My brother has a 2019 Continental one of the nicest cars I have ever driven and i have had over 60 cars in my lifetime, I'm 70 years old the perfect car for me
That 3.7 in that Lincoln is literally the best motor for ever made. I have a 2014 mks I bought when it had 30k miles on it. And it’s a salvage title. It has 145k on it now and I have never ever had a single issue with tranny or motor. Knock on wood.
Hey Randy, the van could be a great charitable buy! It's not something you, or most of us would want long term, but someone in need could really use. Buy it, fix it up with the intention of giving it to a veteran. Call the VA once it's ready, and try to make someone's life a bit more manageable.👍😎✌🗽
My father had a 1996 cargo version of this, so many memories! At this price, get it! I'm sure you will flip that and make mulla! With all the van life people, these are gonna go up!
Hey Randy, appreciate your love for the Continental - they are definitely underrated cars - the one in your video is a base model, so it's missing some features along with only having a 3.7. My one daily driver is an '18 Continental Reserve, and it came with a ton of options - Pano roof, heated/cooled seats, HUD display, all the tech stuff including the upgraded adaptive LED headlights (the base ones are HID), and the Revel Ultima stereo (which is awesome for a factory radio option) - if you do look at Conti's, make sure you look for the "Reserve" or "Black Label" trim, as they have all the goodies on them. Also, I have the 400HP 3.0L Ecoboost V6, and it's an amazing engine, especially with the AWD. Highly Recommend!
@@B0xlife1 they are great in the summer, especially with black leather. This is my 4th Lincoln with cooled seats, even my 2003 LS had them and have been hooked since
Hi Randy, my grandpa used to work for Ford & all he & my grandma drove were special order Lincoln Continental. The last 2 they had were 1972 4 door & a 1979 2 door. If you want a BIG Lincoln you should get a 1972 4 door. They both had the 460, power everything, air ride, & of course leather. The seats really hasn't changed between then & now. When my grandpa passed away in October 1998 he left his 1972 to my dad & the car had if I remember right 40k original miles.
I just did the test for the motorcycle learners license. I do the knowledge test and parking lot skills test every few years because it doesn't renew. I have never done a road test because it's not necessary. Close calls don't scare me anymore. Riding a motorcycle has made me more aware of my surroundings and able to predict the actions of the idots around me.I have made mistakes riding and I try not to repeat them. There are always people who won't see you. My bike was bright orange.
Buy the van…I suspect it needs a battery and fresh gas and filters. Also would be nice to see some clean up and basic repairs content. Donate the lift to someone that needs one and then find some seats to make a comfortable interstate cruiser.
Randy I 💯 Agree with you! My Dads best friend was 75 years old. He had owned a Harley dealership for over 40 years. He raced when he was young. He rode every day of his life and did long trips and was the dealership sponsor for the local HOG Chapter. He was in Florida with his wife. Full dresser. In the middle lane of a 3 lane highway. The person in the left lane decided to cross to the right lane for a turn coming up and he knew what was about to happen and did what he could. He saved his wife’s life, unfortunately he didn’t make it. His wife was in a rehabilitation facility for 8 months afterwards before she could walk. Luckily she lived and eventually could walk again but she lost her husband of over 50 years. He always said, if you ride, it doesn’t matter how good you are when the person in the car doesn’t see you 😞
Some cars if the battery is dead and you jump it, it won’t idle until the battery gets a little bit of a charge. My Dakota does that and I don’t know why but that’s just the way they work I guess.
My Dad got a brand newGMC Rollx van configured very similar to this van. The price on it was about $120.000! VA paid for around $85.000 of it. They are valuable vans for people that need one!

That van be nice fixed up. May be clogged fuel filter or a dead wire. They may have disconnected wheelchair lift to keep the minions from messing with it. Van be really nice fixed up and it wont take much to repair.
Yes that is true. The crew at CoPart probably unhooked the lift so no one could damage it or other vehicles next to that van. The lift might be completely mechanically sound. 😊
Hello Randy. The Honda Scooter is a good looking Scooter. The 2017 Lincoln Continital is a good looking car even though it's got hail damage and deep scratches on the hood and bumper.
The chair lift in the van may have been disabled by copart so that a button stabber like yourself doesnt activate it only to have it to slam into the car that is closely parked next to it! 😬. Handicapped spaces have a provisional area next to them to allow for such operation.
I think the worst case scenario on that Regency is it needs a TPS or MAF. Might just need fresh gas too but we know the engine sounds good when it's running, so it's got to be something small. I say get it if you want it.
I like the Continental as well and would get one except the 3.5 and 3.7 L Ecoboosts have an internal chain driven water pump which I heard if starts to go bad and left unnoticed can leak coolant into the engine to the point it destroys it. Plus, I heard it's very expensive to replace due to labor and having to pull the entire engine almost to get to it. Wish it had the 4.6 L found in the old Panthers.
Wait out for a decent Continental to show up. Check the soft close/electronic open on all of the doors as they can have issues. Besides that they are excellent cruisers that are way undervalued right now like most luxury sedans. Outstanding comfort as you know.
I love when you take an interest in the "handicapped/wheelchair vehicles". I'm in need of one but definitely cant afford the $20,000-$30,000 for even used ones nevermind newer ones.
The GMC would be nice to see on the channel see what it takes to get it running right I love these vans to but again it's all up to u if u get it I will be turning in enjoy your time with the family

Buy it, What a van for the family to travel to Indiana in, Loads of room for Nick to stretch his legs out and for the dog too, If you need a power nap, You could sleep on the bench seat in the back, It’s also a great parts hauler, I would buy it now at the price with them miles, It’s in nice condition too.
Randy, if you do end up getting that van (and I think it’s a deal!) we have been looking for a van for a friend of mine thats been in a wheelchair her entire life. She currently has an old 95 G20 van, low miles at I believe 120ish, but it’s starting to fall apart. If you do end up getting it, man id be thankful to talk to ya about it!
Wait for the auction Randy. You might get it for cheaper than the buy it now price. If it’s not meant to be then it’s on to the next vehicle. Love the content.
I have been looking for van to make into a camper van. I'm turning 80 years old in January and would love to do a little traveling and camping. I have rheumatoid arthritis and can't walk around to shop for one. If you find a good reliable van I would certainly be interested. I bought a mini van to use but it is a bit small.
