And said it felt like he just got punched. And even HE says in a last Man standing situation, "Haku would kill 'us' !" Now put THAT into perspective.
Rubbish. Andre was twice there size and strength. He was being polite in interviews. He was never really scared! Andre if he hit you full force with his MASSIVE shovel hands would absolutely destroy you. Your talking about a man with hands bigger than Hakus head! With a body so large, no amount of punches would hurt his body. Unless you kicked him in his groin or shot him with a shot gun, there is no other way you are putting Andre down if he does not want to go down. Haku should crash a wwe hall of fame ceremony and declare to the audience that he is in the hall of fame now and the demand that Vince himself come out to induct him.

The main reason you know the business is a work is because if it wasn't, Meng and Barbarian would just trade the world title back and forth until they chose to retire.
I don't know how this ended up in my feed, but alright. As an islander myself, I grew up with a tough upbringing. Haku is a generation before me. Where ever you're from, imagine a country boy, but bare foot, living that country life. Because of genetics and diet, slap an extra 20 lbs on that sucker. Get his mentality and spirituality right. Anybody needs you, you're there for them. Even strangers. That's how we're brought up. Now send him across the seas and give him martial arts training and have him travel around the world, dealing with people from all walks of life. Sometimes add alcohol into that mix with old school thinking. That could potentially create a very dangerous individual.

3.) Barbarian and Haku should have been tag team
@@asawhitemanidjustliketosay and they were in WCW lol
the toughest guys are always the nicest they don't need to flaunt their strength
@@casadycawlfield1019 for like a month
@@asawhitemanidjustliketosay no meng and barbarian were in wcw for like 2.5 years o.o
What I’ve gathered is…Haku is the toughest and nicest wrestler in the world. Also, the Barbarian is a close second for toughest.
Keep in mind people. Perry Saturn is a former Army Ranger. This man fought off two men trying to rape a women in 2004, got shot twice in the neck and shoulder with a .25 caliber. And said it felt like he just got punched.
And even HE says in a last Man standing situation, "Haku would kill 'us' !"
Now put THAT into perspective.
Well stated. And he said without hesitation that Haku could kill all of them in the blink of an eye and there would nothing anyone could do about it.
Haku is so tough, he could stare down a Silverback
I totally would watch him vs a gorilla lol
nah
Let me put to everyone like this when Andre The Giant was afraid of Meng, that pretty much tells everyone what a tough person Meng is.
Haku was one of two wrestlers Andre was scared of. The other was Harley Race.
People need to realise being tough is not the same as being a great fighter.
If Andre lost his temper for real he would destroy Haku with 1 giant slap.
I love how this is ten straight minutes of people describing Haku as the scariest person imaginable, but also really nice, and the last 38 second is just him being the most nice humble guy imaginable!
Bad News Brown, Stu Hart, Jerry Brisco, and Taz have also called Haku the toughest wrestler of all time. Check out those clips as well on my channel.
@@chaoticdays thats saying something cause bad news brown was no push over either
That’s the dream
During the height of his power in the wrestling business, Eric Bischoff once interrupted Meng and his friends talking. Meng yelled at Bischoff to apologize for being rude AND HE DID.
And don't forget that the reason he was employed by wcw for so long was because they were scared to fire him.
I heard that he didn't actually yell. He simply said something to the effect of "Hey, I'm talking to my friends right now. Apologise" and Bischoff did and came back later.
Haku should crash a wwe hall of fame ceremony and declare to the audience that he is in the hall of fame now and the demand that Vince himself come out to induct him.
He should definitely get in the H.O.F. no question
I remember hearing the stories when bookers who had difficult talent who refused to do what was asked be threatened by having Haku come and speak to them about why they aren’t willing to do what’s asked and they would fall into line instantly and literally beg the Booker not to tell Haku what was happening. When just the mention of Haku talking to you terrifies you that much says absolutely everything.
lol that’s like “…when your dad gets home”
That was Kevin sullivan asking the WCW tag champions ..the Samoans I do believe. They were like, no one can beat us ,we ain't laying down for no one. Then sullivan said, maybe uncle meng would love to hear this and they were like please God no. You can pin us both, just don't tell.meng..lol
If Don Frye calls a man scary....
"Haku tough? You kidding me? He eats people." - Ric Flair
Kevin Nash said it best - “Where do you hurt him?” you take one look at him and think exactly the same.
Vader put his own eyeball back in its socket... and wouldn't mess with Haku.
Argument over.
I could give a shit what Ric Flair and other pro wrestlers say, when Don Frye and Tank Abbott are saying you're scary, you're fucking scary.
If DON FRYE says you’re a bad man best believe that’s not a guy you want to deal with lbs
Your arch enemy: I have a army.
You: I have a Haku.
Your arch enemy and their army: We surrender!!!!!!!
If Don Frye says Haku is a scary human being then it's case closed
8:50 When Don Frye call somebody scary, you know they are a legit badass.
Don Frye saying Haku is scary is the scariest thing I've ever heard.
@Top Lobster YES!!! Bas is the man!!! I think I'd pick those two and Haku as my crew if I needed a stable of fighters
@Top Lobster Not Bas Rutten. Ken Shamrock beat Bas, and Shamrock was beaten within an inch of his life by Jerry Sags

When Don Frye, one of the toughest SOB's going, tells you someone is scary, you goddamn listen.
I never get fed up of hearing haku/meng stories
Me too bro 👌🏽
What a legend. When the greats Immediately submit to you. GodMode.
Notice that NOONE even Embellished how tough Haku is, and no hesitation in mentioning his name!
If Don Frye thinks you are scary, you are frightening.
Wow, Hogan told the truth.
I knew Haku was tough when I found out Andre The Giant was scared of him. If you can make the 8th wonder of the world fear you, you are someone not to make angry.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
he said it's better to go to hell than to mess with that man
Perry Saturn was a fucking Army Ranger and even he said Meng would lay waste to Fit Finlay, Rick Steiner, Scott Norton, Jim Duggan and himself, AND that there's nothing they would be able to do about it. Fuck scary, that's just mortifying.
When Don Frye says someone is a scary person that carry’s some weight
There's a story about Vader and Mr. Wonderful having a scuffle. Their versions vary, but one thing that was consistent, when Haku(Meng in WCW) told them to stop, they stopped.
Don Frye saying Haku is so tough is crazy.
The main reason you know the business is a work is because if it wasn't, Meng and Barbarian would just trade the world title back and forth until they chose to retire.
This is amazing. I've never seen 25 wrestlers agree on anything.
That’s the utmost respect. But in the same breath they say that he was the NICEST guy in the world
0:56 the only truthful thing to come from the Hulksters mouth in decade's
Biggest balls award goes to the skinny guy who asked Haku himself.
All the jokes and memes about what Chuck Norris can do is what Haku can do before even opening his eyes in the morning from sleep.
Thanks for the insight. I met him once and he was VERY kind. That being said, I still was a little nervous.
Malo toko Hau a ke mai hata kii lai lu
You’ve described another legendary tough islander called Gary Spiers. One of the toughest men ever.
Holy shit....if Don Frye calls you scary.....Jesus is Tonga even human lol
Don Frye validation. Nuff said
Real tough guys don't talk about how tough they are, many other people talk about how tough that person is. That's Haku.
When Don Frye calls you scary. 🤘
I'm just trying to find one bad comment about Haku... everybody loved this man
The dealership he manages must be the ONLY business where NO ONE wants to "talk to the manager"
The way Saturn flat out says "Tonga" is scary.
The scary thing is Perry Saturn was an Army Ranger and those guys are real bad asses. And he said Tonga could kill everyone of us in a blink of an eye and there's nothing we can do about it.
@@BBBYpsi Yep
For Don Frye to call you frightening…Haku must have truly been a force to be reckoned with.
Awesome seeing him at the end looking like the nicest guy in the world after 10 mins of everyone calling him the biggest badass
If Don Frye thinks you are tough……you are tough !!
I know that most of these guys are tough guys but to hear Don Frye talk about how scary Haku was mean something cuz Don Frye the UFC was a bad man wellmore in Pride
Saturn was so genuine in his response that you know it's true
Its a funny irony that everyone says Haku was the one person you didnt wanna piss off but he was also the nicest person in real life...
Rumor has it that Chuck Norris fears Haku.
He got maced then grabbed the can and sprayed his own eyes with it
Never even bothered him one bit
Seems legit
Some people can ignore CS (like 1 in 50 people), mace is a mixture of pepper and CS, so holy shit he ignored that?!
Its all OK until the Predator calls him frightening
Bad News Brown and Stu Hart have also called Haku the toughest wrestler of all time. You can check out the clips on my channel.
Loved Meng and Barbarian. I got the sense even as a kid that they were the toughest guys in real life.
"They are all strange rumors......but all of them true" lol
Haku/Meng one of the nicest guys around but when it’s time to get down to business he was like a machine if I was in a bar fight I definitely want him on my side 👍
I wish SOMEONE had security cameras in their bars back then. A legit Haku bar fight video could sell for some big money!
When wrestlers went out between shows, they were known to ask the island boys to watch their backs, knowing that no one would mess with guys like Haku or the Wild Samoans.
Who wouldn’t? I’ll buy him drinks every night 🤭👍
Imagine the amount of money a video of a legitimate Haku bar fight could sell for. It's literally a thing of legend. He is the William Wallace of wrestling.
I imagine it like the scene from lord of the rings when Sauron is smashing people out of the way
There's a clip of MMA fighter Koji Kitao trying to shoot on Haku in a pro-wrestling match. Haku knocks Kitao out unconscious in a matter of seconds.

Love these stories. And love humans like this… someone who can destroy you with his pinkie, so he’s very secure in himself, since he has no fear. So… just a sweet, kind dude. And seeing them interview him here at the end (albeit abbreviated and chopped off) proves it. A humble, self-deprecating individual. I always loved watching him… whether he was a heel or a face. Now I’ll appreciate him even more.
Sonny Onoo was world bantamweight Karate champion in the early 80s and he's saying that the only chance MMA fighters have against Haku is if they carried sharp weapons or firearms. OMG
When Don Frye is saying it….
