I have a question. For some reason I cannot release the slide on my Mauser HSC without inserting a mag. Any ideas what could be wrong?

@@dmwgunvideos2045 How strange, the manual that came with it shows that you can release it by pulling back on it. Could it be a manual for a newer version of the gun or something?
@@AlcatrazIsland5 not sure. I have two of these and they both operate the same way. Sorry I can’t be of more help
