than not.

I realized that I am very good at reading people and identifying unhealthy relationships IF I'm not excited about the person. If I have a crush, my brain goes out the window. On a physiological level, I assume that my chronically understimulated brain is getting a hit of dopamine and wants more. I know it's a cliche, but after a lot of lessons learned the hard way I've come to believe that real love usually doesn't feel exciting. It's usually calm and quiet and consistent, which were never qualities I gravitated toward. But I try to now.

As someone who spent many years in the dial-up era of the Internet, I still get a little irritated at the waste of bandwidth when someone makes a video that clearly could have been a still image. The only consolation is that there is so little motion in these videos that there is probably a lot of compression taking place.
And really, the image doesn't add much to the text, so you could get rid of the image altogether and just post the text.
And reflecting upon the text, there doesn't seem to be any content to it other than circular reasoning and obvious statements, so that can be edited out as well.

Yep, literally had what is now an ex use the whole "she's not like other girls" with one of his guy friends. He went on to explain that I cook him truffle burgers and gourmet dishes like that (I have known him for over 3 years at this point, so not inappropriate), and that I've paid for him when going out to eat (yes, I paid, only because I was hanging out with him at the time and I wanted to eat out). I immediately didn't feel good about him saying that at all about me, seeing how out of context it was. He also told me his friend had some look about me not doing enough for him.
I let it play it though. And the guy I hung out with came back to tell me a few days later that I wasn't spending enough money on him. I hung up due to how grossed out with him I still am.

If I have a crush, my brain goes out the window. On a physiological level, I assume that my chronically understimulated brain is getting a hit of dopamine and wants more.
I know it's a cliche, but after a lot of lessons learned the hard way I've come to believe that real love usually doesn't feel exciting. It's usually calm and quiet and consistent, which were never qualities I gravitated toward. But I try to now.
