      I don't think Haku is in any way proud of the fights he had. He's probably slightly ashamed. The guy seriously hurt people lol I don't think he finds that cool or anything like that, just necessary at the time (well to an extent necessary, Haku could have beaten a lot of those guys without biting off chunks of their flesh lol)

I think Goldberg gets a lot of flack because of the streak and his squash style matches, but thats what he was supposed to do and it got over like gangbusters. Anything less and it would not have, and for me he brought a level of excitement to WCW and wrestling that hadn't been seen in a very long time, and the proof was in the pudding. Goldberg was a legitimate badass . That being said . There was a respectable upper echelon that the very best wrestlers would not attempt to disrespect , regardless of who was over at the time . Yes , they would take the loss . That does not mean they were inferior as the opposition . It was simply who upper management felt would sell the most tickets . Goldberg was outstanding when he got his push . The Rock was also outstanding when he got his push . It was incumbent on management to capitalize on their popularity at their peak to maximize profits . That does not minimize who the most respected and most feared active wrestlers were and obviously there is very little to debate . The toughest and most respected have been acknowledged by the very best in their era . We cannot contradict what so many who actually competed with these icons have confirmed .

      @dperry203 4 года назад +1

      Akshay K lmao! Stories told by other wrestlers are like middle school stories! When no one fights they are scared of anyone who they see fight and assume they are fought because they fought. Fighting when no one else will against other unknown skill levels does not make you a good fighter! It makes you tougher than the average person who is to scared to fight. They will kiss your ass and be scared of you because you will fight and they won’t. To compare that to a fighter making a name off of crushing other fighters and a history of hundreds of street fights goes to show how delusional pro wrestling fans and wrestlers are! If two chess players got in a fight. All the other chess players would talk about how fought and mean the guy who won was. That doesn’t mean he is beating up anyone outside of chess!
      Toughness alone doesn’t win fights it allows you to take a beating! Tank had a legit wrestling background from college to training with Mark Shultz. He also had a well known and proven ability to punch and had extensive boxing training. Yet you people slob on Mengs nuts without knowing anything he could actually do that is required to win and beat a skilled fighter! You never seen him punch. You don’t know if he has heavy hands, fast hands, a chin, or real wrestling ability. Wrestlers are insecure and are scared of anyone who just pretends to be tough. Half these clowns brag about getting rough with their opponent during fake matches. Only a pussy would try to go hard on someone in a scripted match often using their position in the company to stiff noobs who won’t shoot or go hard back. That’s not something s fighter would do. It’s a bully and a cowards move to do that but they are insecure and want to feel tough without risk getting their ass kicked. Only problem wrestling industry thinks they can scout fighting ability without seeing anyone fight or do anything meaningful fight related. It’s beyond stupid! Reminds me of people thinking Warren Sapp would be a better fighter than Bob Sapp just because he was better at football.🙄

    OMG!!! I just thought of the greatest idea! They should do a remake of 1964 Gold Finger and Haku should play the bad guys bodyguard! Haku is not Vietnamese but he has the same build look and toughness as that bodyguard in 1964. Haku could play that part probably better than the original film. It would be the perfect fit! lets do it!!!!

      okay this is confusing because when I look up goldfinger the bodyguard name appears as Harold Sakata born in 1920 and dies in 1982 Peter Maivia died in 1982 as well but he is listed as being born in 1937. Both died the same year of cancer. according to IMDB page Maivia was in james bond movies but not goldfinger. This is a bit of a mystery

Its like Paul Bunyon when other wrestlers talk about him as opposed to the humbleness he shows when talking about himslef.
