Dude if that was their plan all along this was the most inefficent way possible to make it happen. They could have just put those fights together right away and at least try to shift the blame. The way it went down Khamzat is the only one whos public image took a huge hit while all the other fighters gained in popularity, including Nate and Tony who both will now have a much more competetive fight.

Yeah she usually knows her stuff, definitely one of the more professional people covering the sport. As far as i know working with the ufc in Las Vegas is pretty much her first job, shes doing it for about a decade now. Also shes married to an ex fighter which probably helps.

UFC scripted this well. Nate openly said he doesn't want to fight khamzat and he didn't ask for this fight, which means he knows he will lose this fight easily. So UFC came up with this whole drama backstage and changed fights according to people's needs.
