The moment home boy said "I got lots of tools and we can come back every week and do business" I knew he was buy them from dope fiends who are robbing home depot. Hood game 101..
I worked with a bunch of contractors and they would only buy a new tool if they absolutely needed it and you better believe it was getting used the first day. Nothing expensive ever sat in a box sealed.
It didn’t get sold because he doesn’t look the part. You have to come dressed just a step below businesses casual and speaking with some sense. He looked to anxious to make a deal and get cash in his hand
@@growinlegit nope 75 employees a company that had been around for nearly 100 years roofing, siding, windows and remodeling all separate departments. We would use the same power tools until they literally fell apart or died. Mainly dewalt so not low end tools either. There was never any new in box tools sitting there waiting to replace broken ones they were only bought as needed. I was in remodeling so we had the most tools by far. When Paslode guns first came out they bought 2 for our department opened and used the same day
If the tool sellers grandad had big contracting business, wouldn't they be working for him? They would need those tools for work. Oh , wait they just want the money from selling his tools, because, they don't work. Robbing their own grandma? Shame, shame, shame...
As a contractor who has had his tools stolen I thank you for not purchasing that stuff. I learned to engrave my tools where it wont be seen and photograph them. I bought back some of my tools from a pawn shop but had no proof whatsoever they were already mine. Live and learn. Love your shop, so much cool stuff, wish I lived closer. I'd buy that Chucky doll for my grandson. :)
Just started the video. The Pasload nailers still had the factory seal on them. (the orange zip tie by the handle)They came straight from the store they stole them from.
They don’t always steal them. Sometimes they use fraudulent credit cards to buy expensive items like those nail guns. I used to work at HD in NY. They once caught some guy in Georgia ordering 3 snowblowers online with fake credit cards.
I work as an RN on a Surgical Unit. I had a patient about 8 years ago. He told me he's done everything under the sun. He also was a paraplegic and living in a Northern Ontario climate. So up where I live it gets to be - 32 Celcius during winter without windchill. He would require minimal assistance into his wheelchair and he'd leave during the night for a smoke in the frigid cold. Now I've never smoked, but he told me " I've quit everything else you can imagine, by he couldn't quit smoking. He's like it's the worst addiction ever. It's always stuck with me because I could see why my mother struggled all those years to quit. I'm glad I've never smoked in my life. Happy five years Pete!! Love the videos as always!!!
Pete you should have asked the guy when his grandfather passed away and then checked the manufacturer date of when the tool was produced. Every reputable tool manufacturer puts a made date on the tool for warranty purposes. But more than likely that dude walked into Home Depot or Lowes and came out running!!!
Two of the most expensive items Home Depot sells! Ridiculous, we bought a used panel from craigslist a few years ago and it was still 150 bucks. Not cheap
He is 100% right, I tried everything and the only way I could stop smoking was to just stop. I told myself one morning if I smoke a cigarette today the world will come to an end 🔚 that's the mindset you have to have to quit.
Why would anybody care that somebody got over on a corporation like Home Depot or Lowes ? You do realize the billionaires bring in the fentanyl right ? The billionaires want open borders ? The bottom 90% of Americans have gotten steadily poorer since 1971 ?
Yes it would be put in evidence till the case is over the 0rob is my the time u get it back its lost its value ex they take phone from 2020 brand new u get it back 2 years later 5 phones have been Released since ce know its worthless
Honestly I kinda felt like his thinking was his wife didn't need it or to spend that kind of money but he didn't want to straight up say in front of other people/camera "we don't have the money to waste/it could be used better" Just speaking from interactions with my husband..
I did the same exact thing, but with heroin. Made up my mind and in that moment, I was recovered. 3 days of maintenance, 2 weeks of hell, that was 80 months ago, and I never looked back. I do occasionally smoke or vape though, some days it's just the gum, or nothing. I won't let anything get on top of me ever again... Great show!❤ (And I truly am thankful for everybody that helped me along the way, but it really did start with that one thought of "enough")
Shit when I kicked rx opiates sprinkled with use of heroin all I could get, huge habit, huge tolerance it took me 2 months before I felt human again, after 9 days I stopped vomiting and shatting myself but I was sick for 2 months fr fr
I quit cocaine at the same time my fiance spent 30 days in a rehab hospital in 1988. We were going to get married in the Summer of 1989 but we decided we had to stop snorting cocaine and smoking crack and start behaving like adults first. He had great insurance so he spent 30 days (at a cost of $1000 per day) at Charter Hospital, which was supposed to be the best. I went to AA meetings because I couldn't afford anything else and I was quitting alcohol too. I was done with all of it! I never used cocaine again, and I didn't drink at all for 18 years. Now I drink rarely, one or two beers about once a month. My fiance bought crack on his way home from the hospital, went right back to that addiction. I didn't want to leave him, but I had to move out so that I wouldn't get sucked back into that terrible life. 9 months after he left that hospital, he died of a heroin OD. The coroner thought it might have been his first (and last) experience with heroin, because there was only one needle mark, and his friend witnessed him being injected by someone they met at a bar. He was terrified of needles and used to faint at getting blood drawn at the doctor's. He died on Mother's Day 1989. Just 4 months before the date we had chosen for our wedding.
11/15/15 brother, we do recover ❤. I got deep into sweets and put on a lot of weight in recovery, I found the damage stopped that day in '15 but the healing started when I hit the gym and converted to Orthodoxy. Give em a go, you won't regret it. Half the sht we eat is more damaging than opis unironically.
First guy with the chucky doll is really an ideal costumer. He understood the business (offered fair price when shown the true value) and didn’t mind the camera even when you offered to cut it out.
No. That guy had no clue what he had, or did and was trying to get more money. The doll he had is only a couple years old, not 25-30, or one going for $500. He had a cheap Spirit of Halloween doll, which sell for $100.
@@thatonemovieguy-h4b he clearly looked up prices on eBay and saw some asking prices, like most annoying high ballers do, but he at least understood those are “asking prices”. I’ll give you he probably didn’t know how to look up sold listings until Peter showed him. Once Peter said between 100-150 he said 75 and that was fair even as a starting price. A common sense pawn shop deal maker.
I'm a smoker for many years (more than you) and bought that book at full retail price several years ago but only read a couple chapters. Maybe this video is my sign from the universe to seriously read it and stop the madness.
When I was a kid my father would give me 1$ and send me to the store to buy 2 packs of cigarettes. I got to keep the change, 10 cents. That was enough to buy a bag of penny candy and that made me the most popular kid on the block. BTW, I never smoked a cigarette in my life.
My man seems like the best boss ever. Love that chill smoking habit conversation. Genuinely supportive and offering help knowing he has beat the habit. Seem like good people. Cheers
I believe that is so but for myself when I read Allen Carrs book I actually quit smoking before the end of the book. He tells you not to but I was just so excited to quit smoking. I did not have any withdrawals and I was smoking a 1/2 a pack a day. I did finish the book. It has been a glorious 9 years since I quit@@kandiceblu1
Thumbs up to the Young man who stepped up to buy the chucky and banner as the mom I think just wanted to be on the video and dad had no interest as I'm sure he felt any price was not worth it and the Young girl was definitely not buying the banner at the price. Now they can sit around the dinner table and talk about why they spent $250 on that junk lol.
With mass organized shoplifting becoming a huge problem nationwide. Ebay, craigslist and facebook market are the biggest fences for these goods. Something needs to be done. I just don't know how it can. As a retailer myself thanks for not buying that stuf.
I mean, how many people do you know that buy tools and not open them instantly? Lol. Usually when you buy tools it's because you need them immediately. That was just obvious on so many levels, never mind his body language and slight smirk when he asked where they came from and if he would get in trouble.
My son works at Lowes. Everyday he tells me about how they watch thieves push a cart out, full of power tools. If they try to stop them, they will be fired. Offerup is filled with stolen tools.
21:53 When i quit smoking it took 10 years and my wife dying of cancer. Still took 9 months after she died. Withdraw was 21days. Once i made it 21 days without i was good. Took 10 years to get 21 days.
Ya know, Peter. It’s very easy to just make a bad decision and get a deal on those stolen goods. But, the integrity you showed by not accepting the merchandise shows just what kind of man you are. I love what you do and always leading by example brotha! Keep being awesome, all the best!
As someone who works in construction I'll tell you this. No tool is ever new! If I have to buy a tool its getting used THAT day. Otherwise why would I buy it?
Ooof. I used to manage a large hardware store and the amount of Paslode, Bostich, etc nail guns that were lifted was crazy. Thankfully most of the manufacturers started slapping individual item shipping labels on them with the vendor name, address, piece x of x, and so on. Still did not stop the pawn shop down the street from taking them. Police were very helpful when we could show them video of X shipment being put on the shelf, being stolen and then the label at the pawn shop has the PO number and our address on it and we could possess it back. That product they brought you was lava hot, great job keeping deescalated and professional!
Why would anybody care that somebody got over on a corporation like Home Depot or Lowes ? You do realize the billionaires bring in the fentanyl right ? The billionaires want open borders ? The bottom 90% of Americans have gotten steadily poorer since 1971 ?
I've been watching this for a few years now, and live 10 minutes away. I really need to come check the store out!! Can't believe I haven't. I see it everyday driving home on 14.
I quit a little over a year and a half ago. Smoked for 35 years. Hardest thing I've ever done and I still have cravings. I don't regret my decision as a little less than a year and a half ago I became a grandpa for the first time. Love that little girl to pieces and am thankful to be here to enjoy that
I quit smoking after 40 years of the stuff. Bought a vape 10 years ago. Soon had my healthy tar free lungs back. No cravings for a cigarette. Costs me £2 a week. Best thing I did.
Good for you to quit smoking but did you give up one habit for another? I would be skeptical as to the long term affects with those vapes. @@michaelyates5976
My wife and I tried everything like you did to stop smoking. I stopped the day I had to bring my wife to the hospital. I was at a doctor's appointment and my wife was in the room and my doctor said, "You don't look right, so she checked her out and then she said, bring her to the hospital right now." So, she called the hospital and told them I was bring her there. it was right down the street, and I could get her there faster than calling an ambulance." She thought she was having a heart attack. So, on my way to the hospital I quit smoking. I was thinking to myself one of us has got to be here for the grandkids, one of us has got to see them grow up, get married, and so on. That was 8 years ago, and it was hard at first, but I did it that day cold turkey. She quit in 2017 and in 2018 we found out she had lung cancer. They remove the upper part of her left lung, and they removed part of her lower right lung. Then in 2022 it came back, and it went to her brain. So, it has been a really rough time over the past few years. So, if you're reading this and you're still smoking, just think about this, what is happening to my wife can happen to you. So do yourself a favor and stop smoking before it's too late.
Man one day my father n law who was very healthy very healthy was walking funny and kept saying his leg hurt so after about a week I told him let’s go to the er man maybe you got a hernia or pinched a nerve man took him the er I remember the doc coming out n said you have 4th stage terminal lung cancer it’s are through your pelvis bone realistically tou got about 30-60 days to live man was fucking crazy next day it was like he aged 20 years and literally down hill from there my wife quit smoking that day and never looked back me I still smoke like a idiot
What did you think would happen smoking nasty cigarettes with carcinogens, poison and pesticide filled cigarettes for a prolonged period of time lol 😅 probably the same person who called the cops on people smoking weed 🤦🏽
For me, it was about staying busy. I started a project with organizing all my different paperwork/files and whatnot. Everytime i got a craving i would do that or start cleaning or whatever. Its mos def mainly mental, so gotta get your mind on something when ya get a craving.
I tried to quit smoking for a long time. I tried the gum, patch and the pills. I went to classes as well. One day I just tossed them out. It's been almost 10 years now. It really is all in your head. Thanks for sharing your story. Love the channel
My 2 1/2 yr old grandson looks like Chucky, especially before my daughter had his hair cut and he's also a handful (yeah I mean he can be a real brat) and I call him Chucky when he's misbehaving. I've joked around with my daughter telling her to hide the knives. I'd love to have a Chucky doll to give my grandson when he's grown up. It would be a hilarious story!
I did the same thing as your wife Peter. It’s easter 2008. I started reading on Gpod Friday and by Easter Day I read the last page. The book tells you to smoke three big drags at the end, I did that and I haven’t smoked since and I was a smoker for 25 years since I was 14. Mind you, you have to follow the book to a T. Allen Carr’s easy way. It worked for me. Greetings.
I did the same thing with smoking and treated the withdrawl like a flu that I just had to push through. Every day got a little bit better. I had a couple puffs of weed in the night to help as well and nursed bkack coffee all day long.
I had the same when I gave up smoking, spent six years trying to quit, used patches and did the smoking whilst using the patch as well 😅 I also read a book about smoking and addiction and I took a week off work and spent that week in bed, having the most miserable experience haha, it was truly awful, I felt so messed up After that week I have never smoked again, and that was 13 years ago, after being a smoker for 19 years
@SunFrame - Gave up smoking 40 years ago. At that time cigarettes were 75 cents a pack in the machine in a bar. At 2 packs a day that's just over 29,000 packs. Have never regretted it.
Peter, I also quit smoking cold turkey almost 6 years ago after smoking for over 30 years. How? I suffered a stroke one morning in the kitchen paralyzed my left side. Wound up in the hospital for 2 weeks recovering and a year of physical therapy. Doing pretty good now although I wish I never started the filthy habit.
Hi love your vids. That "How to quit smoking" really stuck in my head but didnt quit. Then, after a few years, I had an emergency appendectomy. Felt so crap I never smoked again. I smoked from age 14 until 44! 40 a day man. 24 years clean. I have developed COPD but I would be dead without that book. Cigarettes here in the UK are about $14 a pack of 20 cigs.
I'm from Middle East. I own a liquor store in Detroit. I'm glad you didn't buy them stolen tools. I don't like that either. People like that usually come to the Middle Eastern liquor stores owners and try to sell them stolen stuff.
I'm friends with a wonderful couple who are from India, and they have a general merchandise and Indian grocery store in a rough part of town. I hate how people treat them, they constantly get people trying to sell them junk nobody would want, then get angry when they are politely told "no". They also get a lot of shoplifters, and one scumbag actually brought in a roll of price stickers so she could write her own price on items. I was there that time, and told them to GTFO with that! Did they really think the store owners don't know their prices, and what their own price tags look like? Thing is, this couple is so nice, they donate a lot of food to the local food bank, and I've seen them quietly give goody bags with toiletries and snacks to homeless people. If anyone is truly in need, they would gladly help them out.
Hey Pete, the world is in need of more authentic, kind, and down-to-earth individuals like yourself. Cognates on no longer smoking... I'm currently on year 2 and feel great! Happy New Year! Enjoy a fantastic 2024.
I’m glad you’re talking about smoking. I’m 36 this year and have been smoking for 16-17 years. I recently stopped weed and really need to stop cigs. I’ve quit cold turkey before but that was earlier in, maybe like a year or two in. I quit for like 5-6 months. The biggest issue is health wise, but the money part is terrible too. You may have motivated me to try. I think what I’d wanna do first is cut down to only one or two a day. Wouldn’t be easy. But it’s will power. I did it before cold turkey and can do it again
Your smoking story mirrors mine Pete, 38 years a smoker, tried everything to quit to no avail. Woke up one day 8 years ago and quit cold turkey. Best (and hardest) thing I ever did.
Reselling is a passion of mine and something I considered myself to be quite good at. Until I started watching these videos. Peter is an absolute guru with his craft and I have learned so much more about the business just learning by osmosis with these videos. Please keep doing what you’re doing Peter and hopefully one day I can maybe have a storefront of my own and be my own boss!
It took me two attempts to give up smoking. The second attempt was after a lung collapsed and I have emphysema now from it. Glad to be of them and I wish you the best in stopping.
Dude, the people buying the Chucky Doll and the other thing were so annoying. Like, how much explaining do you need. Finally the one dude just stepped up and did it. Finally.
New sub here. Thank you for your story about quitting smoking. I too have struggled having tried everything. I am searching for the book you speak of and am determined to quit. Love the videos, thanks again...🤓
The lady who wanted the Chucky doll was like " oh that was fun" after she won the coinflip with little to no enthusiasm. She never wanted it and her family knew it.
It is a McCoy cookie jar it around 50's to 60's. Glad you didn't get the stolen stuff. Thanks for sharing the stories about smoking. I don't smoke but you know it bad for you and people die from it.
Good on you for quitting the smoking habit! I quit on 10/10/01 at 10:01 PM. After smoking since 5/23/66, I had a terrible time stopping, just like you. Seven years later...I was found to have lung cancer, but it was found it early to remove the left lung, upper lobe...Long story short, I'm still going today. What are the odds of living after that? Very steep! I'm a lucky man, and I hope you prove to be as well!
Just found your channel the other day and man my wife and I are hooked! Youre such a great guy! Like with the dude who only asked 150 for the SNES system and all the games and you were honest with him and gave him 300! Peter you rock! I can't get enough of your content! I'm about 3 months back in videos now but wanted to drop a comment on your most recent video to show some love! Have a great day brother
Quitting cigs was the hardest thing I ever did. I quit 2 1/2 years ago and I am glad I did. I cut down every week from 10 to 5 to 2 to 1 to 1/2 and eventually I quit. Cigs are so expensive... Through I like I wasted so much money on then and that sux not to mention the health problems...
I watched my Grandmother suffer a horrible, long ordeal with cancer from smoking. It spread through her entire body. She was so sick - what I saw is burned into my brain and that was 30 years ago. The whole time she was sick, all she cared about was getting her next cigarette. So very sad.
@furtim1 Sure, if someone had recently reported a bunch of brand new tools stolen, the cops could use Pete's video footage to see if the tools and brand names match the description of the stolen tools.
They got those nail guns by simply walking in to Home Depot or similar and then running out with them. Aint no way Granddaddy was a roofing contractor who kept brand new tools around just in case. As a former engineering contractor, any tool I have ever bought was working within the hour I walked out of the store with it.
I just discovered your channel a few days and have been watching nonstop , customers range from chill to hilarious to insane to infuriating and idiotic. But your level of calm and chill is fantastic. Professionally laying the law without losing your patience barely raising your voice . You're the type of owner and manager I'd want to work for and with. My mom walked in while I was watching and now she's addicted to your channel. Your cat is the cherry on top! So glad I found your videos sir!
I smoked for 20 years and quit the same way. One day I just decided to stop. I even had a brand new un opened pack that I had just purchased. I still have that unopened pack in my closet. Its been 5 years now.
I quit smoking July 11 2004. I still can’t believe I quit. And yes I still get a craving once in a while. From day 1 the craving’s definitely get fewer and farther between. Maybe once every 18 months I get a craving but it’s easy to avoid now
Smoking; I never did, but my wife does. Back in the 1990’s, her and her sister went to a hypnotist. We lived in NY at the time and the hypnotist was in Boston. I drove them, because he was highly recommended. Well, it worked for my wifes sister, but not my wife🤷♂️. I think you just have to keep trying and do what works for you. It IS a mind game.
About a year and a half after we got married, I had a last cigarette, tore open the pack, gave half to my husband, and we tore them up and I said I was never going to smoke again. It's been a couple of decades and I've never smoked again. What really helped me was the health food store I hung out at a lot. They had two large posters on the wall of a male and a female smoker. The one with the woman said "Smoking Is Very Glamorous". Believe me, that poor lady looked anything but glamorous. I sat across from those posters so many times, that it had an effect on me. That health food store has changed locations twice and changed their name, but I still go there now and then, and a couple of years ago I told them how those posters helped me to quit smoking.
Congrats on the stop smoking,I’m still trying and I can’t even stand the Smell myself,I stopped for 24 hrs and wasn’t a horrible human being,I was sweaty crabby then freezing then really hot again,I just had to have one, they are so nasty
I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one greatly affected by those posters! I was in elementary school, 3rd grade 1969. Our school library had several anti-smoking posters, but there was this one I can still see in my mind if I close my eyes. It was a man who was missing his entire lower jaw because of cancer, yet he's holding a cigarette to his tracheostomy neck hole. That image was horrifying, tragic, and very sad, because this poor man has no quality of life, yet he continued to smoke. I don't remember which slogan was on that one, but I made a decision right then to never smoke, and I never did.
@@silvialivick3034 My sister quit smoking after more than 30 years of addiction. Her doctor put her on medication, Chantix, and it really helped her. Chantix and the antidepressant Wellbutrin are almost identical drugs. I have severe depression and my psychiatrist prescribed Wellbutrin and it has helped my mood a lot without the usual terrible side effects I've had with other antidepressants. Now that I've been taking it for a few years, I've noticed that I no longer like to drink alcohol. I drank a LOT when I was younger, but now I'll have a beer, and not want another. Sometimes I can't finish the first one. Also, the smell of cigarettes used to be unpleasant to me, now it makes me puke! Not pushing drugs here, just sharing my unexpected experience and my sister's success with that medication. My sister who quit smoking 25 years ago died two months ago, at age 79. I'm grateful that she had more time with us because she kicked the ciggies!
Ty for being this way! My local shop buys stolen goods all the time I remember finding my stolen pc there and the owner said I was lying and he had that before it was stolen. So the police came and he kept saying I was lying so I told the police to open the pc and look on the graphics card my name is engraved on everything… it was and the owner said oh ya I got that one last week 🤦♂️… he paid someone 100$ for a 3,000$ pc he knew they were thieves as he “lost” the id copy
I think your story may have just helped a lot of people stop! Loved that! I laughed so hard while washing my dishes when you said once you snapped out of it the first thing you did was light up 😂😂😂😂❤️❤️
People may be in situations where they can use help in these times. THANK YOU!!!! For what you do. Please know how honest this comment is! I respect what you do much more than you may know. I've gotten chills, being happy for someone who was treated right and fair. And i bet they walked away probably saying thanks without showing it in your store. I hope to be able to visit one day.
Addiction is a beast.. the way you did it is the only way... I quit opiates and alcohol just by will power... it sucked for about 2 months, and it took about a year to really stop thinking about opiates... the mind is where all of our power comes from, it’s the ability to unlock your mind that’s tough.... love your channel, happy holidays!
You can get those exact Good Guys dolls locally during the Halloween season for one hundred bucks new in the exact same box. You can also pick the same ones up online from legit vendors for the same one hundred dollar price. Brand spanking new! Seventy five dollars for a used one isn't bad but for a few dollars more you can get a brand new one.
Quitting cigarettes - I always told myself at the end of this pack or carton. Quit for a couple days or the most was two weeks. Oct. 1979, cold turkey gave away my last two and a half packs. I made it, 17 tries in total. "If it was easy everyone would be doing it, ..." Bob Parsons
I love your show..it's fascinating. As to smoking..in Australia it costs on average $1 per cigarette. I used a medicine (Champix) to give up 12yrs ago and it was so easy. I have saved myself $120K in that time.
Chantix helped me quit smoking it worked amazingly too. If you’re on chantix and smoke after the first week of it you feel really sick and queazy, made it real easy to stop long enough for that impulse to smoke to go away.
I was a heavy smoker for 49yrs. One day my doctor told me that if I didn't quit immediately I would be on oxygen within two years. I had tried several different ways to quit over the years and none of them worked. I got my head straight and about a month later I felt ready to quit and just went cold turkey. As you said, it's all in the mind. After seven years without a cigarette I don't feel much better, but I don't feel any worse and I definitely don't need oxygen.
My doctor said to me, that I was exhaling cleaner air than I was inhaling from the cigarette, because my lungs were filtering the toxins before I blew out cleaner air. He said look at the furnace filter and see how black it gets before you replace it, well your lungs are doing the same thing, but you can’t change lungs. I stopped cold turkey
Im a journeyman carpenter and have had tools stolen before and when i called every shop i finally found the majority at one pawn shop. They explained to me that they purchased the tools so i would have to buy them back for half of what they paid legally. I had to work with the police for almost a week to get them back and after all that the shop said nobody ever spoke to me and claimed the cameras wee down the day i came in. Rotten. Absolutely rotten.
Why come here and watch the video if you don’t like Pete’s deals? There are other video you can watch. You don’t have to be here. Just a thought for you
Both my parents have smoked since before I was born, my dad stopped smoking because he lost interest and knew it was the right thing to do. My mom however always does a half ass try, if she tries, she'll even promise me she'll stop because it's effected my lungs but it's never stuck. The whole "it's in your mind" mentality is the way to go about life because it's true, you have to have the will/want to actually stop/do something which is all in your mind
Congratulations on your quitting! I have been through the same thing and know what you are talking about! Cigs are the DEVIL and they have a DEATH GRIP on you! So good that you were able to stare the devil in the eye and give "him" the finger! I really like your bird too! He is a gorgeous Macaw!
If you can make the connection that smoking is making you sick, and realize the negative feeling you get outweighs any pleasure, it's easy to quit! Good Luck!
7:47 You say the box is 31" so the doll must be 30". I don't know if I'd be sure of that. That leaves only 1/2 inch in the box at the top and bottom. If the doll were 24" that would leave 3" at the top and 3" at the bottom, which would make a lot more sense with how things like that are usually packaged and how the doll physically looks in the box. Looks like more than a half inch headrest and there looks like there could be extra packaging on the bottom for the legs. Unless the legs are longer than Chucky is supposed to have. The guy said 24" when he walked in, and he could have been correct. Surely it's printed somewhere on the box.
I often get brand NIB tools from works for 70 to even 90% off. I also have access to the write off lists before something gets destroyed for not selling. My local pawn shops won't buy anything new in box because of theft. So I sell them on Ebay and make more money anyways. I just sold.5 of the exact Paslode guns I bought brand new for 75 each. However I agree those 2 guys do not have my connections and those were stolen.
Better story than granddad the contractor that had two $350 paslode guns sitting unopened. You should have receipts why wouldnt a pawn shop buy them if your produced those?
You handled those guy`s right and proper. They stole those from some where and there trying to get rid of them. To Bad though. Those were some great expensive tools
Whats the book called? Ive been smoking half my life only 15 years compared to you. I have quit multiple times and then would start back up i gotta quit again. My grandma quit after 40 something years of smoking cold turkey and she says the same thing its all in your head. Just gotta battle threw the withdrawal.

Those type dudes walk into Home Depot or Lowes and just walk out with new tools then sell them....
The Moon sign is very cool. Moon was a company that made drag racing fuel tanks. They were called Moon Tanks by the racers.
I remember moonies wheels! 😊
Congrats on the stop smoking,I’m still trying and I can’t even stand the Smell myself,I stopped for 24 hrs and wasn’t a horrible human being,I was sweaty crabby then freezing then really hot again,I just had to have one, they are so nasty
yall got some weak ass mentalities lmao
LOL @ the water poured on your hot hands!
How do you know the tools was stolen?

Yes, those tools were definitely stolen. Something is up with that. I'm glad you didn't buy them great video today
I love your show..it's fascinating. As to smoking..in Australia it costs on average $1 per cigarette. I used a medicine (Champix) to give up 12yrs ago and it was so easy. I have saved myself $120K in that time.
That man playing with the good guy doll kept smashing the box i would have gone mad good job he brought it
Chantix helped me quit smoking it worked amazingly too.
I cannot believe those people bought that pennant and Chucky doll from you for $250. There's a sucker born every day!
Those Spirit Halloween Good Guy dolls are very cheaply made. I'd rather spend $500 and get a screen accurate one.
Why come here and watch the video if you don’t like Pete’s deals? There are other video you can watch. You don’t have to be here. Just a thought for you
@@Scratchingforcash Entitled pricks! They can tell all what they want.
Seriously, especially considering Pete had just bought that doll for only like $75 at the start of the video.
They could have easily of not done it and just browsed online but to each their own.
Good Luck!
New with box, right from the store...😢 Pete still treated them well and politely nope no sale.
@UnjustifiedRecs If it's been depreciated they sure are.
I’ve smoked for 15-16 years and I think/hoping I’m close to that “I’m done” moment.
The hands burning bit was hilarious
