Chukwudi Iwuji is introduced as "The High Evolutionary" at San Diego Comic Con for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Part 3

This guy was insane as the high Evolutionary! He's now one of my favorite villains.
walk in to comic con in his gear he use in the movie to show what it look like & act the scene to give the fans the taste what he will do

Y'know, people complained when they see High Evolutionary's face isn't red like in the comics, but after seeing the movie, he does indeed have a "red" face 💀. What an awesome and terrifying villain.

The High Evolutionary is the cruelest and most sadistic villains the MCU has ever gotten. I actually think this is the first villain in ALL of the MCU without a single redeeming quality. He’s cold, calculating, evil and entertaining.
I adore the character and love Chukwudi as an actor. He’s a great guy and I really want to see him in more in the future.
and he played it just perfectly. I haven't been this excited to see someone's face getting clawed off :)

Chukwudi deserves an award for his role as The High Evolutionary. His performance is off the charts
He might not, but I hope he'll get an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
He’s so intense, like violently, and yet it never feels hammy, he’s just an evil dude. They don’t even make him do something funny, or make fun of him, they just kick the crap out of him and the movie ends. And honestly that’s kinda refreshing. Kang was good, but High Evolutionary was great.
Agreed. He's one of the best MCU villains besides Thanos, Killmonger, Vulture, Zemo, and Gorr.

@@titan_tanker watched it last night and the movie is actually good compared to thor 4 and Dr strange 2. Rocket back story was interesting but the film did feel quite long. The High Evolutionary is a bad ass villain though.

High Evolutionary became my top 5 favorite MCU villains ever, in my spot.
All of the actors on GOTG are amazing, but I have to say, Chukwudi Iwuji brought it to a whole other level. He felt like a true "thespian." Like, how did you get this Shakespearean actor to be a part of this?

@@flapjackpancake5486 they’re just mostly butt hurt because Gunn cut Henry. I too am a Henry fan, but to reboot the franchise and have actors for the next 10 plus years, he had to go younger. On another note, Jason might have been re-cast as Lobo.
Reportedly Fiege fought behind the scenes pretty hard for him, but the order came from high up in Disney.
Happy to see that his character is still alive. Means that we can have him possibly connected to the Mutants origins in the MCU.
Ehh, id prefer if they appeared naturally, like in Deadpool where their mutations manifest when under stress/brink of death

The High Evolutionary came out like "All my b*tches love me!" ayyyeee (they shoulda played the dougie song LOL). My favorite part is when he walked off the stage at the end because he was too good to stay up there with the rest of the cast minions 😆. Seriously, Chukwudi Iwuji is AMAZING!! 🥰♥♥ Chuk single-handedly elevated the whole movie, he should've had many more scenes, and James Gunn owes him a GREAT debt.
So cool that they used his Opera theme for this too, one of the many highlights of this incredible film.
The acting was so good, that people were confused. 🤣
He did a really great job in his role, probably some of the best villain/character work I've seen from the MCU

Even his theme song “Mo Egaste forn” made his entrance sooo eerie. Truly is one of the best villains in the MCU.

I’m glad I somehow didn’t find out who the main villain was until I watched the movie. As a comic fan High Evolutionary was on my mind in terms of big space bad guys for the Guardians to take down. Literally a day before I saw the movie I thought to myself, I wonder if they’ll ever do High Evolutionary in the films, he would be cool. And lo and behold I was happy surprised and utterly impressed with what they did with his character.
james gunn struck gold with chukwudi guy was great as murn in peacemaker and even better as the high evolutionary
for a 1 time villain, he sticks out because he is well written, pure evil

I realized when Chuk was talking as High Revo, he was sharing the screen with Karen, aka Amy Pond from Doctor Who.
And what was Chuk sorta recognizable for before he was High Revo and Peacemaker?
He was in Doctor Who within Eleven and Amy's era, episode: Impossible Astronaut, where he was a bodyguard named Delaware, and initially distrusts the Doc and Amy.
They both came a loooong way.
